Thank you! It is very inconvenient to get Redmond out often. I want to try with Caso. I really like the technique and coffee makers, etc.
Shtebovich
Vladimir, but this is also not ideal.
Status containers and a mechanical hand pump will be more convenient.

Pump Status for Caso / Redmond banks will not work.

Help me figure it out. I can't pump out the air in the caso 200. I’m probably made of wood, but the instructions say that the bag may not be placed correctly in the vacuum chamber. And how does this camera look in the packer. There is such a transparent container, it can be removed. I watched the video. But it never reaches me.
Samopal
Congratulations, you have one of the best vacuum drawers for the kitchen. The transparent container is used to evacuate damp products (pickled meat, etc.). If you are vacuuming dry food, you can remove it. The bag must be properly straightened so that it enters the chamber without folds. Watch the video on YouTube. If something is not clear, write again, we will help
Vladimir63
Tell me. I bought a manual Caso vacuum cleaner. Includes two plugs and a black plastic thing that looks like a pin. The instructions do not say anything about her. What is it for? And how do you evacuate Caso containers? Need to remove the nozzle and just apply it to the container?
Vesta
Vladimir63, I did not have such a thing, it is difficult to determine without a photo, but maybe this is in order to tightly close the packages. Doesn't that sound like it?

Vladimir63, wine stoppers, very convenient, stored longer. And this thing is for closing the bags, although, in my opinion, it is more convenient with your hands.
Vladimir63
And why then there is a hole in the middle and a round convex nipple inside. And with a hole inside.
LisaNeAlisa
Vladimir63, the upper blotch with a funnel is removed from the gun and the nozzle of the gun is inserted into the hole in the plug for air evacuation.

Seemed to be confused in concepts

This "clothespin" is to button up the zip-fastener on the top of the bag, and the "hole" - so that, by attaching a pump to it, pump out the air from the closed, as the girls put it, the bag.
Vladimir63
Anya, you're wrong. These clothespins are not needed to vacuumize zip bags. Didn't anyone have this device in the kit? Tomorrow morning I'll call the official Caso office and ask. Then I'll write to you.
Kestrel
Vladimir63, in principle - of course not needed. Without it, they are perfectly evacuated. They put it just for the convenience of closing the zip, that's all. Many people find it more convenient to use a clothespin on the fastener. But not everyone. And people get along fine without it. It's just that the manufacturer thus, like, creates additional convenience, that's all. These also go to Ikeevsky non-vacuum zip-bags. For comfort.
Csscandle
I don't remember if I had a clothespin, I put the bag on the table and pass it with a champagne cork). But I close the bags with my own clothespin.

I wrote exactly that)
A clothespin to make it more convenient to tightly close the zip-fastener of the package.
And about the hole in the cork for the bottle, it is for pumping air so that the wine is stored longer.

Vladimir, you got everything right. Clothespin for easy closing of bags.Previously, it was not included in the kit.
Vladimir63
Anya, you were right. This is a clothespin for closing bags.

Tell me. What is the warranty for Caso packers? The kit seems to include a piece of paper that you can extend the warranty.

Isn't an adapter suitable for closing zip bags for Wax lids?

Vladimir63, I usually leave it charging overnight. The light is on continuously.

I want to buy a hand pump CASO MyVAC 20. Dear owners of such a pump, please tell me, how do you cope if you need to vacuumize meat with marinade for sous vide? Does he have some kind of protection against the ingestion of liquid from the meat? Otherwise I'm afraid I wouldn't have broken. Please tell us, does not liquid get into it?
LisaNeAlisa
Valeria, all the liquid enters the chamber, where it does not directly pump into the pistol, but through the nozzle-cap with a suction cup screwed in front. The nozzle can be removed and washed.
Elijah
I choose a vacuum cleaner, I have never used it before. I lean towards Caso VC 10 or 11. Interested in the moment of compatibility - will these models allow using zip packages? There is a Caso VC ZIP Adapter Set on sale, including zip bags and an adapter, will it fit the 10th or 11th model? The photo of the devices seems to show a "pimp" where you can put the hose, the question is whether they will work with the lid open.
GALLAACTIC
Elijah, here, on YouTube there is a video, there at 56 seconds they just show how a vacuum cleaner with a container works. Yes, air is evacuated from the container when the lid is open!
Elijah
As a result, I ordered Caso TouchVac, if I don’t change my mind on Saturday I’ll go to pick it up from the store, after receiving the experience of handling I will write my impressions from the pictures, those characteristics of TouchVac have a twin brother in the person of Kitfort 1502, not only Russian comrades like to buy oem equipment in the Middle Kingdom

I need help with the Caso 10 packer. I bought it, not suspecting that I would not be able to pack the "wet" products. Of course, it's her own fault, it was necessary to conduct more thorough marketing ...
I've already read this whole forum!
I know that the bag needs to be hung below the vacuumator. But that doesn't help. The liquid is drawn in anyway.
Now I want to try vacuuming with an inner bag.
I just didn't quite understand how to do it correctly. Should the inner bag be folded? How to position it correctly?
Tatka1
Ketlin, I will not say about the inner bag, but I just cut it off from the roll with a decent margin and then, in the process of vacuuming, "hang". This is the only way to save myself from getting liquid. After use, I wash the bag, degrease it and use it again a couple of times.

