Cookies Zemelach (with the addition of eggs)

Ingredients

Wheat flour 250 g
Butter 125 g
Sugar 125 g + 2 tbsp. for sprinkling
Egg 1 PC.
Milk 1 tbsp. l.
Salt pinch
Cinnamon 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Mix oil at room temperature with an egg.
  • Add sugar and grind well. You should get a lush mass.
  • Pour in milk and salt.
  • For Zemelach, the dough should be pretty steep.
  • We make them a ball and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • When the time has passed, we take it out and roll it out on parchment paper
  • or foil for baking. Thickness approx 0.7 cm.
  • We cut the layer for the Zemelah cookies with a sharp knife to make rhombuses or squares.
  • Sprinkle sugar on top. Now sprinkle generously with cinnamon. And sugar again.
  • Together with foil (or parchment), transfer to a baking sheet
  • and put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 200 * C.
  • Do not bake for more than 15 minutes, as it will dry out.
  • When taken out of the oven, once again draw the knife along the lines.
  • Let the Zemela liver cool down and put it on a dish.
  • Zemelach biscuits are ideal for coffee, cocoa, tea. The aroma is sweet and spicy.
