if you want a good vacuum cleaner
the basics
you need a HEPA 12/13 outlet filter and so that there are no gaps, that is, seals are everywhere around the perimeter and a good fit of the plastic

bags
makes wonderful bags for 200+ models
Swirl (Melitta), called micro por (HEPA10)
noise
most of all gets the sound of the motor

Ultra Silencer series

costs from 6000r., sometimes with a turbo brush included

I have 3375

in Germany it is AEG ultra strong (with the name Eletrolux - for us)

suitable for allergy sufferers from the Oxygen series - there are already two HEPA

who needs 6 liters with a bag, will do
BOSCH BSG 8 PRO 1
made in Germany, special attention to the tightness, the motor has a 10-year warranty, in Germany 300 euros, we have from 10000r.

Well, if you want comfortable fittings (handles, legs) - these are the older Miele for 20,000 rubles, where the brushes are already adjusted in five positions
but the air does not come out of them cleaner

they all suck from 330 to 450 mbar - this is for the eyes and ears
on my 3375 on the carpet with a turbo brush I put half - the carpet sucks

Happy New Year!

My sister (she has a Lenolium floor, carpets, cats, a bunch of flowers, regular sewing-embroidery-knitting, a pedant husband and cleanliness in the house) has been working for 3 years Thomas twin-tt (the one that washes, it cost 16 thousand 17). She is still sooo happy with it.

And all autumn I was puzzled by the choice of a vacuum cleaner and the first advisor, the Internet, gave out very unflattering reviews about Thomas ... I was afraid to buy, they say, very unreliable plastic and it is very tedious to wash it all out of dirt after cleaning.
The size of the unit did not matter to me, there is enough space in the pantry. just to vacuum well. I decided that it would be better to take the device from a company specializing in cleaning. The choice fell on Körcher. Solid materials, German quality. bought Körcher 5500. Pre-filter + Aquafilter + HEPA12 - a good team! A turbo brush and a floor brush are all you need to be happy. If 10,000 for a vacuum cleaner is affordable for you. I can safely recommend it for purchase.

For daily dry cleaning bought yesterday Philips FC 9174 Which vacuum cleaner to buy?
I liked the work very much, let's see how it goes next.

I have this one for 4 years already, and my mother bought Thomas for herself a year ago. And I really want him for something Karcher is happy, but

they need to be replaced with new ones about once a year. And they are not cheap At the time of the choice of a vacuum cleaner on the market, there was no washing machine or an aquafilter. The one that Kercher now has is much more expensive than Thomas. So I think that the next one I will have Thomas By the way, my mother has no problems with washing the vacuum cleaner after cleaning, and she is a pensioner after all.

I am satisfied with Karcher, but they need to be changed to new ones about once a year. And they are not cheap

I was very worried about the problem of consumables, because with bags for collecting dust I suffered for 3 lives ahead. The pre-filter is washed under running water, the aquafilter is a container where debris accumulates in the water - I throw it into the toilet and my running water. HEPA filter, of course, needs to be changed. Today it costs 800 rubles in the service center. Okay, once a year and a half I'll master it. :) But the quality of dust collection is fundamentally higher. There is also a defoamer in the consumables - add a cap to the water so that it does not foam from dirt (there, during work, such a violent bubbling begins). if you pour a little less water and do not vacuum too dirty rooms for too long, then you can do without a defoamer. Honestly, such a penny spending does not bother me at all, because "consumables" are required by a washing machine, a dishwasher, and an iron ... yes, almost all household appliances! Now what? Don't use it ?! Therefore, if the vacuum cleaner is easy to use, does an excellent job of cleaning and filters the exhaust perfectly, then this is my choice!
By the way, mom has no problems with washing the vacuum cleaner after cleaning, and she is a pensioner after all.
Well, there are so many people, so many opinions ... And I’ve read that the clips that hold the tubes on the main bar all break off quickly, the plastic is flimsy, the labyrinths for washing, you will torment yourself to pour water ... Does your mother really WASH THE FLOORS with this Thomas? Of course, I have already made my choice. but it’s just curious to know WHAT EXACTLY you like this vacuum cleaner.
k.alena
Mom only washed to try, because there is often nothing special to wash. Maybe that's why she has no fuss. When it's warm (either at the end of the heating season, or in the summer) I'll take this Thomas from her, wash something (a sofa, for example) and finally decide if I need him or not. And without trying it, I like the principled opportunity to clean upholstered furniture and carpet with a "wet method" (but more often than once a year I don't need it) and it is smaller in size than my Karcher. And in all other respects, especially the quality of dust collection, I am very pleased with my vacuum cleaner.
After calling a dry cleaner at home to clean upholstered furniture after 3 years of operation and observing the boy who was cleaning (he was with a professional Karcher), I came to the conclusion: this should be done once a year, so as not to start it, I will cope with this task with a washing vacuum cleaner and herself. That's when thinking about Thomas and visited. But I'm not talking about changing one for the other ... it's just that nothing lasts forever, and when my Karcher retires, I will know who to look at
k.alena
More about filters. The pre-filter is washed under running water, but after a year and a half it still needs to be changed, it "wears out". We have it for approx. 56 $. HEPA filter after about a year is already black and accordingly needs to be changed (approx. $ 28). I do not use antifoam during normal cleaning. Really needed when collecting cement dust (after hanging the shelf on the dowels, for example).
TaTa *
I would advise you to wash furniture and carpets until the heating season is over, because the apartment will dry out faster.
Actually, I can't stand my Thomas, because washing gets tired ...
You need to quickly vacuum it, it won't work
The floors can only be washed if they are perfectly flat, otherwise there will be puddles in all recesses
k.alena
After dry cleaning at home, I dried the furniture under the air conditioner in the heating mode. Therefore, I think the best time for this procedure will be the end of the heating season - it is already quite warm outside and the batteries are frying like abnormal ones and you can still open the windows for convection.
Lenusya
I also have Thomas Tweet TT. But in a quick way, vacuuming really does not work, which is why we bought Philips.
And I will use Thomas if I need to wash the carpet or furniture, although the quality of cleaning both dry and wet suits me completely in it. I also change the filters every six months.

