WELL TO WASH IT IS NOT SO AND IT'S DIFFICULT, TO DRAIN THE WATER, TO RINSE IT AND I DO MY WORKS EVERY 2 WEEKS. AND DISCS IN RUNNING WATER FROM THE SHOWER.
jane
My assessment after two weeks of using the sink.
The most important thing is that for the first winter I don't comb my legs and back in blood (sorry for the details) from dry air. Immediately I will make a reservation - perhaps an ordinary humidifier would be enough for this.
Dust is REALLY less, very noticeable in my one-room apartment with windows on the avenue Double-glazed windows helped only from the noise, and with dust I did not know what to do at all, so washing is a way out for me.
They broke off with aromatization, but I'll also try to buy some other oil, maybe it's the case.
I personally do not hear the noise produced by the sink in quiet mode, although it is a meter and a half to my head during sleep.
Bottom line: was it worth 14 thousand honestly - I DON'T KNOW. But since there was a gift - I rejoice
jane
I also forgot - not a single almost needle has fallen from the spruce delivered on December 28, Either the spruce is good, or because of the humidity ...

What do you think about such a purifier for our humidifiers
My friend was so praised ... maybe someone has?

For a long time I have been suffering from a lack of moisture (especially in the morning, as if with a hangover ... in those moments when not with a hangover), but I began to consider this problem in detail only with the birth of my daughter, you just a couple of weeks ago.

Looked at Yandex - subjectively like electrolux and Boneco. The cost for both is about 5-8t. R. Tell me, is there enough humidifier for a small kopeck piece by volume? Where can you look them in the face? I went shopping - there is nothing in the M-video at all (I was in three stores), in Technosila and Expert too ... Where are they sold at all?

It is necessary to go to the market of household appliances, to "Rizhskaya" or "Gorbushka". There they are completely worth it, some are even turned on (you can look at it in action).
Burmistroff
The branch is long, I haven't read everything, so sorry in advance for possible repetitions, I answer the topic starter - in the summer, a humidifier is not needed at all, it is necessary when the central heating is turned on in the apartment. I took a humidifier about three years ago, I chose Venta due to the fact that you can use ordinary tap water, there are no consumables (which are usually more expensive or comparable in price to the device itself) except for their special liquid (you can do without it, but then water must be completely changed at least once every two days), it works quietly. In general, I would recommend it to everyone, BUT !!!! recently they visited their website (a friend asked for advice on a humidifier) and was surprised to see the price - 15,000, they called it an air washer and raised the price three times, I took it around 5,000 (they took three pieces and still bargained for two large bottles with liquid as a gift). The price is absolutely absurd, a plastic box with a motor cannot cost so much. As for washing or purifying the air with this device, the efficiency is minimal, it works perfectly as a humidifier and does not work as a purifier - I say this as a user. A little later, Daikin took the air purifier, a model like 407, does an excellent job.
As a result, I can recommend Venta because of its simplicity of design and excellent work, but I would give no more than 5000 for it now. And a humidifier is especially necessary in a children's room.

owners of Boneko sinks!
how do the units work?
I'm thinking of buying here, but the price is not low,

I bought Boneko a year ago, I'm very happy. Stands at work, has worked in good faith for the entire heating season. I am very satisfied. It has two fan speeds, I would say both are silent. The one that is faster is slightly audible. Venta is at home, she is also happy with her work, very easy to care for. Of course, when you look at how much dirt they draw in from the air, it's impressive.

many years ago I bought an ultrasonic humidifier BONEKO
after a few days of use, the slight smell of mold from the tank began to confuse
and then I noticed that a layer of white bloom appeared on all the furniture
I used tap water
consumption was 5-10 liters per day - depending on humidity
the operation of the device itself did not cause any complaints - but due to plaque it was necessary to abandon the use of a humidifier

and now after watching doc. film MOLD I generally doubt that such a humidifier can be used
I am even sure that it is impossible

but the problem of air humidity during the heating season remains

so now I think: which is better? steam humidifier or air washer?

