Alycha, check the hose, is it fully inserted into the socket?
I have a Caso300, I do not close the lid.

Good afternoon, I just can't decide between two models: CASO GourmetVAC 480 and Caso FastVAC 500. In the first one attracts the presence of a removable chamber for liquid, but the automatic fixation of the lid is a little embarrassing (is it reliable and convenient?), In the second, I like the convenient locking handle when closing-opening, but the camera is not removable there, and the difference in power does not matter. What do you think about this?
ostapchukgena
Why do you need a removable camera? I never got anything in my 500, but if it does, then remove the liquid with a napkin is a matter of minutes
PS: the 500 has a convenient and reliable lid locking system
the 500 indicated the vacuum level, and the 480 did not even find it in the instructions, and this is the most important characteristic of the device. all cheap vacuum machines are just a toy for vegetables. for meat professionals recommend -0.95,
500 gives -0.90
Marika33
rnr1010, I removed the removable camera in my vacuum apparatus, it bothers me. If three drops fall into the hollow, I wipe it with a napkin, it's more convenient for me than washing the entire camera.

Gennady, Marina, thank you very much for your prompt answers! I ordered the 500th.

I have a Kazo 100. I'm very happy with it.
But recently, when I want to evacuate the product, then at first, as expected, a vacuum is formed. And then the sealing should automatically turn on. But it hasn't been activated automatically lately. You have to press the sealing button manually.
Have you ever had this? If so, is it possible to fix this problem and how?

Good day to everyone.
Today I received a CASO FastVAC 500. It turned out with a big discount.
A very handy thing. The handle is easy to close and open, almost effortlessly. Double seam. A bunch of modes.
Tried a sleek bag for a chamber vacuum sealer. I inserted a corrugated piece from the package that comes with the vacuum cleaner inside. This piece can be seen in the upper left corner of the bag in the photo. Everything is packed.
Vacuum sealers Caso
I tried GOCHU vacuum caps.
However, the hose from the packer kit is not enough. Need a GOCHU hose or adapter.
I used the hose from the packer Sea-maid GN 1108. It is analogous to GOCHU.
Also tried zip packages.

And by the way, ZIP packages are easily evacuated using the GOCHU hose. No special adapter required.

I recommend CASO FastVAC 500!
P.S. Not advertising!

I apologize, I did not see that I did not indicate the model. There was a choice between Caso touchvac - Caso 11.
But in the end I ordered Profi Cook 501146, I don't know, maybe in vain.

Why in vain. The main thing is to suit the functionality. There seems to be no container handling.

It just seems.
At first I also took cheap Chinese. So in six months, only 15-20 sacks were exhausted. Sous-vide mostly and slightly frozen.
And now I use a packer every day.
There are many cucumber / tomato / apple pickle recipes here ... For example. It is more convenient to make them in Zip packages. Salted, tasted, it seemed a little, evacuated and further salt.
It is also better to store coffee beans under vacuum. Fresh greens ...
There are many applications ...

movnk, I wanted a vacuum cleaner for a long time, I asked my husband for my birthday, not expensive. Well, and there it will be seen what and how. The main thing is to work, otherwise reading the reviews, I see that many have a problem with the sealing line. I have already looked in the internet to see if it is possible to buy a repair kit, just in case, but let's hope that we are lucky.

We need special ones. They have a valve for air evacuation.
There was a video on the network where Kulibin pumped air out of an ordinary Zip-bag through a straw, and then quickly pulled it out and fastened the fastener ...
Looking
Good day! I just can't understand the differences between the two models, in my opinion the information from the manufacturer's website does not give an understanding of the differences.
1.Vacuum sealer CASO FastVAC 500 🔗
2.Vacuum sealer CASO FastVAC 1200 🔗
If I understood correctly, then:
1.Does the 500 have a pickling mode but the 1200 does not?
2.Vacuum seems to be identical - 0.9 bar.
3. The 1200 has a "very wet" mode, while the 500 has an "extra long" mode - wet or liquid foods with an extra long sealing time. Is this the same mode? Or two different modes?
4.Does 1200 have a built-in dial gauge, how much is it needed in practice?

How does 1200 cost more than 500? What are its advantages?

