I can't decide what to buy Delonghi fh1394.w / bk or Steba DD2 ...
Large family (6 people)
Catherine
In this case, take the Steba DD2 XL 6 liters. An extra liter will not hurt. It takes up the same amount of space on the table, 2.5 cm higher in height. The bowl is the same in diameter as that of a 5-liter bowl, only higher, you can safely put 0.7 liter glass jars in it. And if you buy a spare Teflon bowl for it, it will be just beauty!
bondareva
Alex_Fil, thanks for the answer)
I planned to buy the cup anyway, but 6 liters is worth thinking about!

Right choice!!! This multicooker can do ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING !!! It completely covers the temperature range from 40-160 degrees, there is no multi-cook, but it is easy during cooking to reset the program, change the parameters and start again. I experimented with measuring the temperature of the liquid in the bowl at a given temperature, the discrepancy is + - maximum 2 degrees, so do not look at the display, the temperature value there may vary from + - 8-10 degrees, but inside the bowl there will be a temperature set by you with a maximum discrepancy of + - 2 degrees. Only VERY expensive multicooker can boast of this indicator. I bought it for Su-Weed, and there accuracy is very important. Cook and enjoy Little Red Riding Hood !!!

Vasya Fufaikin, Actually, I bought it after reading your posts. Since childhood and still remember the taste of pig iron.
But I'm wondering. Let's say the meat is cooked at a temperature below 100, and there will not be anything harmful due to insufficient heat treatment?

Do not cook meat at temperatures less than 52 degrees, and you can rest assured. I cook rubber beef steaks at 57 degrees for 2-2.5 hours, then fry for about 30 seconds. on each side in a hot skillet. It turns out very tasty.

Just cooked beef stroganoff with mushrooms in Steba DD2. It turned out very tasty. Who cares, I am writing a recipe.
1. Turn on the Frying mode, fry the onions in olive oil until golden brown (2 onions)
2. Cut the mushrooms (champignons 6-8 pieces of large size) and fry with the onion
3. Cut the beef against the fibers approx. 700 gr. and add to the onion with mushrooms and continue to fry. Evaporate the liquid that appeared from the beef roasting.
4. Pour in 350 gr. sour cream and seasonings to taste. I always add my favorite seasoning "Seasoning Exclusive" for meat and a little salt with sea salt. But a little.
5. Add 1.5 tablespoons of flour and stir well until thickened.
6.Turn on the Simmering + mode and set the temperature to 90 degrees and the time to 1.30 hours.
When done, add salt to taste. Well, it turned out very tasty. Recommend. Come up with a side dish yourself.

I'm wondering what is the difference between Steba DD1 and Moulineh 812, although we have the same price category

Mirabel

Yes, of course, you can use any multicooker. The main advantage of multicooker is the ability to cook food in the simmering mode, in which it turns out to be the most delicious. And I use pressure in order to quickly cook peas for fishing))) Well, you can also quickly cook porridge, but I don't know more about applying pressure))) Even soups at a temperature of 90 degrees are many times tastier than quickly and under pressure.

Vasya Fufaikin, About soups on languor, I agree completely!

Girls, tell me which multicooker is better to buy. There was never a multi and I thought that it was not necessary, but here I saw enough of the video and decided that I want it with a large bowl volume of 7-8 liters and with a ceramic coating. So that there are programs: milk porridge, porridge, soup, stewing, frying, baking and a double boiler.

In your case, the choice is very wide, here you have to dance either from the money you want to spend, or from a specific brand that you personally like. With a bowl of 7-8 liters, I have not heard of such multi))) Although there may be some unknown Chinese brands. 6 liters is no problem.

I don’t understand why you need such a large bowl volume, five liters is enough
ludmila_27.79
The family is large, 5 people. And I would like to cook not just one meal, but at least 2 days. 5 l bowl - working volume is 4 l? You need at least 6. I watched multi with a large bowl, their functionality is usually small. I liked Martha in terms of functions, but there is basically 5 liters, do not they have 6 liters with the same functionality?
SinichkaV
Ludmila, check out the Martha 1973 model, it is 7 liter. But in my opinion it goes without a multi-cook, simple.

Look at the Steba DD2 XL - very good and one of the most versatile on the market. Marta does not have a pressure cooker, but Steba does. And her bowl is 6 liters. To be honest, I'm just crazy about this stove. Steering mega is simplified as much as possible, unlike other models. The buttons are membrane and not touch sensitive, which I think is very important. I have a Panas 18 with membrane buttons for more than 8 years, but you understand the touch control in the kitchen.

I think it will be more convenient to buy one multicooker (or pressure cooker-multicooker), but with two bowls. Even if the useful volume of one is 4 liters, and two are already 8 liters.
Or here's a good proposal, I support - Steba DD2 XL - 6 liters, its useful volume is less, about 5, but with an additional bowl - that's it! The main bowl is stainless steel, it is better than with a "ceramic" coating, and an additional one is made of Teflon, for different dishes you can choose which one is better. The operation is simple and straightforward, it is possible to work without pressure, like a slow cooker and a slow cooker: sour cream, yoghurts and other sour milk - easy! As a pressure cooker - jellied meat, peas, meat on the bone - that which is usually cooked for a long time is much faster here.
Anastasenok
ludmila_27.79, with multicooker, the cooking process is greatly simplified. On the contrary, we switch from 5 liters to babies of 1.6-2 liters each, because we are spoiled and do not want to eat the same thing a second time and it is already very easy to cook. Fresh is tastier and healthier. Look really Shtebu with 2 bowls. There is no need to constantly cook a lot with a live assistant
ludmila_27.79
SinichkaV, yes 7 l Martha's model without Multipovar and it is simpler than 5 l.

