Sugar taste

Vanilla sundae 50-60 g

Cooking method

  • We need real and strong juice. If we buy reconstituted, then we season it with lemon juice or red wine (the total amount of liquid should remain 0.5 liters). We sweeten to taste.
  • Dissolve the gelatin in half a glass of juice, combine with the rest, cool, pour into a rectangular tray with a layer of 3-5 mm. We put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
  • Turn the well-frozen jelly onto a cutting board and cut into thin long strips. Using a culinary spatula, grab a few strips and carefully place them with a nest right there on the board.

  • Put the ice cream into portioned vases and leave to melt. With the same spatula, carefully transfer the "nests" onto the melted ice cream. Decorate with a sprig of mint and cherry berries. Serve on the table.

What are the pitfalls.
Do not overdo it with sugar, do not forget that ice cream is sweet too.
I highly recommend shifting the layer of jelly onto the board, it's easier to cut it. Therefore, think in advance how you will remove it from the form.
I have two noodle cutters, but none of them fit. I had to cut it with a knife and the "spaghetti" was not very convincing. And in principle, if the jelly does not obey well, you can simply cut it into cubes, diamonds or triangles. You will get "feathers", "horns", "shells" - also good looking. And you can't tell the taste from "spaghetti" at all.
