Potatoes with chestnuts (Maroni-Kartoffeln)

Ingredients

potatoes (small) 200 g
onion (small) 1 PC
boiled chestnuts 200 g
maple syrup 2 tsp
salt. pepper, parsley

Cooking method

  • Wash the potatoes and boil them in salted water. Drain the water, cut the potatoes in half.
  • Peel the onion and cut into thin cubes.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick skillet, fry the onions and potatoes until golden brown. Add the chestnuts, fry everything together for another 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and maple syrup. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