as I understood these are much different things - in the sink there are 3-4 functions, and in the steam humidifier 1, well, its radius of action is small,
but it costs three times cheaper than washing
Nadeyka
A steam humidifier, as I wrote above, quickly raises the humidity level, is suitable for inhalation, it can be used with a fragrance, and the most sophisticated one is 5 times cheaper than washing. Yes, another plus - it's small. The downside is very young children and waterlogging with consequences such as peeling wallpaper - that is, do not close the door while the humidifier is running.
The sink is a huge unit, I was very disappointed in it, the humidity rises very slowly, plus constant mold in the pan (although my whole unit is mine a couple of times a week) - if you buy, take with discs that are at least dishwasher-safe - less work. .. Plus, it does not purify the air - contrary to what is stated, but the ionizer, if available, performs somewhat different functions that we would like - it stands before the air stream enters humidification and serves as a dust collector; ). What 3-4 functions are there in the sink? clarify
In terms of range - of course, steam gives everyone a head start - it raises the humidity level very quickly.

We also have an ultrasonic humidifier BONEKO. When there was a small child in winter, they used it constantly, otherwise the humidity dropped to 10-15%. Used tap water. The humidifier has a cartridge for water purification, which, over time, gradually stops letting in water and a certain smell did appear. Then either the contents of the cartridge change, or the cartridge itself. If you do not completely clog the cartridge and change it in time, there will be no smell. I did not notice the raid.

Yes I about I represent the differences between these devices

I asked the question in a slightly different aspect: which device will be safe for health?
Should you even use devices that create mold, clog your lungs, and the wallpaper peels off?

How does a steam humidifier differ from a conventional electric kettle (in principle)?

the fact is that water is different, alas ...

water in my area has a large number of impurities - artesian
but if you do not see a raid, this does not mean that it is not there
if there are impurities in the water, they get into the air and you have to inhale them
there are fewer impurities in your water - but they can get into the lungs

I have no complaints about BONEKO's work - except for the smell of mold

but to arrange dances with tambourines around him - to buy distilled water 10 liters per day - I also do not want

decided to look for another way to moisturize

bye - in winter I put a jar of water to the battery

thanks for the answer, I have already carefully read the whole topic - and until I draw the following conclusion: the safest for health is a steam humidifier

1 sediment remains in it, and is not thrown into the air
2 bacteria and mold are killed by heating
3 low price

it only remains to figure out how to adjust its work: how to avoid excess moisture and peeling wallpaper

I put silver coins in water for a humidifier - it did not help
only copper sulfate will help from mold ...

I found a way out with a steam humidifier - I bought a timer in Ikea, which plugs into an outlet, and a humidifier into it. As a result, the humidifier works 15 minutes per hour (you can set different modes), plus I do not close the doors to the room with the windows closed - then with the wallpaper.
You also need to take into account that since the steam is hot - 60 degrees at the outlet - the temperature rises slightly in the apartment ... there would be a bath with a kettle
My sink is Electrolux - a copy of Boneco - they are made in the same workshop, the design is slightly different, the silver rod stands, in spite of it, not only mold appears (I still wash it thoroughly 2 times a week), but slimy plaque, due to he has to disassemble the unit and wash it along with a bunch of disks - this annoys me as a person who does not have time.

IMHO: if you have to wash something, then you don't need to use such a device at all
because: no one will wash the device once a day, and if you wash it once a week (which is also not ice), then all the same, any muck such as mold will fly into the air during the operation of the device and get into the lungs
and cause side effects with irreversible consequences

Nadeyka
Discs from Boneco cannot be put in the dishwasher, from Electrolux you can, it is written in the instructions, therefore they bought the last one ... but the fact is that they are thin and they have to be removed from the rod with effort ...
With all this, I do not understand one thing - where does such a price for sinks come from?
And about the irreversible consequences I can cite a quote from the Russian classic Fyodor Mikhailovich: "A man, a scoundrel, gets used to everything" (c)

