I have nowhere to put the trash can and I collect garbage in a plastic basket from a fixed price list in which there is a regular garbage bag. In principle, it's convenient for me, because I live with a garbage chute in the house and throwing it away is not a problem. But, I have a purebred cat that occasionally kittens. Kittens must be raised to a certain age, vaccinated, and this is not a small age. And while the kittens are growing, I have nothing to store garbage. They tumble this basket, take out the trash, they can chew on something. Therefore, I collect everything in tiny bags on the table and throw it away immediately, but it's not so convenient. Maybe you can advise me a bucket, a basket, or I don't know what, what has a good roof, what can be turned over and it will not open, and what can be put on the floor and not on the countertop. But at the same time, the lid is removed quite easily and not of a huge size, since there is nowhere to put much and under a tight lid the garbage will suffocate and stink.
