Fermented tea made from leaves of garden and wild plants (master class) (page 307)

Elena Kadiewa
Natasha, well, probably look for a carpenter who knows how to work with wood, or ask friends to do it.
paramed1
Natalia., or do it in the usual way, through a meat grinder ...
kubanochka
Natalia., in the summer I made myself such an adaptation, I did it myself, there is nothing wrong with that. BUT! I did not like. Meat grinder is better. Don't bother yourself.
Anatolyevna
Tashenka, My husband and I did it through a meat grinder, we liked it. So, you can and without adapting.

So I really like the meat grinder, more than sheet, I did not adapt it, although my husband would have made it with great pleasure. As they say, they do not seek from goodness.

Once again, somewhere I missed, I read about badan. I have a large bush, at the end of summer I peeled off dry leaves, it turned out to be a large bag of dry brown leaves, but somehow I didn’t dare to go to tea, so I throw it from one cabinet to another closer to the bucket. How do you weld it?
Tashenka
So I do it through a meat grinder. But we, as children, want a new toy. What if it turns out to be better than the old one ?!
All, convinced, I stop wanting. My task now is to buy a desktop oven before leaving "free" in order to prepare as much as possible all kinds of teas for my grandchildren (and for myself too). After ours, you will rarely have any store-bought taste.
Zachary
Hello everyone! It has already been a little, quite a lot as much as 7 months since the very day I put to rest the fermented tea from the Meadow Geranium.

Maybe someone remembers these posts
Quote: Dilara

Hello everyone! Maybe my first tea-making experience will be interesting to someone. It really was a very long time ago, then there was no Internet and such competent teachers. When we went to pick berries, we were shown the herb from which our ancestors made tea. And we several people started making tea. I remember the leaves crumpled a little and put them in an enamel bowl under a press, the more advanced ones wrapped them in oilcloth and put them under their mattress to ferment. Dried simply in the air. Translated from Tatar, this herb is called (mullah's herb). It is strange that no one mentions this herb, it is positioned here as tea herb. The tea was delicious and brewed very hard. Botanists said it was a forest geranium. It grows in bunches. flowers are pinkish lilac. leaves are carved.

I have been collecting meadow geranium for a long time. But I didn't even think about fermentation. Thanks for the tip. I mow it with a small scythe, otherwise it is inconvenient to tear. Usually it is covered with a carpet. Here is a photo from the last trip.

Yes, I really never thought of fermenting it, thanks to Dilara for the tip.
I would like to share the result with you. Although I absolutely had no doubt that I would not be disappointed, but that I was so surprised by the result ...

The tea turned out to have a tart tea taste with a pleasant dark color, quickly brewed. The only thing, of course, my flaw is that I did not turn it into a meat grinder, so it turned out to be a little smallish sheet. But this is perhaps the only drawback, otherwise the tea deserves attention.
I recommend everyone to try making this tea.

Very interesting! Several years ago, a geranium bush was brought from Yalta and it took root in the garden. Very similar to meadow, I will try to make tea this year.
Zachary, and the technology, fermentation time? How about spicy herbs?
francevna
Zachary, the tea looks very nice.So you just started drinking it? Was he different at the very beginning? Has the color and taste changed?

Yes, everything is the same as always, freezing, otika, etc.

I haven't tried it, forgot it, put it in the closet, and the other day I came across it.
Linadoc
Zachary, that's great! Another tea has appeared! Only here, probably, it is not growing. But the idea is interesting.
Natalo4-ka
Lina, grows, all around and everywhere in the middle lane. We have it in the village, so I'll have some fun in the summer ...
Zachary, thanks for the report.
Tricia
Zachary, the tea infusion turned out to be very beautiful and certainly fragrant! Roughly, of course, I remember the smell of this herb. It seems that I saw this in Moscow as well, but not with such curtains and carpets as in the photo above, because I have little chance to collect it for tea. It's a pity, I love experiments. I will continue to listen to your stories about this tea, if you tell me more. Is it a medicinal herb, is there any healing effect or, like after any fermentation, is reduced and imperceptible right away?
Borisyonok
Linadoc, Linochka! Geranium is also growing in the fields ... I looked at it last year ... I looked, but I was not worthy to collect and do it ... This year now I will definitely do it.
Zachary, thanks for "New Tea"!