The topic is long, sorry if I missed something. My impressions of the Boneko car wash, purchased a year ago:
Humidity in a room with closed doors and very hot radiators rises from 19 to 35-45%. They all stopped scratching themselves. There are two modes in the sink - they set it quiet at night, it did not interfere with sleep. From time to time we can hear gurgling, but we live with two cats and a dog, so some gurgles just rest next to the night games of animals. Less dust, but not much. If the doors in the room are open (a walk-through room), humidity quickly drops to about 25%. But! the skin still does not dry out and it is not necessary to itch all the time ...
My unit is about once a week - there is no special mucus and mold, but the water becomes unpleasantly yellow-green. And on the discs there is practically no washable plaque from hard water, I do not touch it. It seems to me that if it is impossible to wash it with effort, then it is unlikely to be able to get into the air by itself.
Also: the unit itself is quite cumbersome and constantly pulling it from room to room is quite stressful. Therefore, if the apartment is large, most likely, you will need to buy something else for other rooms. We have windows in the rest of the rooms - here we are, chattering our teeth, they were simply heavily ventilated. And this year we want to buy the same sink for the children's room.
More about built-in hygrometers - the humidity near the sink or humidifier is always higher than at the other end of the room. Now I don't remember the percentage, but near the battery, completely filled with bowls of water, with the sink turned on, the humidity was much lower than in the middle of the room.

Please help me decide on the choice of a humidifier. Is it really as useful as it is written about?
Omela
I am sure that the majority will answer - it is necessary and useful!)))
I was puzzled by the same question when the child appeared. Eventually:
I have three of them, and all are in boxes. One is traditional, it makes a noise like a tractor, the second is a membrane one, it leaves a salt deposit on everything, it is not recommended to use it for children under 3 years old, the third is an air wash. It blows with cold air (no matter where I put it), my ears immediately ached and snot appeared. Moreover, it must be used with the vents and doors closed (it gets stuffy). And you can't beat the central heating batteries anyway!))) Even by washing the air, the humidity did not rise above 45% (and with round-the-clock use). I have not tried "hot steam" yet, but again, a small child is dangerous.

I solved this problem for myself as follows - in the summer I will put control valves on the batteries. And if you are going to buy a humidifier, keep in mind that the water there needs to be completely changed every day so that bacteria do not multiply (despite the assurances of manufacturers that silver rods, etc., decontaminate water)
Ray of light
Thank you very much for your answer! I'll add a couple of questions right away:
the doors must be kept closed, that is, I have adjacent rooms, the humidifier will work in one of them, and the door to the corridor should be CLOSED? But what about the "service" area up to 60 sq. m? I have a living area of 52 sq. m.We don't close the walk-through doors, we have a dog, and I can't even imagine how to sit tightly closed ...
About the daily change of water, is it very difficult? Is the humidifier heavy, bulky, or what? As I understood, it is difficult to wash the plates, but this is not done often.
Also, what brand is your washer humidifier? I tend to Boneko, but here it is very difficult to find him.
Omela
My last unit is the Boneco air cleaner AOS 2055. It works quietly, even in strong mode. If you have an open window, the humidity will "freeze". And his principle is self-regulating, the higher the temperature, the more water evaporates. It turns out like a vicious circle, the window is closed, the humidifier works, the humidity rises, it becomes stuffy. As soon as they opened the window, it became cold, the humidity dropped. Again, the humidity doesn't rise much. But these are my Italian radiators - animals!)))
Washing is not difficult, but it must be done every day!))) I am from the category of lazy. I have never washed the plates. They did not get dirty in a month of work! Apparently there was nothing to wash, everything is already clean!)))
If there was no child in the house, I would buy a membrane with hot steam. Our filters cost 1200 rubles. (set 2pcs), enough for the season, in principle, not very expensive.
Ray of light
Yes understood. Our temperature does not rise above 24-25 degrees. I ventilate often, but the air is very dry. Today we are going to see a pediatrician (my daughter is 2.7), I find out her opinion, she is an enlightened woman with us.
Omela
Write later what she says .... Pts interesting.
We also have very dry air. The child, of course, suffers !!! (((((But I put up with this until the summer. Then I put the taps on the radiators.

