Millet porridge with pumpkin

Ingredients
Pumpkin 700 g
Millet 220-240 ml
Milk 440-480 ml
Water 220-240 ml
Sugar 3 tbsp. l
Salt 1/2 tsp
Butter 50-100 g
Cooking method

1. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and simmer in MV in the Stew mode until completely soft (we usually do 1-1.5 hours)
2. Knead the pumpkin until mashed with a pusher
3. Measure the millet with a glass (1 part - 220-240 ml of a measuring glass), brew with boiling water, let it stand for 10 minutes, then rinse until the water becomes clear
4. We put millet in the MV, add water (1 part), milk - 2 parts (ie, two measuring cups), set the "Milk porridge" mode.
5. After the end of the mode, mix and re-set the mode "Milk porridge".
6. After finishing, add salt, sugar, butter. Let the porridge stand with the lid closed - it will be even tastier.
Now why we set the "Milk Porridge" mode twice.
There is a lot of water in the pumpkin, it does not all go away at one time (probably, you can add less water when cooking, but we did not try it), and, more importantly, for some reason, millet also does not boil until soft at one time.
We buy the whole pumpkin, or if it is from the garden, we clean it, cut it and freeze it in the freezer in bags of 700 g. Then we just have to throw it into the MV and put it on for the night. Stewing for 2 hours, and in the morning we are already preparing the porridge.
