marika33, Gingi, thanks, I ordered the VC 150!
I read about the welding line that there are problems - I will pick it up, check for smoothness.

When buying, everything was fine, it manifested itself when I used the wet mode. I had to pack a few kg of meat, probably overheated. In principle, the usual mode is quite enough, and you can do without a wet one.
Svart
Gingi, thanks, I will be careful not to overheat.

The vacuum cleaner came, the discount is apparently due to the display case (. Salted and slightly scratched, which, however, did not prevent me from testing it at home.

Tell me, should the vacuum cleaner hum when it is just plugged into the outlet? Such a low-frequency "electric" sound is very audible in silence (.
melanya
Svart, should not. Several Caso models passed through me, they hum only when the pump is working.
Svart
Damn .
We don't have more than 150 in the city, and the 100 is at least 2 thousand more expensive.

I don't want to take the younger models, after all, there is a double seam, the packages are wider, the pump is more powerful, and so on.

I think maybe I can hand over the warranty for repair, let them fix it?
melanya
Svart, VC 10 and VC 11 also have a double seam, bags are also up to 30 cm. And go to the store for a replacement? Let them order from their supplier, bring and change, if there is time to wait
Svart
Are you sure that the VC 10/11 double stitch is done? I've looked and read a few reviews - they seem to say everywhere that it's a single one after all.

The store says that "there is no product, we cannot order anything."
melanya
Svart, I beg your pardon, now I looked: indeed, from 9 to 15 the model is single seam.
And you do not want to look closely at Solis Vac Premium, on ozone it is now just for this money, the reviews on it are quite good. I have a vacuum system from this manufacturer (VACPrestige), I am very pleased with it, it works quieter than Caso. The seam is single, but wide.
Shtebovich
and Solis also has a chamber for collecting liquid.

I have a sound, but it is not very audible, only if you listen.
Double shock is made by Caso packers: 100, 150,200, 250, 300, 350.
Nathalte
Is it really that important, double seam? I just want to take Caso VC 11, but how will it be in everyday use .... I don’t want to dear, I’m afraid it’s another toy, but I want it. And bonuses must be used in mvideo
Tell me what to take and what to look at, please)

Good day everyone. We really need advice on choosing a model of a vacuum unit. Now I'm considering a model: CASO TouchVAC. Also model: Redmond RVS-M020 Bronze / Gray.
Actually, you need a packer: reliable, having the functions of dry / wet packaging, well, and the budget is not space. I would be grateful for your advice.
Khamar
girls, bought CASO TouchVAC. Today I tried to vacuum the pears for the subsequent preparation of sous-vide. and nothing works for me. the bag is sealed without problems, and the air is not sucked out. Well, what could be the problem? my hands are growing from the wrong place?

that's it, figured it out) I'm such a bastard

Good day. I also consider a model of a vacuum cleaner, like yours. How well does it work? My head is already spinning from all the reviews. So far I have outlined two models, but I cannot finally decide.

I just bought it, just figured out what is there and how, because I have never dealt with vacuum sealers before. I vacuumized pears and apples / I liked the result - a high-quality soldering, there is a choice of dry and wet products, a choice of vacuum for ordinary and delicate products /, I have already put it to you. so I am satisfied, but I have no opportunity to compare with other vacuum generators, because this is my first experience of communicating with these devices

And what is the width of the seam? And have you tried wet mode?

Quote: koctill

by the way, I recently purchased this particular model, the wet mode will squirt the current on the way, pumped the barrel from the weighing marinator, solder smooth bags with a crease in 4 layers, what else is needed :), right - a suvidnitsa, a pump from ebay is already on its way for 5tyr., and so already the meat for ham, and marinated barbecue, and the hips are now ripening, I've tried everything, in short I'm satisfied.

Good day. Tell me: how does your model of a vacuum cleaner show itself in work? You seem to have been able to see it at work for more than one month.
Khamar

joint width 3 mm, wet mode has not yet been tried
Trendy
I also have such a vacuum cleaner. I tried all the modes, completely satisfied with my native packages.
GV77
Girls, thanks for the answers. And then she already called the stores, but there is the same principle: which is more expensive). I just don't want to waste money, and even more expensive models have negative reviews. Therefore, I was looking for a model, which is still reliable, not an option, for a month and throw it away. I would like to clarify: does this model handle wet mode? I mean, when there is sauce in the bag, for example. And if you checked, then I would also like to clarify by packages: is it possible to use the roll version of Status (they are still cheaper), or only relatives can be used.