Quote: Tortyzhka

Lenusya, congratulations on your purchase! Now we are "vacuumed" !!! If only our "pets" do not break

Cake Thank you! I hope they won't let us down
UmSabir
I also have a Karcher in an aquafilter (model 5500), I have been using it for 5 years, I don’t pour liquid from the foam, nothing splashes, instead of an intermediate paper filter, my husband has adapted to use a piece of padding polyester in the last six months, he pulled out a rubber band from the old filter, attached a painting net to it (for sanding the walls that goes) and glued all this economy to the lid of the container on poxipol. It did not affect the quality of the suction, but the care became much easier, I washed the synthetic winterizer and again like new, I was tired of washing the filter with a toothbrush
This is the construction. Which vacuum cleaner to buy?

Hello.
I have Thomas Tweet T2 (the latest model) - washes perfectly, although I have 75% nat carpets in two rooms. wool, medium pile.

Before that there was Mulik, I don't even remember which model, but still "from that war", it still works, but it happens that it falls into "insanity" - it doesn't wash, it doesn't suck.

There are no problems with Thomas washing, well, if you really find fault, then you need to wash the non-removable top cover with a cloth (I have microfiber), but the whole process takes no more than 0.5 minutes. And so everything is civil, he poured the bucket into the toilet bowl, in the sink the cyclone rinsed it in the same bucket, so that the solid hair waste was rinsed and again poured into the toilet bowl.

In Mulik it was a bit simpler, but the lid, you can't wash it in the bathroom, that you will agree - there is also no buzz when black hair slurry is poured into the bathroom (it is clear that Domestos should then clean the bathtub and clean the drains with Flop).

By the way, Mulik took three times more time to finish washing (before drying) than Thomas.

Yes, do not litter anything! You said everything correctly.

After my post, I went to look at the cover - it is also removed from me, only I could not even think of it before, everything is so firmly held there, and it is removed with great difficulty, although I am not a weak girl.

I came to the conclusion that I'd rather wipe it with a rag - it will be more whole!
Lenusya
I also accidentally noticed: I was carrying it back to its place after cleaning and the lid remained in my hands - and the vacuum cleaner itself fell to the floor. Even my heart sank: I thought the lid had broken, but no - she easily sat down in its place. I rarely take off to wash, mostly I just wipe it with a cloth

As for the "fight against wool", then if you are considering buying a separator vacuum cleaner, you must definitely choose a complete set with an Electric brush (electric scrubber), it will 100% cope with wool and deep dust in mattresses, sofas, pillows, carpets, etc.
This is the answer I received to my letter. We have two fluffy kitties, there is enough wool at home. I also read a lot of reviews and went to the offices of companies selling separator vacuum cleaners. Also in your thoughts what to buy. My choice: only separator type, namely Delveer. When I buy it, I will share my impressions.

