here I will ask. How thick is the lasagna dough to roll?
caprice23, there is a good recipe from Lena Tim at the link below, and at the end she gives recommendations for rolling.

(Elena Tim)

Quote: Elena Tim
I make the dough like this: 4 eggs, 400g flour, 0.5 tsp. salt - knead in a kneader, cover and leave for at least half an hour.
I roll out such dough only on a dough rolling machine, it is very, very difficult to do it manually.
The layout is as follows: there will be a total of 8 strips of dough, 2 for each level of lasagna. The width of the strips is 14 cm.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces. My machine has 6 thickness divisions, where 6 is the thickest dough. I roll: 6-4-2-2. I cut off the uneven tails at the edges, and put the strips that are exactly the right length (38 cm) into the mold. And only the last two strips, which will go to the very top of the lasagna, I roll: 6-4-2-1. I like it when the top layer is thin.

caprice23
Yulia, Thank you so much. Yes, I did it according to this recipe. But how do you get exactly the desired width? Full width of the dough sheeter. I get long and narrow stripes.
julia_bb
Natasha, can take larger pieces? And first, roll the piece to the maximum several times, folding it in an envelope to achieve an even piece.

caprice23, Natashayou video Nata Chuchelka looked at work on Kitchen's dough sheeter?
caprice23
Yulia, roll it out several times, fold it. But all the same, as a result, they are long and not for the entire width of the dough sheeter. Probably you need to take a piece of dough and just put it in different ways, practice and understand how to do it in the end.
I thought maybe someone has a ready-made instruction

Sveta, did not and did not look. I don't even know where to look.
SoNika
salty dough is not allowed in dough rollers.
Natasha, I don’t know, I also get normal ones, at first I just knead it with my hands, after the first run, I fold it in half and already put it across, even if the dough is wider, but it pulls in as it should ..
Natasha, do you add "step" sequentially? Watch this video, here is the recipe and rolling, skip the beginning a little ... the essence is the same for all

Why?
SoNika
Natasha, in my instructions it is strictly written about this, apparently it scratches the surface and then rust will bloom. I do not salt dough, but water.

Hmm, I didn't know. There seems to be nothing like that in my instructions. Need to read, maybe missed.

caprice23, Natasha, whistle, what did you read, huh? I put salt, but it is so scanty there ... I have a shallow dining room. Maybe she won't hurt, but my mother still uses the so-called stone. She is larger, a little grayish. Here she can pose a risk, I think. But it's easy - pour hot water over it so that it dissolves and then to the rest of the liquid
SoNika
Girls, I think it depends on the coverage ...

Tell me please, I have an empire Titania 190 model, I guess so. I use it for 5-7 years, it can very rarely once a quarter. after a couple of years I thought they were bent inside the layer. guides, today untwisted - each burst in 2 places. In principle, you can do without them if you dust it well with flour, but then you blind on dumplings for example figs ...
what could be the problem, one-time rolling? is there no plastic at all?
sticks to the shaft and crawls out the dough from all the cracks (maybe the dough is really damp today, the other day I did everything well on khinkali - I mixed it with rolling, manually - anrial)
Maybe you can glue the guides with a layer or buy them? model then I look still sell .... or also quickly break?

ps took off all the plastics, sprinkled the dough well with flour, it became denser and everything went fine

Natasha, whistle, what did you read, eh?
Whistle, definitely. Today I ran something, I forgot. I rest all day in the kitchen, the day off
I rolled dough, stuck dumplings, dumplings. I rubbed strawberries with sugar, made ice cream, I'll make pizza

Sveta, read. Not a word about the ban on salt, but the recipe is given in which salt appears

Hurrah!!! In our kitchen, you can have dough and salt!
Honestly, I like it more with salt

and for me, I always put salt (I do not quote instructions), I always thoroughly dissolve the salt with a whisk with a cappuccinatore - quickly and conveniently

Eh, late I found this topic ... in the "stars" there are only 15 cm dough rollers
Tell me, how much is the real width of the dough in a 15-centimeter roll? 14 cm or less?
Masha Ivanova
Natuska, Natasha! There is 18 cm in Leningrad. See a link to the store just above.
Natuska
Masha, I saw this link, and I have already called this company. But in a warehouse in Moscow they do not have this position, and taking into account the shipment to Moscow, it turns out to be expensive. In the "stars" the price is attractive, and the motor is interesting! I need to decide whether I can get by with a 15 cm typewriter, or be sure to take 18 cm.
The width of my dumplings is 14 cm, but there should be a minimum stock of dough around the edges! Will it be possible to roll out the dough 14.5 cm on a narrow machine?
Masha Ivanova
Natuska, Natasha, I see. It's just that you are there next to Peter, maybe someone will buy you there, but with the train will give it.
I have 18 cm Very convenient!
Natuska
I think that I also need to take 18 cm. I called various online stores, alas, in Moscow I did not find Starfood 18 available at a reasonable price. Now I'm looking at gemlux PMF-180. I wonder if the Starfood motor will fit her? The Starfood and gemlux managers are not in the know.

