  • The watermelon is perfectly sealed in batter, and turns bright pink through a thin layer of dough. Biting off a piece, you get a new taste sensation - the same juicy watermelon, but first, it is preceded by its crispy crust.

Marinayou're just smart. Thanks to you, my watermelon piggy bank has become much richer.

Unusual. I think it's juicy! And the serve ...! Thank you.
Gala
Marina, you walked so thoroughly on watermelons!
I think it's juicy!

Girls - Lena, Natasha, Tanya, Olya, Angela, Gala! Thank you - I'm so glad you dropped by! So it's not in vain, if someone needs it ...

That only did not get up with a watermelon. But to fry it ..

Lenochka, so these are all the Chinese - they all fry and soar.
Remember who studied with the Chinese or lived next to the hostel? They began to fry herring - the smell was unbearable, then fried bananas (this is honey mushroom from them!). We, after all, could not even always buy them - the queues were long, and they - to fry them !!! We thought what a blasphemy it is to be so exasperated over a fruit. Now we fry all the fruits ourselves, caramelize ...

Marina, how does it taste?

And the taste ... Tan! : girl_in_dreams: I didn't have enough salt in the batter, and I added it to the ingredients. Generally delicious! First you take a bite of baked batter - it tastes like a donut. And then eat the watermelon itself, which is still a watermelon - great! The dough is only a very thin layer.

my watermelon piggy bank was enriched.

Ol, and I am so glad - now I won't waste a drop of watermelon juice - everything will go for sorbet, drinks and desserts.

I think it's juicy!

Your truth, Angel! : girl-yes: The juice leaked out nowhere - we first dipped the watermelon into starch, and it's not in vain that ice water is in the batter.

And really - walked ... The funny thing is that these recipes themselves fall on me. I already brush them off already, but if any of them got into the brain - everything, until I cook it, will swarm there, not give rest!
lyudmia
Marina, well, I haven't tried this yet
MariS
Luda, so I, too, had never even guessed about such a dish before!
I recommend a very versatile recipe - any fruit can be fried in batter like that.
dopleta
Oh, how interesting, Marina! And is it true that the watermelon remains juicy? Is the batter crispy? Wow, surprised! About other fruits - understandable, but watermelon? There's 90% juice there ... It's amazing. Thank you, Marinochka!
Rada-dms
Marina, thanks for the recipe, I love Chinese motives! And the caramel is generally well laid down here, you don't always want to bother with full-fledged caramelization! Now I will do it more often!

Why not? Plump watermelon, quick deboning and frying, serve and eat immediately! I think everything will work out.
Tumanchik
And I really liked the recipe! Marish is great how! Last year I saw how someone fried pumpkin flowers in batter. I wanted to repeat everything, but my husband counted all the flowers!

Impudent!

And I will definitely cook a watermelon! After all, soon it will be filled up !!! You're lucky - you're full! And you seduce us!

There is also 90% juice ...

Larissa, and the batter crunches, and the watermelon is juicy. Apparently, the whole point is in preliminary deboning in starch and the use of ice crumbs (a shock occurs with a watermelon and it sits there - in batter, how cute!)
Thanks for your interest in the recipe!

What are you, Irish, do they gorge themselves on watermelon? I can always eat it! And now in different variations ...

Now there will be another recipe with watermelon ... I have already written almost the entire recipe, so suddenly, the Internet has gone somewhere - and start all over again

I love Chinese motives!

Sorry, Olya - somehow I looked at your post! Thanks for stopping by. Chinese motives are everywhere now ... We begin to join. To the bottom there are many interesting things. I was very surprised that the watermelon is so pliable and easy to cook.

Oh, Marinochka! For a very long time I was so attached to them that then for ten years I did not eat anything oriental, although I cooked for the guests. But I love the kitchen, although I have already been disqualified - I cook, but I spy on books and notes. Yes, and there is no good wok.

You are being shy Olenka! Everyone knows what talents you have! It just happens - inspiration comes, and sometimes it leaves ...
Tumanchik
Oh, I beg you, my modest girls .... Look for such housewives as you! Such recipes can be stunned! If I had not participated in the competition, I would have repeated it and did not know grief. Well, nothing will pass, and this - we will repeat! You are great! It is so nice that I know you and can communicate with you. A very short time ago, I looked at your recipes as a spectator and wondered how you can not only do this, but also share it with everyone, and even so beautifully!

Irish, so many compliments that it's time to run to the kitchen helpers and confirm to match ...
Premier
Oh, Marine, what did you confuse in the process - first you bake, then you just roll it out. Or is it supposed to be according to the prescription?
MariS

Ol, in what recipe did you see about rolling? Everything is correct here: first we dip it in batter, then deep-fry it (hot oil).

Here you are, how are you kidding me, fulyugans!
And I'll reread the recipe - look for an error. It turns out that the attentive Olya noticed an error even in her emoticons.

Why a mistake at once, but what if it's some kind of new technology?
From the area unobvious probably? And we will pass by ?!

Yeah, or incredible, but obvious! We will invent something else here ...

Well, that's why I'm not losing my vigilance.