For some reason, the information on the manufacturer's website is not presented very clearly. I had to collect bit by bit from other sources, because many sites copy only what is indicated on the manufacturer's website according to the template.
As a result, I have the following opinion, possibly wrong. Maybe someone in the know will read and confirm or refute my speculations.
So, as it seems to me. The CASO FastVAC 500 model can only work with corrugated bags, while the CASO FastVAC 1000, 1200 and higher models can work with smooth bags. At the same time, CASO FastVAC 500 is top-end in the line that can work with corrugated bags, therefore it has a built-in container for a roll of film and a pickling mode, and the CASO FastVAC 1000, 1200 models are the initial ones in the line that can work with smooth bags, so they do not have a container for a roll of film and pickling mode, these options appear in more expensive models of this line - 3000 and above.
Thus, CASO FastVAC 500 is the top among corrugated bags with full "minced meat" options in the form of a built-in container for a roll of film and pickling mode, and CASO FastVAC 1000, 1200 are the initial models among smooth bags, so they have no full "mince" options, it starts at model 3,000.
I came to such conclusions, in particular, based on the fact that the link about 1200 indicates 🔗
Type of bags for packaging: smooth
but about 500 is silent about the type of packages 🔗
At the same time, photo 500 shows exactly a corrugated package, and 1200 does not have a package at all (oh, and ciphers, rebuses).
according to German-language video reviews on YouTube, it seems that the 500 also has a corrugated package, and the 1200 is not very clearly visible, but it looks like a smooth package.
kolobashka
Good ladies.
I remember there was such a vacuum apparatus as a hairdryer or a pistol))) Not at hand, I don't remember the model. She asked Shtebovich, did not answer.
Are such packages suitable for him or not?

🔗

Looking
I am a beginner, as far as I understand - smooth bags are cheaper and easier to buy, that is, there will be savings on consumables. but there seems to be a trick with a cocktail tube, which allows the use of smooth bags on the evacuator for corrugated bags, however, to what extent this is a full-fledged replacement - I do not know if the same quality is obtained as on the evacuator designed by the manufacturer for smooth bags, or if the vacuum quality is significant worse. and the second point - you need to understand at what volumes of use of consumables-bags the difference in price between the evacuator for corrugated bags and for smooth bags will pay off. that is, to recoup the purchase of a more expensive flat bag vacuuming machine, a number of cheaper smooth bags must be used to recoup the large initial investment in a smooth bag vacuuming machine.

Quote: Looking
and CASO FastVAC 1000, 1200 are the initial models among the smooth packages, so they have no full "stuffing" options, it starts from model 3000.
I came to such conclusions, in particular, based on the fact that the link about 1200 indicates 🔗
Type of bags for packaging: smooth
seems to be wrong, in another source written for CASO FastVAC 1200
For packaging, only STRUCTURED film in rolls or ready-made packages of no more than 30 cm in width and length can be used as required
so what is the reason for the higher price of the CASO FastVAC 1200 compared to the CASO FastVAC 500 I still cannot understand. can it be designed for higher vacuum volumes due to a more resourceful motor?

so far only the following has been found about the CASO FastVAC 500
I have been using FastVac500 for half a year now and am generally satisfied with the work.
It is simple to operate, the pump is powerful, it seals perfectly. It is hardly suitable for streaming use - when overheating, the fuse is triggered (somewhere 10-15 cycles in a row), and you need to wait a minute for the welding bar to cool down. The tray cannot be removed, unfortunately, but cleaning it is not a problem either. But there is a film cutter and a section for storing the roll.
Overall a good appliance that helps a lot in the kitchen
maybe this is the answer, if we assume that 1200 does not have such a fuse and is able to perform more continuous operations. but 10 - 15 cycles in a row is enough for me. mischievous producer, confuses, darkens, so much time has already been killed because of him.

There is no direct indication of the differences, but indirectly the guesses are confirmed.
1. By the difference in the modes of evacuation, the first two modes coincide, and in the third mode, either it is really different, or is described in different ways
CASO FastVAC 500
"Extra long" (extra lang) - for damp evacuated product or product with
liquid, with extra long sealing time.
CASO FastVAC 1200
"double" mode - for wet or liquid-containing vacuum material when welding the film with a double seam.

