Ingredients

Chicken fillet 500gr.

For batter
eggs 2 pcs
water 2st. l
bread crumbs 2-3 st. l
seasoning for chicken or curry taste
Vegetable oil for frying.

Cooking method

  • Hello. This is a SIMPLE Austrian recipe, but quite tasty))
  • Bakkhun - chicken in batter (bread crumbs), a traditional Austrian dish.
  • Preparation:
  • Cut the chicken (I have a fillet and a leg) into pieces.
  • Boil the meat in water with garlic, salt and pepper.

  • While the chicken is cooking, prepare the batter.

  • break 2 eggs into a plate, add chicken or curry seasoning and water, mix well. Add crackers. It should make a gruel.
  • Take out the chicken, cool it down (although the recipe says that the chicken needs to be cooled, but I fried it warm, the taste did not suffer))
  • Dip chicken pieces in the resulting batter, the meat should be covered tightly with the mixture

  • Then fry in oils until golden brown over high heat.
