Two spicy chickpea dishes: salad and fish in chickpea sauce

Ingredients

chickpea 700 g
fillet of boiled fish (I have carp) 500 g
bulb onions 4 heads
garlic 4 cloves
carrots (not used) 1 PC
tomatoes in their own juice or pasta (2 tbsp. l) 500 g
lemon juice 50 g
vegetable oil + butter for frying
paprika, turmeric, coriander for 1 hour l.
cumin (not used) 1 tsp
Bay leaf 1 PC
parsley, dill, sesame taste

Cooking method

  • For a long time I did not know where to attach chickpeas - I do not really like this product. And then two dishes were immediately found. Without hesitation, I decided to try both at the same time.
  • Soaked the chickpeas overnight (recommended for at least 6 hours), drained the water and boiled in clean water until tender. It took 30 minutes. While the chickpeas were cooking, I fried the onions, garlic and stewed them with tomato paste. Grind fried spices in a mortar and add to the chickpeas.
  • Then I set aside some for the salad and added sesame seeds and parsley to it.
  • Two spicy chickpea dishes: salad and fish in chickpea sauce
  • In the second part, chickpeas put pieces of boiled fish (I have carp), stewed for a couple of minutes, adding bay leaves.

  • Poured the finished dish with lemon juice, sprinkled with parsley and dill. The result is a fish in chickpea sauce.
  • It is customary to serve such a dish with a side dish of rice, but everything went away without it. Soul-spicy, I recommend it to everyone.
