did the smell appear or was there from the very beginning?

At 255, I also had a strong smell of some kind of plastic for the first few weeks. This did not affect the bread. By the way, only I could smell a sharp smell. The rest thought that the smell was not strong. But I have a strong selective scent
tatyanka89
not only when baking bread, a pungent smell, but also when kneading the dough, at first there was a smell of plastic and after a while it disappeared, but now the smell cannot be compared with that it is as if it does not heat up, but burns
* Anyuta *
Perhaps you either have a piece of dough "burning" or flour ... Look carefully at the insides of the HP ... maybe there is something stuck there?

Did you not pay attention to the fact - did the HP body become warmer than before? Just don't touch with your hand! Bring your palm to the body a short distance. If you feel that the heating of the case at a distance is clearly abnormally high, then the thermal sensor of the HP has flown. I think that you cannot do without a visit to the SC. Try to call them first, they may ask more questions. But the pungent smell of plastic is not good. Spilled flour or burnt dough will not smell like that.
Yes, more! Clarify: what does "work" mean? Is there a smell when mixing or when baking? If during mixing, then ...

Maria, I, contrary to all advice, when the shaft in the bucket began to work with tension, I dropped a couple of drops of ordinary machine oil (which I used for a sewing machine) on it from the end (i.e. outside), where there is such a mustache washer ... Two such burials were enough - for several months everything has been working normally.
Yeah, after a few days this problem appeared - the brown flow of figs knows what is at the bottom of the outside of the bucket. In the beginning it was not there. They took off the puck with the antennae, and under it on the "eared" washer, for which the stove turns the blade, a dried brown puddle. As if something leaked and burned. We washed it, dropped oil - it seems like the flight is normal. Thanks for the advice. Probably, at my stove, the oil seal compresses the shaft more tightly and nothing has ever leaked, no matter what I cook in a bucket. I'll go check the stove just in case ...

I apologize in advance to the moderators for duplicating the message, but it fits there and there:

Good day everyone.

I am the owner of the specified Panasonic SD-2501 Bread Maker. After the acquisition, I ran into a problem - bread is not baked, it falls off. After completing the full program, the roll has a concave (fallen) top crust. It seems that the right temperature is not being created at the top of the loaf. On the walls you can see that the dough rose, but then fell off. When choosing a roll of the largest size, the final result is obtained by volume in half the capacity, with the top crust falling off. At the same time, the top crust is very soft, much less crispy and fried than the bottom. Turning to an authorized SC, I received back a device with a diagnosis "no failure detected". I suppose that they did not bake there, but checked the temperature level. But ten, according to my assumptions, works fine, heats up enough (my assumptions), judging by the temperature of the stove body. Tried to bake French bread. The crust turned out to be normal, but it practically did not rise, it was not fried inside. I have tried looking by opening it slightly or through a dispenser. It seems to rise normally. And just before baking, I looked - the dough fell out.As if the temperature had dropped sharply or the dough had "stirred". Help, please, can anyone come across.
P.S. I can't post photos, I don't understand how.

Vedomed And without service I will say that your HP is working properly. Weigh flour with scales, water with a glass from HP. For reliability, change the flour and yeast to fresh and from another manufacturer.
Vedomed
Sazalexter, I would have believed it too, if not for one "but" - a person has exactly the same stove. There are two standing side by side, the same amount of ingredients is filled in, the same program is installed. And as a result, in his oven the bread is more luxurious and with a crust, in mine it is baked, but without a crust on top (it is soft and not dark). One gets the impression that the temperature goes up somewhere, although according to the picky feeling - there are no leaks.
sazalexter
Vedomed If you are so sure, take the components, go to the service and bake bread at the service.
PS: and open the oven before baking and during, I do not advise

These are already attempts to understand the cause, after a series of failed attempts with the lid closed "

Do you fill up the same components, from the same manufacturer and from the same batch?
Vedomed
The same ingredients, the same weights and volumes.
Rina
soft and too light crust - is the dispenser closed normally? Is the fuser top cover closed? Are there no gaps? I just saw something like this once on moulinex bread (there is a window in the lid).

In general, what I would advise is to track the batch. Read the Baking Guide and the kolobok rule (all links are in the first posts of the topics):

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=132450.0

Your problems are very much like an elementary flour / liquid imbalance - too much liquid. Or too much yeast. Or both.