Good day. In the latest METRO catalog, I saw a very interesting Delonghi Penta vap vacuum cleaner for dry and wet cleaning with a steam generator function, 10 nozzles in a set. Before that I wanted to buy Thomas a washing machine, but here you can also wash a steam generator with hot water. I certainly do not hope that someone has already used it, but maybe someone has another Delonghi vacuum cleaner. I wanted to know how this brand works, how reliable it is

There is also a small drawback that sellers carefully hide, washing vacuum cleaners do not collect water from carpets by 100%
in a warm climate, there is still nothing there, and so the humidity is below normal, but, for example, in St. Petersburg or Sochi, excess moisture is not needed at all
strawberry
I'm all in thought what to buy ??? Delvir washing (or maybe for dry?) Or Körcher 5500 ???
In principle, we have neither carpets nor carpets. The floor in the rooms is laminate.
Tell the owners of detergents / non-detergents, pliz, maybe a detergent is not needed then?
zeta
We also bought a vacuum cleaner in the summer. When choosing, we started with detergents, then switch to aquafilters, glasses for collecting dust. But in the end, we settled on a vacuum cleaner for dry cleaning with a good HEPA filter, like this:

🔗

With a washing vacuum cleaner, there is too much fuss about washing it after cleaning. Therefore, we decided, as soon as we get rich, we will immediately buy a detergent, but only in addition to dry, so that the carpets can be washed periodically.

Well, if there is a laminate in the apartment, then the rag will save the father of Russian democracy, it will be faster, and you cannot wash the baseboard with a vacuum cleaner. And our vacuum cleaner has a special nozzle for parquet.
Sly
and the air purifier is not considered?
It could be taken as an alternative ... since we are talking about HEPA

We bought a Hoover Xarion TAV 1620, though as a present for my mother. We ordered it to Rostov, the price is reasonable, about 6000 thousand. We have already tried how he is at work, is strong, collected all the wool from rugs and furniture, picks up all the garbage that previously could only be collected by hand, not noisy, without a dust bag, he just has a container that is naturally much easier to clean than a bag ... Comfortable control handle, lightweight self. I think to myself then take the same.
albina
So many reviews with such technical details about the different drum cleaners! And I have Hoover, though I bought it recently, but quite quite. I have enough capacity for my two-room apartment, we clean it off behind the cat - no hair remains. There are no bags of dust collectors, which then need to be cleaned in a gas mask. He took off the container, overturned it, rinsed it - and the vacuum cleaner was clean. What else to boast about? Design - I like it, so elegant, small, light. It takes up very little storage space. And if you consider that the seller told us that the filters are treated with an antibacterial compound, then I can say that it is an excellent vacuum cleaner for a standard city apartment in which I live. Not expensive, again! And therefore, to the question of the topic, I can answer: For 100,000 I would not buy a vacuum cleaner for anything, even if I had such an opportunity.

I had VAX at home, it worked well, everything was fine. A year ago a branch pipe broke down, we still can't buy it. There are no service shops for this model. Found on the Internet a store (allegedly) selling parts for VAX vacuum cleaners. I went and bought a branch pipe, it turned out that China makes it, you can't put this part on a vacuum cleaner anywhere.
There was Roventa before, the level is below VAX. Water leaves on the floor, carpets are wet, and so on.
I bought a robot vacuum cleaner, I really like it, but I have 200 sq. m. house, it is not realistic to remove such an area. It is rechargeable, cleaned one room for 2 hours to recharge.
Kirby is a total crap - one ad, with demonstrations. A friend bought it. Her small child left a small detail on the carpet from the Kindersurprise. This part got into the hose and it broke. I started calling the company, they promised a guarantee and so on, the company refused to change the hose. A friend called the Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights - and there they said that this Kirby company did not have permission and the right to trade in Russia, since they had not passed certification, and they could not help her in anything. Not even suing anyone. Therefore, trade in this company is carried out at home.
So while I'm going to buy a Karcher steam cleaner, I hope that this company is lucky.
sazalexter
maria-nadin Before buying, find out how they have with the service, are there any consumables on sale, such as bags, antifoam, etc. and so on with some and in Moscow there may be problems
nut
After all the vacuum cleaners I had, I bought a TOMAS with an aqua filter and am very happy. Firstly, it powerfully sucks in everything, and secondly, the air in the apartment is immediately made fresh due to the fact that the sucked stream with dust and dirt passes through the water and all the dirt settles into the special. container, he washes the floors amazingly (I have a laminate), he copes with the carpet on the floor in one second and cleans and washes, no need to bother about dust bags - you just take out the container, pour out the waste water with dirt and everything.
sazalexter
I also worked with the S-Bag 3-4 times, I opened the lid and threw the bag into the trash and that's it. Neither the container you need to wash, nor the intermediate filter, you don't need to look for an antifoam agent in the shops. 95% of the particles are captured, no water filter, let alone a cyclone, will not cope with this. 🔗Air_filter 🔗