In general, they strongly advised me to buy a humidifier. It is advised to take ultrasonic, cold steam. In our city, the water is soft, there should be no deposits on furniture, etc.I asked about hot steam, the doctor told me that it raises the temperature in the room even more. And from a safety point of view, it is probably better to take with cold steam. In short, we decided to stop at this.
Oh, yes, I also read about warm steam that it somehow affects the wallpaper
Omela
I talked to the people here once again. It is really better to take ultrasonic. The only thing is to clearly take the number of meters that will be serviced. That is, if Boneko writes that 50m. sq., then it will blow with such force to serve this area. Maybe that's why I was cold. There is enough 25m for the room. sq. I don't even know what to do, if I buy another unit, I'm afraid my husband will kill me !!!!!!!!
Still, I decided on the last attempt - Boneko 7135. It is with cold and warm steam (if I suddenly feel cold again). The required humidity is set and he maintains it (the wallpaper will not fall off). There is a timer. And a water softener (salt should not be deposited). The filter lasts for three months. A set of three - 990 rubles.
Ray of light
And I found out that my friend from the kindergarten is already the fifth year Boneko 7135! Water is added daily, washes once a week. Apartment 2 rooms She is very happy with this humidifier. In short, tomorrow my husband is going to Moscow, I will unsubscribe upon arrival.
k.alena
Please tell me, users of Boneko humidifiers, is the function of preheating water before steam generation so important? I am considering 2 models 7131 and 7153. The first is the simplest of this series, and the second with this very heating (this function is also called "warm steam", up to 40C) The price difference is 1.5 times, so I think
k.alena
As a result I bought Electrolux 3510. I liked the function of treating water with ultraviolet light before spraying. I was very concerned about what we will breathe. Now I can't understand, it's normal that he is in a room of 15 sq. m, the humidity was raised from 35% to 38% and no further. True, before that, in severe frosts, our apartment in general was 25% and the parquet was already completely dry (1mm gaps).
musyanya
They wrote that after purchasing humidifiers, the walls, furniture, floor are saturated with moisture first, and this can take several days, and then the air humidity will directly increase to normal values.
NatalyaN
I had a choice between 1355 and 2055 Boneko, I did not notice much difference, except for the price, in 2055 aromatization and forced exposure of humidity (which, as they say, will not reach 55-60% anyway) did not interest me, so I opted for cheaper 1355, but when I called to order, so in the store they began to agitate me for Ballu 312 or 302. In 312 there is a button for forced shutdown of ionization. And the price is lower. Here I am again at the crossroads!
vorona
what rubbish this A-O-S 2055!
has been working for 3 weeks, no sense,
10 liters of water spits out per day,
zadolbaeshsya pour!
no "fresh air, like after rain" I do not observe
when turned on for the first time showed that the humidity was 37%,
it does not rise above 45%, although 55% was exhibited
I pour drinking water, it still blooms
and I very much doubt that she "cleans the air"!
16 tyrov wasted!
NatalyaN
In general, I overcame my throes of choice and bought Balu 312.
For 2 weeks now I'm happy as an elephant. I feel the difference. The air in the room has become softer, it is a pity, of course, that I bought it not during the heating season, I cannot check how much water he will drink into it, in order to estimate the costs in winter for sure. Now it takes me 20 liters of water per week, it works around the clock, but at night and sometimes during the day I put it on a quieter mode. I use purchased additional purified water (we have one - it is simple tap water, but it passes through powerful filters). Therefore, there is no white coating on the furniture (for this, I think, plus purified water should be put), and in the child's room there are not many things, so the water becomes practically not dirty in a week. My water does not bloom !!! Another plus is that it captures the corridor, even though it is around the corner, but the next corner does not capture (it was brought out by the experience of cleaning) - dust on the linoleum and laminate began to collect less in the nursery room and the corridor, but already in my room (what is behind the next bend), only the beginning of the room captures (where dust usually collected in a ball - there is less of it), but further in the room, already, as always.
As for the noise, yes, you can hear that it works, but not much, but it doesn't bother me, and the children fall asleep faster under a light noise, and then you can do something and the light noise muffles my actions around the apartment, so for me it turned out to be additional plus (although it may be a minus to someone).
And also, when I was choosing, I did not think about the fact that I would pour purchased water into the device and that this is also a consumable part (and it turns out not small), even if there is no need to buy any filters - but still consumption, so it may make sense to take air washers, even if they are more expensive, but with filters that can be simply washed under running water, it will probably be cheaper over time.
But, in spite of everything, I am very glad that I got this sink, now I plan to buy it into the second room, it is clear that this will not happen right away (crisis, after all), but as I buy something else, I'll tell you the difference.
Ernimel
With the advent of my second child, I choose a second humidifier.

