I don't use the dumplings, I do it by hand, that is, it turns out that the width is not important.
bye, but then why choose something ?! take a 15 + motor in one place in the Stars and business! There are 7 of them left, and they will scatter it.

I just paid for the one that is black, so I want not to screw it, bang on the table and work, at the same time for drying noodles, I thought I didn't need it, but I wanted to, and the price is normal there.

Svetlana777, can I have a link to the motor !? And will it fit Marakato's 18 cm roller?

here I am about it, and even the remnants will be raked. Now I'm looking at the topic of pasta machines again, the boom has gone, so they raked everything out from the officials and did not have enough.

the link has already been given, the motor is the cheapest there

How do these Gemlux differ from each other and are there any differences in the quality of rolling between Gemlux and STARFOOD?
Valentine, for Gemlux GL-PMF-180, the noodle attachments are removable, for Gemlux GL-PMZ-18 they are non-removable. Only the user of machines of both brands can tell the difference in the quality of rolling, I think there are very few of them. If the width is not important to you, take the STARFOOD 150 in the "stars" and a motor for it.

Just in case, I'm reporting my experience with starfood. I saw here on the forum information about good discounts and bought an 18cm noodle cutter with a motor. At the first check, I noticed that the distance between the shafts changes slightly during rotation. I tried to roll out the dough, I liked it. I selected the dough and thickness for dumplings and dumplings. Live and rejoice. But sadness came. I rolled out noodles from scraps of dough for dumplings and, apparently, the dough turned out to be too tight for the machine. At the maximum thickness (7), the noodle cutter began to knock and bounce. First thought: the gear has broken. Disassembled. The gears are fine, but the distance between them is more than necessary for engagement. There were no knocks on the sixth thickness. He began to roll starting with her. But also not for long. Now, even at a thickness of 6, the gears do not mesh. Apparently, the fastening of the shafts turned out to be frail ... For me, this machine worked its 1200 rubles. She has already bought an atlas 180 to replace it.

Greetings to all! Help with advice, pliz .. I was puzzled by the choice of the machine. I need it more for rolling out the dough. The main headache is the filo dough. What can you recommend? I read the instructions, which indicate the thickness of the dough at the exit. What do you think, is it possible to achieve?
Cifra
Filo is exhausting, you can try to stretch it after rolling, that is, use the dough sheeter as an intermediate stage. If I'm not mistaken, somewhere Masinen had a video of a Serbian pitta with a roll-out dough.

definitely not, Elena wrote about this test above. Maybe there are specials. machine, but definitely not the ones discussed here
Irene
I saw a baklava recipe on the forum, where the author rolled out the dough with a typewriter .. the recipe of 2014, I wrote, I don't know if he will answer?

I rolled the dough for craffins on a cashew roll, it turns out to be very thin, almost transparent.
Here are the pictures, there you can see how the rug shines through the dough.
Craffins (Cruffin II) # 95
Maybe it will work on a stationary machine if you get to the last stage of rolling.

I think I would also use it for a long time, if I didn’t try to roll out too tight dough in a piece. The machine did not start knocking on the first such piece. Last month I made several preliminary movements with a rolling pin and from a thickness of 5 the machine rolled normally, the problem did not progress. There are no complaints about the engine. I have not tested it with the atlas yet.

Yesterday I received a Gemlux dough roller and a Starford motor. Well, I wanted to immediately test the acquisition. Everything fits through the holes. First I tried the dough sheeter in manual mode - a certain skill is needed, not right away, but something similar to rolling out of the video began to turn out. Then I hooked up the motor (to the dough roller, fixed with a clamp). It turned out, in my opinion, a rather flimsy construction - a weighty (and vibrating) motor hangs on the console (and only!) On the side of the table. It was then that I realized the members of the forum who bought a dough sheeter with a built-in motor - there is nothing to hang here, it will not fall off. She opened the door of the lower kitchen cabinet and put in a box for extra support. It is more convenient to roll out with a motor - hands are free, and a little skill has appeared. Then I read on the forum that many do not fix the machine with a motor, but simply put it on the table. But won't the machine fidget on the table in this case? And do I need to put something extra under the motor?

Natasha, congratulations on your new assistant! Let it serve for a long time and please))
I recently bought it, but it’s standing on the table unsecured, I didn’t put anything, although I was originally going to.
It turned out to be very convenient! Now every other day, pies, cookies, pasties, dumplings, dumplings are not idle at all! And before, a non-motorized 15-shka was taken out occasionally on the occasion of dumplings, while you snatch out your husband, screw-unscrew, and once again did not get it unnecessarily (
I really, really regret that I didn’t know about such a thing before, I thought that only expensive Atlases with a motor are ...