2. Pickling mode
CASO FastVAC 500 has a pickling mode
7 Marinating: For marinating in a vacuum vessel.
and in CASO FastVAC 1200 this mode is absent

3. Well, the packages
CASO FastVAC 500 states
7.6 Bag and roll. Please note that a vacuum sealer with sealing plate, like this device, can in principle only work with structured film bags.
CASO FastVAC 1200 does not have this phrase.
7.5 Bags and rolls
That is, this restriction for the CASO FastVAC 1200 is not directly indicated, but it is not directly indicated the possibility of using smooth packages. At the same time, by design, isn't it also a sealer with a sealing plate? It is not clear why the phrase about the need for a structured film is excluded from the CASO FastVAC 1200 instruction. Can CASO FastVAC 1200 really work with an unstructured film and due to what design differences this is achieved.

studied the manufacturer's website for other countries
🔗
🔗
revealed the following differences
CASO FastVAC 500 has a "2x * 15L" badge
Double piston pump with a capacity of 15 liters per minute
Double piston pump power 15 liters per minute
although hereinafter 20 liters per minute appears everywhere

CASO FastVAC 1200 has a phrase in the description
Double piston pump and powerful motor for heavy duty & continuous professional use
Twin piston pump and powerful engine for heavy duty and continuous professional use
the CASO FastVAC 500 does not have this phrase.

perhaps the difference really is precisely in the possibility of continuous use with CASO FastVAC 1200. I did not find anything about the difference in packages (corrugated, smooth) on this site.

spoke by phone with a Russian representative 🔗
bags for both models need corrugated, since both models are tubeless. otherwise, they did not name any clear differences in the numbers, but they said that the 1000th series for more continuous use, designed for longer continuous operation, and most likely the vacuuming speed will be faster and the vacuuming stronger.
I have the opinion that, judging by the declared parameters, the force and speed of vacuum will be approximately the same, and the main difference is the duration of continuous operation. above cited a quote from the user that the 500th should be allowed to cool down after 10-15 operations, and the 1000th most likely can do without technological downtime longer.

Looking
an urgent question - the original CASO containers are relatively expensive, so I look towards other container manufacturers, for example 🔗
BUT I don’t know if the hose connection of the CASO vacuum unit is compatible with the connection of containers from other manufacturers? In particular, in the case of wonderlife, they sell their own hand pump for their containers, whether their fittings are only suitable for their pump, or under almost any vacuum apparatus? what are the manufacturers' policies in this area? Are they trying to do it universally under a single standard in order to expand the pool of buyers, or vice versa - does each manufacturer make its own sizes and shapes of fittings so that buyers are tied in accessories only to their products?

And in general, I am more impressed by glass and ceramic dishes as they are more hygienic and inert compared to plastic, are there such options for containers made of glass or ceramics that are compatible with CASO vacuum drawers?

Quote: Looking
an urgent question - the original CASO containers are relatively expensive, so I look towards other container manufacturers, for example 🔗
I got through to them, they said that they themselves did not try, but according to the customers, their containers are not suitable for vacuum pumps, that is, they only work with their pump, although at one of the trading floors I read the following review about the container of this manufacturer.
A great container that really holds a vacuum (I have an electric vacuum gauge from another company). And the price is sooo adequate compared to analogues. Avocado in it does not darken for several days. The salad stays fresh for about 5 days! The size is quite small, fits 2 avocados. I will definitely order other volumes
but the review is single, so I don’t know who to believe. maybe on the forum who came across in practice? which containers from other manufacturers are suitable for the CASO vacuum unit?

Are there any practical uses for ZIP packages? does it make sense to spend money on them? Or do they fail quickly enough and do not have time to justify themselves? after all, their price can include several rolls of disposable lime bags. Who uses ZIP packages and for what purposes?
Looking
it looks like native CASO containers are not very reliable
disadvantages
unreliable valve design the lid does not attach to the can when fragile material is not under vacuum
Comment
1. Fragile covers! When not under vacuum, they just lie on the can, NOT fixed! This is a huge minus: One lid fell when they just took the jar from the shelf - a piece broke off the edge. Now, when creating a vacuum, when the lid is attracted to the can, the silicone seal protrudes in this place, as a result, after an hour the can will be depressurized. One ejection cap! 2. The second cover just stopped holding vacuum after 2 months of use. It is intact, but immediately after evacuation it begins to slowly suck in air through the same hole for the hose (you check - it sucks your finger). After 15 minutes there is no vacuum, and the lid JUST LIES on the can again! Probably, the first one fell for the same reason ... The second lid was released! In total, out of 3 cans in the set, only one functions. Extremely unsatisfactory result! And so nothing, the banks are beautiful; ((
Can you please tell me if there are universal reliable containers that will fit the CASO vacuum degasser?