PS The lid can and should be opened at the kneading stage and you can spy on the proofer. RIGHT bread dough (with a flour / liquid balance) forgives a lot of liberties. And from just a drop in temperature, such a dough does not fall off. It is better not to open the stove during the last hour of work.

Vedomed And where is the photo from another HP that stands nearby? From this photo I can say that the problem is in the components and (or) their dosage.

I got exactly the same bread when: 1) I poured 330g of water into 400g of flour when I was awake, instead of 260g 2) there was a lot of yeast - the dough stopped and began to fall off, 3) once I got a bag of "left" flour. Another question about the photos - small white spots are visible there. Is it flour? It looks like the dough is not kneaded well, that is, instead of the "rubber" dough with normal gas-holding capacity, "wet flour" is baked in the bread maker. The holes in the crumb are somehow unnatural, irregular in shape ...

The dark strip in the last photo, passing halfway up, is also very embarrassing. When I looked into my oven, then 30 minutes (approximately) before baking, the spatula makes several turns, winding the dough over itself. As a result, a ball rolls down the center of the bucket. It is interesting to watch how the bread piece sticks off the walls and gathers around the paddle. I suspect that in the case in the photo, the dough remained stuck to the bucket. So, if after the main kneading your stove does not tug at the dough several times, then I can assume that the dough is simply over-acidified. Something like this
Stafa
I once had such bread - I also asked here, I thought that something had happened to the stove. It turned out that the flour is not of high quality, it goes only for baking, but not for bread, the bread at the exit seemed to be 10 days old, the appearance was the same as the loaf is shown now - just exactly. And not only was the flour raw, with the decrease in water, the taste of the bread was still not ice.
marina_f
Guys, tell me! The second day is like my Panasonic 2502.Beauty, the bread is glorious, BUT: in the program, after standing by over-kneading, a loud KNOCK is heard 4 times, it is heard throughout the apartment, and then it works quietly. What is it? This is normal? Or take it back?
Jefry
This triggers the yeast dispenser, which is only available in this model. It is treated only by replacing it with 2501. Or (with loss of warranty) by opening the case and disconnecting.
marina_f
Spasiiiiiiibo ... Now I will think how to treat: is it a diagnosis or a sentence;)
Blackout
And for me, the clicks when the yeast dispenser is triggered is a signal that the batch has begun and that I need to look in to look at the kolobok. Nirazu did not regret choosing 2502
marina_f
When I first (yesterday) heard these "clicks" I qualified them as a wild loud knock. Tense up to the impossibility ... And how did you learn to sleep at night with THIS? Or are you used to it? Whether it is worth changing, FIG knows ... But bakes awesome. Yummy falls out;)

I bought a Panasonic SD-2501WTS bread maker. All bookmarks were made according to the recipe. Pli knead is heard for a long time grinding. Is it some kind of malfunction or can it be granulated sugar grinding ???
Blackout
If I put the bread on in the morning, then on the dumplings mode, I see what kind of bun I get. Then I pour the yeast into the dispenser and set the desired program and time to take out the bread in the morning. I don’t wake up from the operation of the dispenser, apparently for me this sound has become the norm, for example, the inhabitants of the house cease to perceive a clock with a striking

I agree completely! I, too, have already got used to this sound and my family too, no tragedy. As a last resort, you can close the kitchen door at night if this sound really interferes.

the other day I bought a bread maker twice, the bread turned out to be excellent, but today it did not rise, I had to throw it away. Help please, I lost instructions and recipes (a thin book) from a Panasonic 2501 bread maker, and I can't download the instructions on the site, because I press "download" and as a result, the instructions won't open. Maybe send me the instructions in a readable form. Thank you!!!
Lagri
X / furnaces 2501 and 2502 have one instruction, since x / stoves are almost the same, apart from the yeast dispenser and the stainless steel surface, which is not in your stove. The rest is all the same.
Rina
1. For the instruction to open, a program that reads PDF files (for example, Acrobat Reader) must be installed on the computer.

2. If the bread does not rise, then the problem is in the products. Therefore, let's go HERE, we read a multi-colored message to beginners. We carefully study the Baking Guide and the Tale of the Kolobok (all the links are there, they are "clickable").

3. Recipes can and should be taken from our forum - they are verified, rechecked.
Andrzej nov
MDF maybe there is no PDF reader on your computer?

Lagri is not yours, the same instructions are for 2500 and 2501. 2502 alone ...

Lagri
Yes, the instructions for 2502 are the same if you remove the paragraph on using the yeast dispenser.