Over time, get used to it and you can easily, it takes very little practice. And the dough strip can easily be stretched by a centimeter. And the motor is a very nice thing.
Lanna
In general, girls, sorry, I will quickly report)
I overslept the topic, I didn't have time to buy Stafford for 18 with a motor, I ventured to order a Gemlux Gemlux PMF-180 and a Stafford motor for it, I waited half a month - I was worried whether it would fit or not ... Today I got it!
Everything has grown together, girls, so whoever did not have time to take - you can safely take it! There are Gemlux 2 models and Gastrorag 18 cm, the same arrangement seems to have holes for the motor.
In St. Petersburg, in fact, there is no 18 cm Stafford noodle cutter, only it is listed in the window, physically not available, as it turned out during calls ...
Hope this information helps someone))
Natuska
Svetlana, I ordered the same set!

I ordered the same set today!
Yes, Natasha, I saw your throwing, that's why I hurried to answer, I think suddenly someone else is rushing, reading from the bushes ...
And then I myself was very upset when I realized that I did not have time to buy Stafford along with the 18 cm motor (
Natuska
I was also upset ... at Starfood 18 there was a great price in the "stars"! And now they have disappeared everywhere. For myself, I decided that a 15 cm roll would be too small for me. Thanks to the kind people, the analogs suggested. I would not be surprised that these starfoods, hemluxes, etc. are made according to the same patterns at one Chinese plant, only they put a different logo. Now it remains to wait for the order.

Good afternoon, but from ours who did not buy with a built-in motor? such

🔗

something begs that you don't need to screw it on, now the tables are not clear what kind of tables, I have to open a box with forks / spoons, cover them so that the thread does not fall out and so openly work with the dough roller, it is impossible to screw it into any other place ... Therefore, at 18cm I hapanula, it’s great, but the black / red one sunk into my soul and put it on the table and work - for noodles, and for Teskomovskaya raviolnitsa there is enough width, I did not really find reviews
Masha Ivanova
Lanna, Thank you! Did you buy the motor in the Stars? If so, how much did it cost you to ship this motor? I ask, because yesterday one of the members of the forum did not buy something for herself in the Stars, because she was told a frantic delivery price.
Svetlana777
Elena, I bought a dough roller for 18 + a motor (3 TCs are written in the deliveries (Business lines, Baikal Service and PEC) to which the Star does not pay the way, the rest with delivery to the TC is paid (from 700 rubles), and even + delivery to the destination, here Probably the total price is big) I chose from the list, paid 500r for delivery (it turned out that a machine with a motor 2600 + 500 = 3100 - for me such a wonderful price) You always need to carefully study the delivery conditions.
Masha Ivanova
Svetlana777, Sveta! I myself bought both a Stafford 18 cm and a motor, paid a higher price, since I chose Business Lines, just after you said that the goods were poorly packaged.
But we live with you, oh, how far from all these Stars and are already used to paying for everything. And the forum woman I'm talking about lives in the suburbs. That's why I asked this question.

So my question remains.
Svetlana777
Elena, and was well packed in DL? (my boxes were not packed at all, they just gave out 2pcs as from a store)
Masha Ivanova
Svetlana777, Sveta! Firstly, I ordered to send in the Pallet Board (in hard packaging, in boards), for which I paid money. There is simply a sad experience of sending by other organizations.
Plus, after your post, I called "Stars" and warned the manager in advance about the packaging. She said that I would come to receive it with a camera and, if anything, I would post it all online.
So thank you for the warning, because inside the boards in the shipping company everything was packed so that I barely opened it!

Lena, yes, I bought the motor separately in the stars - we also live a long way off, asked to pack it better, wrap it in a bubble wrap - but no, they just sent it in a box without any protection, sent Del. Lines - they just gave out a box and that's it. Approximately to Magnitka, consider the delivery, the son took it, paid 433 rubles
I'm in the gardens, so everything is fast. hand, if anything else - check

Masha, I ordered my Gemlux at a photo warehouse for 1690 rubles.