Looking, I have redmond, and containers are caso. Unambiguously fit, and the plastic is better than Redmond's containers.
And just advice to everyone: if the lids do not hold a vacuum, then you just need to degrease the gum on the lid (very delicately).

I have redmond, and containers are caso.
How long have they been in operation? like the valves are not very strong? as with ZIP-packages, and after a while they begin to "poison" the air, that is, the seal will not help here if the valve itself began to let air through.
I played around with these CASO ZIP packages. Dear ones, sometimes the second time it starts to poison the air because of a weak valve. So it's not reusable.Plus I found only one, and then controversial - because of the camera - adapter is more convenient to vacuum wet food.
smslisa
There are no such packages. The idea of washing the bags was not impressed.
I have Redmon containers about 6 years old. The first one failed after two years, the second sometimes holds - sometimes not, the third still works. Caso bought containers a year ago. Eleven months later, one of the containers stopped holding vacuum. I turned .., but I turned to many people, no one answered intelligibly. Whether it is a warranty case or not, the question is still open. And only on the Comfort website, the maximum was answered that the container can not hold a vacuum for reasons: cracks, abrasions, and even microscopic ones, as well as product residues due to careless care. Since the containers are constantly in use, the care is gentle, since I took into account all the mistakes of the care of the previous containers, I have left as a version the leftovers of products. A detailed examination revealed droplets of oil that had already frozen between the layers of the gum. I had to carry out the degreasing procedure.
The valves do not hold if they are completely immersed in water, God forbid with food leftovers, it is no longer possible to get oil from the valve. Water also does not dry out completely, if you constantly dry it on a battery, the film inside (I don’t know what it’s called) is deformed. In general, the covers are shown gentle manual care immediately after use. Protect containers and lids from drops and crushing. How do I know everything? I disassembled one lid into pieces to understand the principle of operation and the reasons for the failures. I regret it a little, it could have been revived and made to work.
The “breathing” of the product also affects the period of holding the vacuum. For example, the lid that “I want to keep it, I want to not,” is opened on the second day with sausage and cheese, on the fifth with salad, and the marinade with meat is kept until victorious.
I also have one Status cover. So the instructions clearly indicate that you need to degrease the surface, but it does not have rubber bands. I dream of buying a set, but it was discontinued. (
If you are thinking about which containers to buy, then take Caso. They are the best of all that are on sale. On Ozone or Auchan, you can track at 2400.
(about the above tip, there are handovers everywhere. Store containers in the lower drawer, put the lid with the top, then it does not fall, and you will be happy)

The courier brought me a CASO 500. I am somewhat puzzled by the presence of defects on the case. I ask others to evaluate - how much is this the norm for this manufacturer? There are scratches on both the back and the front, there are seizures on the back of the lid. The photo, of course, does not convey scratches well, but with an eye, especially in sunlight, they can be clearly seen. I would like to understand - is this typical for this manufacturer? Or is it a counterfeit, a display sample, a product after repair? Because, on the one hand, these defects do not affect the direct work, but they spoil the presentation, suddenly, over time, you will have to sell, it will be more difficult to sell. And if this is a mass phenomenon for these devices, then it makes sense to try to search better if they are all about the same?

During my extremely short-term experience of using the CASO 500, it seemed to me extremely inconvenient that in the mode of using the hose it is necessary to hold the pump button all the time so that it evacuates air, since I tried to use the hose together with ZIP-packages, and it would be much more convenient to press hose to the package valve, and with the other hand spread the package inside, press the valve to the hose on the other side, etc. That is, it really bothered me that one hand was always busy pressing the pump button, since I just had to stop pressing the button like the pump stops working. Is this how all vacuumizers work? Or are there options when you turned on the pump and both hands are free?