Corrugated.
I have a different Caso model. Status rolls perfectly vacuum and seal.

Of course you can, and even need it. I only use the roll status.
I really like these rolls.
Khamar

I don’t know, because I bought the vacuum generator quite recently and so far I have only used my relatives that were included. above they write that the Status is corrugated, which means I will switch to them if they are cheaper

Olga, it is cheaper to buy Status rolls, they are more economical than bags.
GV77
Natalia K., Khamar, Gingi, Trendy, Girls, thanks for your attention to my questions. Ordered: CASO TouchVAC packer + 2 types of Status rolls. True, a packer with 1 type of rolls 20X300cm will be delivered tomorrow (made with delivery), but I will receive 28X300cm only on May 5 (not in stock). It is a pity that the packer package itself also includes 20X200cm, I will try wide rolls later. I hope that the choice of this model of the packer will not disappoint (while I was placing the order I was struggling with the desire to buy Solis). In general, I'm waiting for delivery tomorrow and will start testing.
Nathalte
GV77, I am waiting for a detailed review
I've already been in my basket for a month, waiting)

Solis very girls praise on our forum. There is even a separate topic for this packer.
I hope that CASO TouchVAC will not disappoint.

GV77, please write in your profile what your name is. And then by nickname it is not comme il faut to communicate

Therefore, I "fought" because I read the topic on Solis, but did not dare to risk an expensive purchase. I looked for other reviews of real owners on Solis, alas, I did not find.
And I hope the Caso purchase doesn't disappoint too.

Nathalte, I will write a review without fail. I still have a favor for this site for the Marcato noodle cutter, after reading the reviews, here, I decided to buy on Amazon.
GV77
Good day everyone! Today I received my CASO TouchVAC and with it for the time being one package of rolls Status (20x300), I will receive a larger size only after May 5.
Immediately I carried out the first test in operation, while in the mode with vacuuming dry products, I will do wet later. I packed the turnip for testing in a bag made from a roll of Status, my relatives did not even touch it yet. It was important for myself to understand how the package from the Status roll would behave. I liked the result

Congratulations on your purchase!
I have not tried making suvid yet. On the contrary, the Redmond multicooker is idle, I want to try it in it.
As for the packer: I have not yet tried the "wet" vacuuming mode, but vegetables and smoked meats are vacuumized by Ura. On the day of purchase and delivery, my husband returned from a business trip (from Tyumen), brought northern delicacies: venison, roe deer, wild boar, bear meat, different fish - the purchase turned out right into the subject. Everything was evacuated, and before - in such cases, there was a problem, you had to quickly eat everything. Now I will master the modes and determine what can be evacuated with this packer, and what is not.
I will post the results of the tests here, maybe it will be useful for someone - for certainty with the purchase (from myself I know how bad it is when information is not found).
Nathalte
GV77, it will be very useful.

I have a CASO Touchvac model, I use the Status rolls - no problems so far, I use them for ordinary vacuuming, I have not tried freezing in them yet. In theory, your model should also be approached, but if I'm wrong, then let others correct it.

and I have these bags after a while unvacuumed (I tried to vacuum it again already in my own bags, I'll see how long they will hold the vacuum. I also have CASO Touchvac
GV77
Khamar, nadusha, I also had one status package failed yesterday (moreover, the one in the photo with the turnip I have above, in the message). I can't say that the vacuuming of the bag is broken, but the bag is puffed up. Perhaps this is what they warn about (read) that products like cabbage, emitting gas during such storage, can inflate the bag. I tried to press on the bag swollen with a turnip - the air does not come out, but it's still unpleasant. I will also try to make a double seam to compare.
I also have a question for those who used the Status packages for long-term storage, through freezing: how do they behave with such storage of products, do they not crack, does the sealing break? Itself is still a novice user of CASO Touchvac only a month.