Geranium grows in our fields ... last year I looked at it ... I looked,
Elena, and I did not pay attention to something ... although the flowers are something familiar.

Zachary, great tea turned out !!!

Yes, it is like a weed everywhere, therefore it is not striking that there is a lot of it.
Tricia
Girls, honestly, in the north of the Moscow region and in the Tver region, she grows everywhere in the meadows in forbs. Use childhood barefoot walked by, weaved wreaths with her, etc.
Borisyonok
Omela, I just when I read in the topic that Zakhari collected and made ... I began to look closely, its certainly not the same fields as in the photo, but even fragmentarily you can collect it decently. Well, and if it is not enough, then you can combine with Vanya ... everything will be new.
And in the Vladimir region, in the village where the dad has a dacha, it is.
Omela
I will explore my fields in the summer.

Already I can’t stand it as much as I want to "in the fields"! Hurry the warmth would come to us !!!

I'll go get some tea!

Omela
Oh, don't tell. Only today we talked about this ... how nice it would be if the snow that melted didn’t fall anymore.
Borisyonok
Quote: Omela
so that the snow that melted does not fall any more.
And we have piles of snow ... and it's not going to go down in my opinion.
Omela
No, I mean on the road .. brushed in places to asphalt.
Elena Kadiewa
Ndaaaa, we have such a flabby, I definitely have not seen ... sadness, however.
paramed1
Zakhary, at what temperatures did you dry geraniums? And then there are essential oils in it, so not higher than 80. Or dried at high and still everything is fine?
We have around the dacha, and on the site, the right kind of oblique mow! I'll have to try the leaves in the blended tea.

I dried on the street under a canopy and the temperature there was much lower than 60. I did the drying as Dilara wrote in her post. Unfortunately she disappeared from the forum. And it was not possible to ask her about this tea.
paramed1
Zachary, all clear. It means I'll dry it like currants.
Radushka
Pancake! Zachari, where did you get on my poor head?
Add one more tea to the "try" list!

elena kadiewa, in fact, I often think ... Such a golden plant is hemp! Both oil and cloth! The fabric is not demolished! The oil is very useful! Paradise plant! So what? Everything that a person takes with dirty hands turns into either dirt or a weapon ...
T only in our tea! Because our hands are clean
Anatolyevna
Let's drink delicious tea! The aroma, the color is so intense!
Thank you! I will say it many times!
Many helped in a difficult task, read and decide to make tea!

svetn
Hello girls! How boring without you and without new teas! I look forward to the season with impatience, there will be a vacation in May-June, so I'll take a walk !!! So far, over the winter, I went through all 770 pages of the topic, my head is full of ideas and thoughts, I would not shake it up! Yes, here's another concern, what to do with old stocks? I treated everyone, and if you ask about the impressions, they (peak, peak, peak are not printed words) brew lazy! And I still have 15 liters of dry tea left! By the way, I liked the country tea least of all. The most successful option for me is to cook each flavor separately, and mix it in a thermos! Completely different taste and aroma. And I’ve already convinced that it’s worthwhile - my family didn’t get sick this winter!