The air-comfort d-103 has been standing for three years. I'm happy with the moisture content. At first I thought about taking it, but then I saw the price and changed my mind. We took it for about 2tyr, and now it costs 5500. Considering that at least another thousand a year at least goes to consumables - a can with a propeller is definitely not worth it. In addition, already tired of changing filters. And as a washing of the air, it is still useless - no less dust, during the pollen season, it only lightens a little bit.

I sweep aside the ultrasound right away - with our water we will breathe lime and salt.
For now I want a steam room, but I just don't understand - do I need replaceable cartridges and filters there? I just want to wash it off once a week from scale and plaque and that's it. Am I thinking correctly, or do the manufacturers also manage to shove consumables there?

An ordinary fan with a bucket "traditional" - in fact, I have one and it costs, but now they are absolutely worth unreasonable money.
NatalyaN
Ernimel, if you just need a humidifier, then buy the cheapest one, what are you afraid of ultrasonic ones, use clean water and that's it.
I pour clean water into my air washer and I'm not happy, but I don't have any consumables there (except for water), the only drawback is that the bandura is large, I would like to be smaller.
Now my BALUSKA is working at full capacity around the clock, gaining up to 65%, but the doors in all rooms are open, so it plows all 50 square meters, if the window in the room is open, then of course the humidity drops to 40%.
(In a whisper) Sometimes I don't even wash it once a week, but once every two weeks, I see the water is clean, but I don't have enough time, or I just forget ...
Ernimel
buy the cheapest one, what are you afraid of ultrasonic ones, use clean water and that's it.
"Pure" in this case is either after a full-fledged home multi-stage filter, or a purchased distillate. The first is not there, and the second is unreasonable at the cost of operation. After simple pitcher filters, there is still plaque on furniture and equipment, judging by the reviews of the meticulous inhabitants of ixbt, albeit not as powerful as if pouring from the tap. According to my observations, in a teapot and a double boiler (with water from an aquaphor jug), once every two weeks, there is consistently something to clean. Only there it is in solid sediment, and with ultrasound it will go into the air as fine dust. And if with a double boiler I can still allow an impurity from food condensate, then in the kettle it is definitely pure water. So the bonds disappear. This is not for our water and not for our realities, although it costs a penny (why there are a lot of them now, one is cheaper than the other). There is, however, such a wonderful topic as an assembly with softening and post-treatment cartridges - but these are consumables again. Moreover, it is not a fact that the degree of cleaning will be adequate.

Sometimes I even wash it more than once a week, but once every two weeks, I see the water is clean, but I don't have enough time, or I just forget ...
Well, my d-103 is also positioned as a "sink", and it also doesn’t shit. At all. For three years I have never seen miracles like the discharge of dirty water, she-she, even turn it on in the smog, even in the winter. And somehow I didn't notice the mountain freshness either, by the way. Fair.

But the filter, on which everything settles at the entrance, and where it actively multiplies, is disgusting. And I wash it once a week or two, the bucket is well with soap, and the filter is under running water. Although the filter is still shying very noticeably and very smartly. For the heating season - two per consumption (x450r + 200r delivery), and this is the second by the end of the season, almost none at all.
NatalyaN
Ernimel , for a long time I just use additional purified water, I used to buy it, now they have installed an osmosis system at home, so there is no plaque on the furniture, but I drain the dirty water
it is dusty as it gathers on the floor. It was the dirtiest water ever (six months) of operation. Now I just wash the floors around the apartment more often, or rather, I wipe it in 15 minutes maximum, the water is now just almost clean.

