Chicken stuffed with rice

Ingredients

A hen 1 PC
Rice 1 st
Mushrooms 200 g
Bulb onions 1 PC
Garlic 2-3 tooth
Black pepper
Salt
Thyme
Olive oil

Cooking method

  • We wash the chicken well from the outside and from the inside. Gently break the joints at the base of the wings and legs, taking care not to damage the skin. We remove the skeleton from the bones using the tunnel method through a natural hole.
  • Chicken stuffed with rice
  • This should be done as carefully as possible so as not to break through the skin. After cutting at the base, carefully move to the middle, help with your hands, in some places and it is unnecessary to cut. When you get to the neck, remove the frame.

  • The thigh bones also need to be removed. Leave the wings intact as well as the shin. We will leave this to the lovers to devour bones.
  • Chop the garlic, add salt, pepper and thyme to taste. mix and add olive oil.
  • Chicken stuffed with rice
  • Spread the inside and outside of the chicken with this mixture and leave to marinate.
  • While the chicken is marinated, prepare the filling. for this we boil the rice until half cooked. Chop the onion and fry in a pan, add mushrooms to it, I had ice creams of an unknown type for me (not mold), fry a little more and add rice to them. Season with salt and pepper to taste and turn off. Let's cool down.
  • Chicken stuffed with rice
  • Fill the belly of the chicken with the filling, sew up the hole. The hens do a light massage so that the filling is evenly distributed.
  • Chicken stuffed with rice
  • Put the chicken in a suitable shape and bake in the oven at 180C for about 1-1.5 hours, focusing on the weight of the chicken and your oven.

Yuliyayayayayayayayaya is some kind of debauchery both visually and gastronomically.

It's probably very difficult to remove the frame from the back?! I'm afraid this is impossible for me. Or, having separated the breast, the back can be easily removed by itself?
julia007
WildebeestI usually lay the chicken breast down and start from the back, gently going down towards the breast. The bones are separated very easily, as a result of which the frame is simply removed, if you wish, you can remove the bones from the legs, I just have lovers of legs and wings, so I do not remove them. There is a video of this method on the Internet, it was enough for me to watch it once and have already had five years of practice.

GabyBut the end result is worth it.

What a delicious chicken!
My sister also knows how to carefully remove the bones from the carcass, I even asked her to conduct a master class several times ... I myself will not make up my mind, to be honest. But my husband loves whole chicken, and I love smoked chicken. So I think, take out the bones, stuff them and smoke them in the airfryer! Whenever I make up my mind, I'll bring a report.
julia007
TriciaFear not, this is not as scary as it seems at first, you will definitely succeed. I haven't spoiled more than one chicken, and the fillings can be different (rice and mushrooms are always at hand).

julia007, Julia, I watched the video. Masterfully the aunt removed the bones. I give myself a directive to debonise the chicken.
julia007
Wildebeest, You will succeed! Do not doubt.

Melanyushka, Thank you, I looked at the link the skeleton was taken out masterfully, an excellent recipe. I am generally delighted with the video, it will be necessary to try to remove the skeleton in this way, but I think it is a little more complicated.Although it's all a matter of habit.

I tried removing the skeleton from the chicken. It turned out that it was easier to shoot from the back than from the breast. But the skill is needed.

I do not argue. The most important thing is to start.

I also have one such recipe with mushrooms.
chicken - 1.2-1.5 kg
butter - 150g
parsley (greens) - 100g
salt, pepper, spices - for chicken

For minced meat:

rice - 1 glass
champignons - 200g
onions - 1 pc.
sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
salt, pepper - to taste.
We will prepare all the products. Boil the rice beforehand. Chop mushrooms and onions and fry in vegetable oil until tender.

Prepare green butter: put butter softened at room temperature and finely chopped greens in a bowl. Mix everything well.

Roll up a roller from the resulting mass, put it on a saucer and put in the freezer, for 20-30 minutes.

Wash the chicken, burn it, wash it again, remove the entrails. Brush the inside with salt and pepper. Finely chop the garlic (if desired). Make holes in the chicken and insert the garlic. Cut the green butter into slices. Using a knife, carefully separate the skin from the chicken meat, making pockets.

Put mugs of green butter in these pockets. In a bowl, combine boiled rice, fried mushrooms with onions and sour cream. Salt a little and mix well.

Put the minced meat in the chicken, close the holes with toothpicks. Salt and pepper the chicken, coat with your favorite spices.

Grease a baking dish with butter, put the chicken in it and bake in the oven. Bake at 170-180C until cooked.

Put the finished chicken on a large dish, remove the toothpicks, decorate as you wish, and top with the remaining green butter. If desired, the chicken can be immediately cut into portions and served with rice.

katioy, great recipe suggestion.
About green oil. Recipe from Jamie Oliver. It is not necessary to take out bones from chicken.
And so, we make green oil, which includes: sl. butter, cilantro (any herb you love), and minced garlic. We put this oil under the chicken's skin, wherever it gets. I manage to spread the butter over the breast and sides. Put 2-3 lemons inside the chicken. Lemons can be cut in half. The chicken itself, salt, pepper and send to the oven.
After removing the chicken from the oven, we take out the lemons and pour their juice over the chicken. Easy, simple and delicious.