svetn, Svetlana, excuse the impudence, but you can "treat" me / sell for a trial. : oops: I just read the topic too, but I have nowhere to collect, but I really want to try to know if it's worth "asking" friends at the dacha to collect leaves or not.
Elena Kadiewa
Umka19what did Svetlana say to you?
Although I have just a little tea left, I will send you to "try" it. Where is your Klimovsk? Send the address in a personal!
And it is imperative to do it, if only because it is tasty, healthy and -sooooo delicious!
Albina
Elena, and what teas do you have? I think it's worth trying. Our garden trees do not survive.
Borisyonok
Umka19, Ludmila, good day!
On "try" I can treat ... if you are in Moscow on business or something else, we can dock. I don’t promise much variety ... but I think that you will like it and will have to ask for a visit to your friends more than once. Write in a personal.
Nadyushich
Hello tea makers and more! I'm also looking forward to when you can already start pinching something for tea. There is still tea left, I think not a little, but I will not say for sure, since I have sent almost all of the tea to my daughter and husband, and I still have about 3 cans of granulated tea and I don’t think this is a lot. In the summer, I did not really believe that the tea would become tastier over time, but now I am convinced of this and I want to know what will happen if it still lays down. Teas were made both mono and village of different composition. I liked the villagers right away, but now they have become even tastier and the flavors included in them have become brighter. Especially now the taste of pear and mountain ash has manifested itself. Previously, they were not felt. I will definitely do the village ones, I love the apple tree with cherries, Ivanushka with cherries is super, and of course pure Ivanushka. Neither I nor my family want to drink shop teas anymore. I also gave a lot of food, I was not interested in impressions, they said themselves, some will do, but some are lazy. And I like the process too. Especially the aroma when drying tea! I also mix mono tea, but now I will make fewer of them, now I have an idea about each and I will twist them right away, it tastes better. So who has not started doing it yet, join, you will not regret it.
Anatolyevna
Nadyushich, HopeWe liked the tea too! I am delighted with this mix of apple, raspberry and strawberry.
I want to make an apple one separately. My husband and whom they treated like the mix (currants, raspberries, grapes, apple trees, rose hips, pears), I drink, but I'm not happy.
Elena Kadiewa
Albina, I have ivanushka, ivanushka with the addition of cherries, fluffy, macho (it's all ivan tea), well, and village ones from what we have: raspberries, victoria, viburnum, black currants (and red, well, it's for volume), mountain ash (this bit), cherries, blackberries ... everything that grows with me and my neighbors.
I already wrote that I found an ivanushka of 14 years old and that the village scent cannot be compared with last year's too! And the rustic really reveals itself more and more the longer it costs.
Business, of course, is the master's - to do or not, but those who make their own tea are unlikely to give up this business!
Well, apple trees, pears, grapes, apricots, etc., do not grow here! But I tried, our girls sent me, so at least I know the taste.
Umka
svetn, elena kadiewa, Borisyonok, I love you all !!!

Girls, we have the most Soulful forum!!!
Elena, Svetlana did not refuse me .... Now I will look forward to TASTY !!!
Thank you so much !!!
Radushka
Nadyushich, Hope, and what kind of mountain ash in your tea? Blackberry or regular?
Anatolyevna, Antonina, I also do not use teas with grapes. He adds acid everywhere. I don't like this at all. By the way, the mono apple tree is boring for me. I began to brew it with a rose, with mint, with lemon balm. Then the color of apple tea, and the aroma of additives.
This year, I plan to try apricot (I didn't manage to go where apricots grow, but I didn't pick it up in the city), mono-blackberry (I found a forest plantation not far from the village estate), geranium (thanks to Zakhariya))) and black currant (I will roll and cut).
Mono I only like raspberries. All the others interfere with her. By the way, the mixes prepared immediately and mixed from mono teas are really different in taste! Although, when mixing, I observe the proportion.
Cherry will only do spring-summer, while the leaves are soft. And only MONO. It can be added to any tea to suit your mood. Or you may not add. By the way, cherries go well with mulled wine. Combined with mint and cinnamon, the drink becomes even more warming. Must try cherry ginger tea! (just now I thought!)
Lord, how did I BEEPS on the leaves!
Elena Kadiewa
And I miss them ... for a long time already ...
