Girls, good night. With this sitting at home ... Sick now with an automatic ice cream maker. Please tell me which is better to buy: Brand 3811-3813. Gemlux ICM-2031. Gastrorag ICM-2031.
Nemox Gelato Grand 1.5 l? The price difference isn't huge. Please help with the choice. Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, I forgot. There are two of us. Where to cook small portions. And after what time will it be possible to make ice cream of a different composition?
Knor
I am for nemox. I, however, have a different model.
The bucket is removable there, it's convenient. And portions can be any, as much as you put, and freeze.
Larisa Zakharova
Kiora, thanks for the advice. I ordered Nemox.
Knor
I am very pleased with her. Only in a removable bowl I do, it is convenient to wash it. And in a row, you can also freeze different things.
Larisa Zakharova
Sveta, thank you very much. Yesterday I complained to a friend that I have a bunch of cans of applesauce and I can't make marshmallows. She tells me that you can make ice cream. We found a recipe with very nice scoops of apple cider. And I have before my eyes the second day these delicious balls. I just dream about them. Horror. It's funny. Maybe you know. I have two Ariete ice cream makers, the bowls of which are put in the freezer (I bought them for a summer residence) and somehow my hands do not reach them like that .... And only after reading about ice cream makers, I wondered: is the temperature of the freezer critical? I have a refrigerator at my dacha, in the freezer the temperature is about -8 or -10 degrees. Is this enough to cool the bowls? I so understood Nemox is better not to drag back and forth.

It's definitely not enough, unfortunately. You need -18, otherwise the ice cream will not freeze.
Knor
Larissa, I also thought about the balls, but when I began to make ice cream, I realized by experience that I still needed to freeze after the ice cream maker and in a long trough. After the ice cream maker, the mass is not stone, but soft.
And as for carrying, mine is in the closet, I take it out when I need it. If you take it to the country, then just let it stand for several hours before using. It's a mini freezer. The rules are the same.
Larisa Zakharova
Sveta, thank you. The main thing now is to get to the bank. And I'm afraid that the price will rise. I'll do it tomorrow. Nice day.

Julia, thank you. At home I have a "correct" freezer, but it's all full. So I decided to buy a freezer. The daughter only recently fell in love with ice cream. And I adore him since childhood. I remember the taste when at -18 I bought several portions of different varieties, and secretly ate from my parents on the street. And I didn't get sick! Now you can rarely find tasty ice cream - only a few manufacturers, provided that it is fresh. Have a nice day.
julia_bb
Larissa, and rightly so, if you like ice cream and there is an opportunity, then you need to buy a freezer. I also had a semi-automatic at the beginning, but there is always not enough space in the freezer, since the bowl must be there constantly, it turns out, especially in summer. And here you turn it on and do it, you can make ice cream and lighter sorbets.

Girls, can you tell us more about ice cream with applesauce?
If you missed it, stick it with your nose, pliz.
There is a freezer and unclaimed puree
Thank you in advance

Larissa, Thank you!
But I thought there was a proven recipe specifically for HP or from members of the forum on HP
Can you tell us about cheese?
Larisa Zakharova
Natalia, good evening. On HP there is a theme "Apple cheese" (https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in..._smf&topic=467895.600). I did it for the first time, it came out so "clumsy", but delicious. My friends are all delighted. I finally crawled to the bank. I will order delivery tomorrow. As soon as I get it, I'll try to make ice cream from applesauce. I will write about the results. The only thing is, I can't insert photos. I do not know how to transfer one picture at a time, and there is not enough time to wool the entire array. So you have to take their word for it.
Larisa Zakharova
Good evening. Now we sit tightly on delicious sorbets. How did we live without it before? True, I have not yet gotten to applesauce, but I make it from bananas with additives. Today I will make from kiwi and bananas. The only thing that surprised me was that at some point I added a lot of lemon juice, and the sorbet turned out to be softer. Who can give me advice: to get harder ice cream, you need to take it out of the bucket and put it in the freezer or cook it longer in the freezer? Thank you.
julia_bb
Larisa Zakharova, and how long do you cook sorbet? Until the agitator starts rotating back and forth? Or earlier? You can leave a little more in the ice cream maker with the spatula off, or put it in the freezer, yes.
Larisa Zakharova
Made today: 3 kiwis, two small bananas and a little peppermint syrup. This is so delicious.

Julia, oh. I'll watch next time. I set the minutes to 40. And I run on about my business. If I do it tomorrow, I'll watch everything. And, in general, I am so happy with the purchase. One more observation. I get a more homogeneous mass not in a stationary blender, but when you break it with a submersible. And I always began to add mint syrup from Auchan to kiwi dishes. For some reason, the taste of kiwi intensifies

I'll have to try, interesting. I only cooked sorbet once a long time ago - lemon.
Syrup is just any good to add, it gives the desired soft consistency to the sorbet. In some sorbet recipes, it is recommended to add invert syrup instead of sugar.

I put 40 minutes
Do you set the timer separately? Or do you have an ice cream maker with a timer? In theory, 40 minutes should just be ready, it can be longer, if the mixer continues to spin, it means that it has not thickened enough yet.
Larisa Zakharova
Julia, thank you. I don't put sugar. I have invert syrup. I don't have a timer in my ice cream maker. I got hooked on different combinations with bananas because it is very fast. It's just that the daughter can hardly withstand the self-isolation regime, so there is not enough time. I want to try everything with apple or peach. But they must first be wiped off. Automatic wiping from Ariete will not give the desired consistency. So you have to wipe through a fine sieve. And it seems to me that the combination of peach-banana or apple-banana will not give such an interesting taste - apple / peach puree seems to me without a pronounced taste. I add bananas for density. In principle, if it works out, then I have already bought frozen cranberries (I have not seen anything else in the vicinity) and will make some kind of mix: peach-lime-apple-cranberry. I'll take a look. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to go to Auchan and buy all kinds of frozen fruits and berries.

How did you make lemon sorbet? Thickened with what? It must be delicious.

Yes, when it's hot in summer - lemon sorbet is what you need. I thickened just sugar syrup, where water and sugar 1: 1, lemon juice, zest. You can try to make it with a banana instead of syrup, it will also be nice.
Larisa Zakharova
Thank you.