Yes, whatever, as long as the liquid is not drawn out of it.

Yes, I tried that too. For example, when pickling cucumbers. She put only 3 cucumbers in a 20 × 30 bag. While shaking the bag, juice came out). The package hung, but when the air was pumped out, the liquid quickly crawled upward, which did not allow the package to be sealed normally. It turns out that it was necessary to stop the vacuuming manually ahead of time?

Well, in general, is it necessary to fold the inner bag or not? Does it really help?
I'm not even talking about a lot of liquid. For example, you need to pack boiled beets. Or sliced pineapple.
I am very sorry that I did not buy a wet mode vacuumator ((.

I plan to pack mostly moist (meat for sous vide), I don't understand why the hundredth is twice as expensive ...

Nobody helped, well, okay, they decided on their own: they chose CASO VC 100.
At the same time, I got a luxurious kish-mish ...
I ask you to share your experience, did anyone vacuum the grapes on the brush?
I would like to save it to NG)))

it seems that only I have such a machine, so I will continue the monologue:
I took off the grapes from the brush, scattered them in an even layer in a bag, from the first attempt to seal with the breach because of the juice that got in (a drop was found in the container).
The attempt was repeated three more times, the sealing was uneven due to the sucked juice ... the grapes looked whole.
We got out of the situation by re-sealing after the mode: vacuum + sealing. Now it is hermetic.
Impressions about the device: the bag sucks confidently, but the suction through the hose, as we understood, does not work for us: it still sucks from the chamber from the inside, although we select the external "container" mode.
The device is neat, but it's scary to press the plastic with an effort every time and the packages in the kit are sooo small and narrow, normal ones have healed.
leia878
Dear members of the forum, tell me, I looked through it, did not find a similar problem, I vacuumed the beef at the caso 350, the liquid from the meat gets in, on the one hand the bag does not seal, I somehow got drunk, I did it in the mode for wet products, the bags are my own, and then I saw the meat, the bag sold out (((is it a marriage? Or is it because of the liquid that it does not seal well? There seems to be not a lot of liquids, but it was still in the collection.

leia878, see how you can hold the package. It should hang off the table, upright.

leia878, put a layer of paper towel in the bag, the juice will be absorbed and will not interfere with the sealing! If there is not much water. The second seam does not always work. And the towel is very even!

It seems to me that this is for freezing and storage, but not very suitable for sous vide.

Did I understand correctly ?:
1) In order to use the Caso MyVAc 20 pump with Status containers, do you need an adapter from Gochu vacuum pumps?
2) Is there anyone from Belarus? (in our country in general, a hike, what horseradish you can buy ... no skis with boots, no kitchen appliances. The same thing in all stores, there is no choice, 1-2 positions and that's it)
There is where to buy Caso MyVAc 20 and its impractical in shape containers and containers for kirkoff and ... that's all. The status of containers is to find a problem, and in general other options))) Either laugh, or cry.
Is it really possible to buy an adapter from Gochu in Belarus? (not by weight in gold)

Hello everyone!
While it was frosty, I managed to sort out my freezer. I was unpleasantly amazed at how badly the products were frozen, which lay for several months.
In general, I seriously thought about the vacuum generator.I read the Internet, found a discount Caso VC 150 for 6 thousand rubles.
Climbed here, but here about him, it turns out, there are no reviews.
Is he bad in some way?
What is the difference between all these vacuumizers? And I still did not understand whether a "wet" mode was needed, if in the end, judging by the forum, the device still pumps out moisture and the seam is not normally soldered.

Marika33
Svart I have a Caso300, it differs from 150 only in the lid. The 150 has a stainless steel, and the 300 has a plastic one. For 6 thousand rubles a packer? Don't hesitate to buy!

Why is it immediately bad, it's just that people are happy with everything. I have had this for over a year, I also bought it at a discount. It copes with its task, it is very convenient that there is an additional insert in case something leaks. The only thing that does not bother a lot is that there are small bulges on the welding line, sometimes it boils strongly and small holes appear until the tightness is not affected.
