Jam "Summer Dream"

Category: Blanks

Ingredients

Watermelon 1 kg
Raspberry 500 g
One lemon juice
Gelatin sugar 1 kg
Pink water 75 ml

Cooking method

  • 1. From the pulp of the watermelon with the seeds extracted from it, make a puree and pass it through a sieve.
  • 2. Transfer the watermelon puree to a saucepan. Add raspberries, lemon juice and rose water. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil and simmer over high heat for 2-3 minutes, until the raspberries are soft.
  • 3. Pour in the gelatinous sugar and stir to dissolve. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4 minutes over high heat until it thickens.
  • Skim off the foam, refill the jars and close them immediately.

Note

Girls and boys, I hasten to share a new recipe for jam.

I really liked this confiture in combination with natural yogurt, and my husband and daughter with pancakes. The recipe does not require special costs and efforts, a minimum of pre-processing and a short cooking time are very captivating.

Krosh, an amazing recipe
I want to try.
I just didn’t understand - take the seeds out of the watermelon?
Crochet
Country stove,
From the pulp of a watermelon with the seeds extracted from it - you probably did not notice this line ...

I have many such "amazing" recipes from different berries and fruits, though not all of them have been tested yet ... There are blackberries, apricots, plums, blueberries, etc., and each is amazing in its own way, usually in combination with some other something with a berry or fruit. If anyone is interested in a recipe from a specific type of berries (fruits), I will gladly share ...

Krosh, yes, just this phrase caused my question.
That is, extract the seeds and then add them back to the pulp?

Crochet
Rustic stove, no, don't have them back into the pulp. In any case, these are the words of the author of the book, or rather the translator. Wow, these translators ...
Rustic stove
Krosh, everything is clear, thanks.
I trust your (or yours?) Confiture recipes for a long time, I will try this
Crochet
Country stove, of course "yours"! By the way, I forgot to write that in the absence of gelatinous sugar (which I don't come across anywhere) I used the usual + "Zhelfix 1 + 1".
Cubic
Wow!! How interesting ... I love intricate confitures (preserves?).
And is there something extra currant thread (any)? I just don't really like this berry, but my grandmother's dacha has her abyss !!!

Crochet
Cubic, of course. How unusual is for you to judge. I put it in a separate temkoy.

P.S. Oh, and maybe I scattered all the recipes in separate Temko in vain. Maybe they should have been collected under one roof?
Cubic
Thank you, Crochet!!!

Found as many as 3 pieces !!! Armed with your recipes, I'm ready to accept grandma's gifts in buckets.

About the general topic: it is not a fact that it is more convenient, dear moderators: smartass: they will put recipes in the table of contents, and then it will be easy to find them.
Crochet
Cubic, health!

I'm sorry, but what is "rose water"?

Vernichora,
Rose water is a mixture of essential rose oil and distilled water. But I ignored this component for lack of it ...
Vernichora
And you didn't replace it with anything? For example, plain water or some kind of juice? Maybe adding juice (for example, blueberry juice, a little mint syrup, or something else interesting) will add some new shades or aroma to the jelly? Or spoil it?

I'm sitting here getting ready for the summer, collecting recipes, our parents and my husband have two dachas, we are usually overwhelmed with the harvest of berries and fruits, by the fall all the compartments of the refrigerator are full, there is nowhere to store food
we really need recipes so that it is unusual (because they got drunk), so that it can be stored without a refrigerator and it was possible, if you add something to the baking ... here ...
.... and I am now your fan
you have so many interesting unusual recipes, I copied a few for myself, I want more
or you can ask for a recipe for blueberry and blackberry jam