The native bowl is steel, the additional ones are Teflon and ceramic. Better to take teflon, to ceramic in six months everything will begin to stick.

Good day to all!

Do not tell me which model of the multicooker to take a closer look at? Since such a kitchen gadget has never been considered, advice from experienced users is needed.
I am looking for a good, inexpensive (3500-4000) with a multi-cook mode, the ability to manually adjust the parameters, be sure to have a flat bottom so that it is easy to wash and not burn. Porridge, stewing, frying are required. Perhaps the functions would be useful: baking, yoghurt makers, frying, I don't know if you think they are useful.

I see people here understand and use it for a long time. I have no experience of mutual relations with multicooker

Multicooker Lumme LU-1447 or Multicooker Marta MT-1989, they are twin sisters. Both meet your requirements. I have Lummochka, I'm not overjoyed at her!

Today I decided to cook shurpa again, but decided to change the cooking mode. Let me remind you the recipe:

Shurpa's recipe without unnecessary manipulation:

1. Lamb on the bone 1 kg. Desirable in large pieces)
2. Medium carrots 2 pcs. (cut coarsely 2 cm thick)
3.2 medium onions (cut into half rings)
3.3 sweet peppers (cut into strips)
4.5 medium tomatoes (pour over with boiling water and remove the skin, cut in half)
5.3 medium potatoes (cut in half)
6.4 cloves of garlic
7. A pinch of coriander (not ground)
8. A pinch of Jambul or as some call it Tarhun
9. Salt to taste

This time I cooked soup in my Steba DD2 on the mode, under the pressure of 0.7 Bar for 40 minutes. All products are loaded into the bowl with one tab.Shurpa turned out to be much richer and tastier in this mode. Now I will cook shurpa only in this mode !!!
Rituslya
Vasya Fufaikin, the recipe is great, yes. I am the only one, so the lamb bone confuses. It's good if a single can be caught.
I mainly cook in strained broths. Coward, yeah.
Vasya Fufaikin
Rituslya

If you are afraid of bones, remove them from the bowl and strain the broth. The quality and taste of the broth on the pressure soup mode will pleasantly surprise you. I have never had such a rich broth in a regular saucepan.
S * lena
Vasya Fufaikin, Your shurpa's recipe attracted attention. I want to do it, only with beef shank. The only question is, do you add water, or is this delicious stew in its own juice?
They'll probably beat us for hours, for chatter is not the topic
Vasya Fufaikin
S * lena

Pour water once, because we cook under pressure and do not open the lid until it is completely cooked. All products in the bowl are filled with COLD WATER ONLY !!! No hot water from kettles by any means. I advise many to learn this main rule when cooking broths. MEAT IS ALWAYS PUT IN COLD WATER ONLY !!! I just read a lot and saw enough of recipes from the wonderful housewives who pour boiling water over the meat even in a slow cooker)))
S * lena
Vasya Fufaikin, OK thanks. Is there a lot of water? Or just cover the content?
: oops: definitely beat ...

but for recipes and usage descriptions, we have more appropriate topics

And let's leave this topic for those choosing a multicooker or pressure cooker.

and it would be nice to decorate such a delicious recipe as a separate recipe, otherwise it will eventually get lost in the depths of the topic.
somers
Tell me please.

You need a multicooker with the ability to set the temperature in steps of 1 degree (the larger the range, the better so that some kind of sous vide can be organized), time in steps of 1-5 minutes and a bowl with handles.
Eyes run up from the assortment, but nowhere did I find a filter by the temperature step.

I would be grateful for the options.
AnastasiaK
somers, I can recommend March 1980, on all programs the temperature step is 1 degree and the time is 1 minute. I use it specifically for sous-vide, now, for example, the ham is languishing there. The only thing is the Bowl without handles, but this is not a problem, there are Redmond special tongs for the bowl or just a towel.
Vasya Fufaikin
somers

If you need a multicooker-pressure cooker, then Steba DD2, if a simple multicooker, then Marta 1989.
sveta-Lana
I look closely at the multicooker, outlined Redmond RMC-M12, Marta MT-4301, Polaris PMC 0533AD
they have a manual mode, I was looking for a small one for 3-4 liters, but then I thought that it could be 5 liters, if only it was compact (I hope it will be possible to prepare a portion of porridge in a large cup for one person)
I'm going to cook milk porridge, stew meat and vegetables, pilaf, jellied meat, steam
I suffer with the choice, I reread a bunch of reviews, someone praises, someone hates
help me decide
Rituslya
sveta-Lana, I had plenty of Reds. They are all the same. There were few Polaris, in fact I did not taste it.
In the end, I would have bought Martha, because her functionality is huge. But I won't tell you about the model, but Martha's abilities are right now!

Vasya, this is just your personal opinion.

Lumme SMART LU-1447 and 1445 are also suitable (in 1447 the bowl is Teflon, in 1445 it is ceramic, and the model is one, the only difference is in the bowl that comes with it)
there is a topic Multicooker Lumme LU-1447
It's a good cartoon, and I like it, and I didn't notice any dissatisfied in the subject.

The Lumme LU-1446 CHEF PRO multicooker, although a more budget model, is also suitable (and there are satisfied users of this model in the Lummi 1447 theme)
description at the office. website 🔗

I looked now, even to the budget model Lummi 1436 and 1444 in the description of these cartoons at the office. the site says:
one of the main features of the LUMME - **** multicooker is the ability to manually set the time (from 1 minute to 15 hours in 1 minute steps) and the cooking temperature (from 30 to 170 ° C in 1 ° C steps) in the settings of any program (except for the "Yogurt" program), which allows you to set 30 options for manual settings of cooking programs.

Good luck to everyone in choosing a mulichka!