Reviews for a dough sheeter with a built-in motor (red and black, which are 4500 rubles for a promotion) are not very good, there are some plastic gears. Therefore, I did not take it, but took the dough roller and the motor separately.

I haven't chosen yet. I tend to STARFOOD, the most attractive model is MD150-1. The shower does not reach for Italian models because of the price. So I bought an ice cream five years ago, made an ice cream, and three years ago I gave up eating animal products, so now the ice cream is idle. I bought an inexpensive one, so it's not so offensive. I also don’t want to spend more than ten thousand on a roll noodle, which may not be in demand, taking into account my requirements. Let me remind you that I need a dough sheeter / noodle cutter only for rolling flour dough with water without eggs
not in topic)) make sorbets in an ice cream maker!
how do you like Starfood?

Svetlana, don't worry! The built-in model has its advantages. Yesterday in mine I was very confused by an overhanging console with a heavy motor. But what I bought, so I will use. So we will find a common language with our dough sheeters!

to me on you, plizz, I ride more often on the second - I like fast driving, it's hard to say about the thickness, I probably ride almost to the thinnest one for the palette - I don't see numbers without glasses, I'm too lazy to wear, so I look at the test. To be honest, I don't even know what numbers are there and how many there are.

but I have not met such information
Svetlana, I have never met - initially I was going to screw it to the old place where I put the last one; but he is high for my 1.5 meters; I mainly use a round table - and its table top is thick, I decided to try without fixing it, or I wanted to put the books under the motor.
But no, as long as it is, at your own peril and risk, but who knows how it affects the motor ...
Quote: Natuska

If the dough is soft and pliable, then by 2, if stronger - then at 1 speed. I also rearrange the dumplings by touch, albeit with glasses, but in the Gemlux it is inconvenient for me to look in, I can hardly see the risks, and on my typewriter, the numbers were all shifted ... it will be more convenient

Yeah, the numbers are very hard to distinguish, you can't figure it out without glasses! Maybe you should tint the numbers somehow? And I have to start with 7 (the maximum width between the shafts), and not with 1, although the instructions indicate from 1. Either my Gemlux is wrong, or the instruction is outdated.
But we also need to "go, not checkers", so I rolled from more to less, regardless of the numbers.

Girls, you shouldn't delude yourself about Becker, the first models there were 18 cm, I recently searched for them - Becker now produces a dime a dozen of them, and even with the same number in different stores there may be different equipment and widths, you can get burned.
Was 15 cm, now 18 and I would like to even wider))
Gastrorag 18 cm still with holes for the motor is. I also searched for so much time, was wise, spent half a month looking for it, even an officer. the representatives of the Gemlux do not know if their dough rollers have holes for the motor on the side, laughter ...
I would take the Gemlux which I wrote above and ordered the motor in the Stars - the best option.
It's up to you, of course; their rake has the right to be)

There are holes for the motor in the gemlux.

Good morning! I bought a bekker 5200. In the catering stars, delivery is still very inconvenient for me, I would have to ask someone to pick it up and do not know exactly the day it will come. Chinese, no attachments. I saw all their cars on the Internet and asked what and how. I was interested in the minimum thickness of the dough at the exit, according to the instructions, I realized that it was 1.5 mm, they wrote that it was about 0.5, but I did not find such information anywhere.

According to her passport, her roller is 14 cm and the noodles are rolling Knife: 1.5mm and 4mm indicated ...

In this video, a girl, while making ravioli on a raviolnitsa, throws one sheet over another and turns the handle with one hand, and supports the dough with the other. For me, for example, this is a discovery, since when I made dumplings on my raviolnitsa, it bothered that two layers of dough dragged along the raviolnitsa on both sides, and did not slide and therefore the dough stretched.

girls, and girls, will a Starfood manual motor fit the marcato? No one knows?
Masha Ivanova
Jenealis, Marina, Marple, said that it would fit.
Jenealis
Masha Ivanova, ran to order. I love you all, irrepressible, inquisitive minds, what would I do without you !!!!
Masha Ivanova
Jenealis, see post 6204 on page 311 from Marple.

Girls, is it safe to buy in this Catering Star store? I sent them money, threw off the payment, the second banking day is over, and they say you didn’t send us money, we didn’t receive anything. How so? I don't know what to do now
Marpl
Everyone who ordered everything was fine. Payments can take up to 5 business days.
Jenealis
Marina, this is the first time with me, I hope I will not be an exception to the rule
Masha Ivanova
Jenealis, you just warn the store if they don't have enough of these motors, so that they will put you a reservation on your motor! And money, indeed, can take a long time. For this you do not need to worry, you have the shipping receipt. If the store needs it, send them a scanned translation.

Lost a handle from Marcato Atlas 150, can you replace it with another Chinese one or won't it work?