Check on an empty bucket if it's the same ..
Fly to Japan and put this bucket on the head of the head of Panasonic. So that the cattle think about where to produce their poor goods.

If not so radically, then to a service store.

Good afternoon, members of the forum! Help me to understand! You are experienced people! I have a Panasonic SD-253 bread maker, it has been worth it for several years. For all the time we got bread once, there was a lot of delight! Since then, not a single time has worked out normally.A friend who has the same bread maker constantly pleases her with bread. And I have one disorder. Today I baked with a ready-made mixture, Pounds of butter bread, everything is as written, measured the yeast on an electronic scale, put the very first ones on the bottom, the bottom is dry, then the mixture, then water from a measuring cup from the bread machine. it turned out really bad, I sit and feel sad! : girl_cray: And so every time! Tell me what to do!
Creamy
So you baked from ready-made mixtures? Then no wonder. Try to bake the simplest white flour bread. salt, sugar, oil and water.
and of course. active yeast.
Dina
No, I baked according to a recipe from a Panasonic book, I tried it from a ready-made mixture today, on the advice of friends. So I think maybe my ten is broken?
Lagri
Well, the ten is hardly broken. Then the dough would remain raw. Describe in more detail what is not working. There are many specialists here. They will help.
Andrzej nov
, measured the yeast on an electronic scale,

But why is the scale here ??

good evening, please help, now we are in the village and the Internet is hard to catch, there is no way to look for similar problems, can someone quickly react and help to figure it out, gave us 2502 grandmother for the new year, the first bread was baked rye-wheat, wheat, Borodino from a mixture , everything turned out great, the first time, wheat bread turned out especially gorgeous, it was mainly laid on a timer for the morning, today something incomprehensible happened, wheat bread according to program 01, checked repeatedly, not baked, there was a tough brown crust below, the spatula did not come off , not baked, there is frank dough inside, sticky, small and pale on the top, after that they tried again - the same thing, noticed that a motor or fan was heard before, now it is silent, maybe the hairdryer flew? What do you think? Thank you in advance

Rina
Dinahoney, start with the first message in this thread! Read the Baking Guide, the tale of the kolobok, take a simple recipe - plain wheat bread. Check the dough kneading. And everything will work out.

And leave the mixtures to those who are lazy ...
Dina
I can't post a photo, although I did it, I mixed it well, and that's how I mixed it and it turned out, and I already began to try the mixture out of desperation, but I understood the money thrown away

Quote: Andrzej nov

The stirrer drive seems to have failed.
I do not agree, the drive is fine, otherwise vbuch at the bottom of the bucket, the flour would have remained (I didn’t put in the mixer once).

Dina, you can double-check all the options:
1) as already advised - turn on the Pelmeni program and check the rotation of the scapula.
2) turn on the Baking program for 30 seconds - the heating element will have time to heat up during this time so that when it works correctly, heat will go out of the HP.
3) check the main suspect - yeast. Mix 50g of flour, 60g of water, a piece / pinch of yeast, cover the container with the mixture with a lid (so as not to get windy) and put in a warm place (optimally +28 ... + 34 degrees). Record the time after which the first bubbles appeared and after how many minutes the volume of the mixture increased by 2 and 3 times. Report these values to forum users
4) in fact, there is enough yeast, water and flour for bread ... sometimes rotten flour will come in either with a fungus ... or not baking flour - but even with bad flour, at least something should come up if the stove does not become naughty.
5) the human factor - while awake, you can pour / pour the wrong thing and the wrong place and remember about it only after seeing the result. It happens to everyone
The main thing is not to despair!
Creamy
Liked about the main suspect. But it's true, most often yeast is to blame. Then there are incorrect measurements with glasses of ingredients, which are indicated in the recipe in grams.

Help, semiannual 2500, started tapping on one side, immediately after 14 days, after moving to the other side, it subsided. I bake actively, mainly at night. Then I got carried away with buns in the airfryer. The last time I was kneading the dough in the afternoon, I knocked terribly, the rearrangement did not help, I do not make the dough steep, on the contrary, the bun was smeared. At the bottom, micro chips are black under the bucket. The bucket is dancing in the batch. Before that, I baked 255 for 3 years, at the end the bread began to turn out worse, but such problems did not arise. Bread in 2500 is good, better than in the old one. But the knock is very frightening. What to do Advice is urgently needed. I won't master the whole branch, I'm sorry.