I also use a vacuum cleaner recently.for the sake of experiment, I vacuated 2 lemons, 2 oranges and meat. I put 1 lemon and 1 orange in the fruit-vegetable compartment, the others in the freezer, like the meat. those that were in the compartment for vegetables and fruits - were evacuated, air began to appear inside, although everything is in order with the seams. Those lemons and oranges that were in the freezer - everything is fine with them, as well as with meat
GV77
Good day everyone! A month ago, I packed the turkey and quail in status packages and sent it to freeze (-18 C). So far everything is fine, the vacuum is kept. Vacuum Caso Touchvac, Status packages, and one (with quails) -reuse (after use). Information for those who doubt the use of non-native packages, because I know from myself, there were doubts.Vacuum sealers Caso
natka257
I have been using Status rolls with a Caso vacuum for several years now. There were no problems. They fit and are more economical than native ones. I only underwent de-vacuumization in one case - if the "attachment" was with sharp edges or protruding bones and the bag was simply pierced during evacuation. Naturally, after that, air or water could get into it, if we are talking about cooking these products in sous vide. As for the turnips, it was somewhere in this topic that there are products that, during storage, emit gas and their evacuation is not particularly effective. Offhand I remember something about cabbage, bananas, maybe something else. Perhaps this is just your case. Plus, you still need to understand that if you are trying to keep fresh vegetables and fruits in a vacuum, not frozen, then all the processes of additional ripening, spoilage, liquid-gases release, etc. continue to take place in them, just some are slowed down by vacuum. A long-term vacuum is ideal for freezing, dried fruits and other groceries - that is, for what is "stopped", dried, etc. As for vacuum storage of fresh live food at room temperature or in the usual compartment of the refrigerator, it is still short-term storage, usually longer than without vacuum, but not much. Remember canning - the can is rolled up and air does not get into it, but if the contents are poorly sterilized, then it will deteriorate. And you cannot sterilize fresh food a priori before putting it in a vacuum, there is no such task. So the bacteria keep working, just more slowly. Plus, as mentioned above, gas-emitting products, in principle, will not lie down.
Sibelis
Why does Caso have so many models? It is absolutely impossible to understand and choose. In addition to 100, 200, 300 and 150, 250 and 350, there are now 220, 280, 380, 480 ... What to take?
aleksandra
I have a Caso Touch, who can tell me how to close the VAC lids using a Gochu hose and my vacuum cleaner. the hoses do not fit together, you need some kind of adapter. If it exists, then tell me where to get it
Sibelis
aleksandra, does the hose not stick into the socket on the vacuum drawer?
aleksandra
the hose from the caso is stuck into the vacuum unit, but I cannot connect the hose from Gochu to it. because the ends of the hoses are the same (visually) and they do not fit in any way. One end of the Gochu hose butts against the Wax cap, and the other does not fit with the CASO hose
Sibelis
aleksandra, you do not need to connect two hoses, you need to remove the tip from the Caso hose and put it on the Gochu hose, having previously also removed the tip from it.

I just did it with the Solis vacuum system - everything worked out great and works with Wax lids with a bang!
And also my vacuum caps came - I generally eat food with delight! Beautiful, and stick tightly, to the plate, to the table, even with a vacuum pump, even with a hand pump. True, the smallest sticks in so much that I can't tear it off, even without a vacuum

No, well, a brilliant thing, girls!
aleksandra
Thanks, I'll try tomorrow

How to shoot? Do they have the same diameter?
Sibelis
aleksandra, I haven't seen the Kasovsky hose, but, in my opinion, there is the same principle: the elastic tube is stretched over the tip. This tip just needs to be pulled firmly towards you and it will come off. At least with Gochu for sure
And you have both tubes in stock - you can compare the diameter.

aleksandra, here was another photo, message # 1937

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...com_smf&topic=424130.1920

There is another cacique, but maybe it looks like.
aleksandra
Both hoses have the same principle: an elastic tube inside the handpiece. If I pull out the pipe, then where is the guarantee that I will stick it where necessary. Break down, don't build

Thanks for 1937, I looked, we will try.
Sibelis
aleksandra, no, not the hose inside the tip, but the tip inside the hose.
aleksandra
Looked at 1937, did the same, everything worked out. Stunned. Thanks everyone for the info. Thank you again.