I also applied the promo code 100foto for a 100 rubles discount. A trifle, but nice.
P / S / Looked at the photo warehouse there is a pickup from many large cities, including Novosibirsk. But the price of the product may vary slightly.

Girls! Thank you for all your information. I hope my friend from the forum will see all this information and make a decision for herself that is convenient for her.

Goodnight! I choose a dough sheeter from budget models, I stopped at STARFOOD QZ-150 and Bekker BK-5200. Needed for rolling the dough for dumplings and dumplings (cutting noodles is not needed). Tell me, is the width of 15 or 18 cm very important and what is it for bekker? For some reason, there is different information everywhere. And if you choose bekker, will a starfood motor fit it?
Svetlana777

about the noodles on my own I can say, when I took the first one - it also seemed to me-for figs to me noodles, I bought it because of ravioli, but having tried once to make noodles (for another, not at home) I came to the conclusion - I need it!
In width, 15cm is enough for dumplings, dumplings - depending on what to sculpt (if on pallets such as teskoma, then enough, and if on other forms, then 18cm is not enough, here they showed 2 strips of dough either overlapping and rolling the seam, or immediately on overlapping form) Of course, it's better to have a wider one, about Bekker, oddly enough, I did not find information about the width in any model either
valjushka
Bekker is easier to buy, it is available in many places. But she has no motor. And starfood only in catering stars ordering and receiving shopping malls is not convenient and more expensive than regular deliveries. Maybe someone has experience comparing bekker and starfood? They also write about gemlux, but there are some not very good reviews about it. Yes, I agree about the noodles, until you try, I don't want to)) I just mean, if these noodle attachments come in addition, then I won't take them for now.

I just mean, if these noodle attachments are optional, then I won't take them for now.
in addition, they are mainly in expensive Italian ones, and in the above ones they are included. (if in the kit, then they need to be removable) Even curiosity took me apart, I ran the Internet on Bekker, they write everywhere the thickness of the dough and the width of the noodles, but there is no shaft width, strange I found a description of Miranda https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ontent&task=view&id=1510# , so if you have questions, you can safely ask her in a personal, she will answer

You can find not only there, but the price is pleasant only in the Stars, I agree to receive the TC, it is inconvenient (for me it would be better to use SDEK, they have a full PV, but expensive) if you compare it with mail, then the difference is not significant before us. The dough sheeter is a wonderful and necessary helper, but it is worth testing it with and without a motor, this is not the same process.

Judging by myself, I woke up at 5 in the morning - should I add some dumplings? I was lying around thinking - I’ll wake up the neighbors with a motor, and without it I’m already reluctant, you quickly get used to good things.

Lanna
Girls, you shouldn't delude yourself about Becker, the first models there were 18 cm, I recently searched for them - Becker now produces a dime a dozen of them, and even with the same number in different stores there may be different equipment and widths, you can get burned.
Was 15 cm, now 18 and I would like to even wider))
Gastrorag 18 cm still with holes for the motor is. I also searched for so much time, was wise, spent half a month looking for it, even an officer. the representatives of the Gemlux do not know if their dough rollers have holes for the motor on the side, laughter ...
I would take the Gemlux which I wrote above and ordered the motor in the Stars - the best option.

I think if wider than 18 it will be more difficult to work with the dough, to be honest, then, for lack of choice, I would order a set on the Stars, even for 15, in any case, the width of the dough is not enough for a wide dumplings / dumplings, so here you need to proceed from the calculation of 2 widths , so much so that there are fewer residues at the edges. And it is important that rolling the dough around the edges does not chew (there are some)

Girls, you shouldn't flatter yourself about Becker,
perhaps, and I also considered in bekker there are no slots for a motor
Lanna
Some Bekkers have a slot.It is difficult to navigate from the photo, many i-magicians do not see the product in their eyes, they simply replicate photos that are walking on the network, often incorrect. She took my dough rolling machine, there were no slots in the photo either, she tortured the owner girls from friendly forums.
I pull 18 cm for 3 rows of a wide ravioli
valjushka
Thank you very much for your answers! So you should choose from Gemlux GL-PMF-180, Gemlux GL-PMZ-180 and STARFOOD QZ-150? Does the motor fit them all from STARFOOD? How do these Gemlux differ from each other and are there any differences in the quality of rolling between Gemlux and STARFOOD? I don't use the dumplings, I do it by hand, that is, it turns out that the width is not important.
