Semifredo-Toblerone with hot cherry

Ingredients

Toblerone chocolate 2 pcs
vanilla 1 pod
eggs 4 things
cream 33-35% 500 g
sugar 100 g + 5 tbsp
frozen cherries 300 g
cherry juice + cherry nectar 380 ml
starch 1-2 tbsp

Cooking method

  • Separate the whites from the yolks. In different containers, beat the cream and whites until a strong foam. Cover and refrigerate.
  • Semifredo-Toblerone with hot cherry
  • Melt the chocolate in a water bath.

  • Mix yolks, vanilla pulp and 100g sugar with a mixer

  • and beat until a white fluffy mass.
  • Stir in chocolate, then whipped cream and then whites.

  • Stir in the cream and whites with a spatula from top to bottom.

  • Line the form with foil, lay out the mass and level.

  • Place in the freezer for at least 5 hours.
  • Defrost the cherries. Dissolve the starch with a couple of tablespoons of juice. Add cherry nectar and 5 tbsp of sugar to the rest of the cherry juice and bring to a boil. Pour in the juice diluted with starch, put the berries (maybe not all) and darken for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cut the semifredo into slices and pour over the hot cherries.

10-12 servings

Time for preparing:

50 minutes + freezing (at least 5 hours)

Toblerone can be easily replaced with any milk chocolate with nuts or waffle chips.

It is possible that this will not affect the taste. And by volume. I have a Kenwood ice cream maker. So the whole mass will definitely not fit into it. I got 1l850 ml by volume.

"Toblerone" is 100 grams, but since now, indeed, manufacturers have different weights, then all should be 200 grams.
