Ingredients

boiled beets 2 pcs
Red onion 1 PC
Apple 2 pcs
nuts (cashews) 1 tbsp. l.
balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
honey 1 tsp
olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
grated horseradish 1 tsp
salt, pepper taste

Cooking method

  • For this salad, all ingredients can be diced or grated.
  • But when serving this salad as a side dish, it is better to cut everything into thin slices.
  • Cut the onion into thin rings.
  • Cut the beets and apples into thin slices.
  • Fry the nuts.
  • We mix vinegar with honey, olive oil. Salt, pepper. Add horseradish.
  • Sprinkle the apple slices with marinade and leave for 5 minutes. Also separately pour in the beetroot slices with onions
  • We collect the salad.
  • Layer beet slices with onions and apple slices. Top up with marinade and sprinkle with nuts.

Grated beets and apple. I laid it in layers in a ring as thin as possible. It turned out brightly in taste and color. The cashews were not at home. I had to replace it with cedar. It's still very tasty. Horseradish gives a very interesting note (though I have it not fresh, but purchased canned).