On the issue of "blooming" of water in the air washer, there is an observation - two of my friends have the same sinks, the water from the tap is of the same composition, but one has the water sour and has a slippery greenish coating, and the other just has gray-yellow water with bits of dust. .. the conclusion suggests itself that "blooming" is the result of fungus spores entering the sink from the air of the apartment ... such growths that seem to me a fungus)

Does anyone have one in use 🔗 I would like reviews.

First tell me what exactly are you going to do to them? If you save yourself from the heat in summer, you will die in a humidified bath. If you humidify cool air in winter, then I strongly doubt its evaporative qualities, 300 ml / h is declared - for an ultrasound humidifier this is indecently little, plus we take into account that for ultrasound you will need distilled water or a membrane filter (OSMOS), otherwise you will get sick of plaque scrub the apartment.

The recommendation to turn on the "cold fog" in the heat simply kills me, because increasing the humidity in a room where it is impossible to lower the temperature is a quiet suicide - find the table of comfortable conditions relative humidity / temperature for living quarters. And as for the fact that he WILL PROTECT AGAINST SMOG ... I sincerely hope that no one will dare to try to add moisture to themselves in the smog heat. It looks like a stupid and strange divorce. A cheap wind blower (2 speeds, a static non-rotating "head", without a remote control) with a cheap humidifier (although even a Chinese can be found at 400 ml / h). Separately, the price for both (that is, for two devices) is one and a half thousand a season, I think.

In general, everything is absolutely the same can be achieved with wet cold gauze on a fan or blowing off wet towels (if you really need humidity - what if you're in the Sahara? It's just that in Moscow, the humidity did not fall below 45% this summer, and at T 25+ this is redundant), and even better - by directing the fan towards bottles or containers with ice (tested on myself last summer, in a closed small room 2-3 1.5 liter ice bottles can bring down the temperature by a couple of degrees).

I saw a similar unit on the hump, but there was such a large floor-standing colossus, and there was something about greenhouses and open space (garden, cottage) ... in such a context, it probably can be used.

Ernimel , thank you very much for such a detailed answer. It's just that I have been trying for 3 days to dissuade my parents with almost your words (though my argument was only about the terrible humidity from this unit in the room). There are no reviews about him at all. All the same - they sleep and see to take him to the hospital for a relative. Offered a regular fan - refused, even agree to give the cat's cooling bed - again refusal. Tired of explaining, I was already thinking to go and buy (as in a joke - which is easier to give than to explain why you don't want it). Now I have in my hands, thanks to you, a compelling argument against this beast! in printed form

Leska Horror! And to drag such things to the hospital to unhealthy people! This is where, for sure, everything that is possible will breed in a humidifier (after all, care is needed for any humidifier, and the more people and nasty things - the more often they clean, completely change the water, etc., but how with the service of this horror - it's not at all clear from the pictures, maybe there you can't really get to the membrane). And UZ - they are such that it is poured and lives in them and will fly away ...

And for more reasoning, find somewhere a plate of comfortable values and norms of humidity / temperature in the room. Let them look and think. For comparison - on my sunny side in the daytime it can reach 29 now, we are in a rented apartment, so no kondeya. So - I even stopped spraying the curtains, because the humidity at such a temperature below 45 does not fall almost in any way. And it's really stuffy and bathing. And tell me about the stringent requirements for water for ultrasonic humidifiers! If (God forbid) real smog comes again, then in the end someone will breathe wet smoke mixed with all the salts from the tap water of the hospital (bottled water will not solve the problem). Even if we do not take into account the hospital microclimate, it is not the best even for the healthy.

And this "freshness" can be obtained under my scarlet for 200r - you pshiknesh on your face from a spray bottle, and kaaif for 15 minutes))) By the way, for a hospital there may be a good option, he lives in my kitchen. He has two options for fastening - a stand and a clothespin (for example, on the headboard or a window sill - it hangs on my shelf and does not take up space). Small, silent, 2 speeds, the "head" turns as conveniently, but itself does not turn back and forth (still for that kind of money). For one person - the very thing, IMHO. Model scarlett sc-171

Girls, I'm off topic, but where are we discussing water filters? I just can't find it and the search doesn't help.
