I lick my lips at this lasagna slicer too. Maybe Bosch Mum will release such a nozzle someday
Svetlenki
Alycha, EllaHave you seen Chiba? The price is really prohibitive. In the professional master chef, the young chef who won, used her. Made an apple with caramel for dessert and potatoes in some main course. It works so cool

If it were for half of what they ask for it, I would definitely take it!
Miranda
Yes, you can slice it on any mandolin, only narrow stripes will be. This nozzle seemed to me somehow confused, although cool. But bend here, press here, turn here.
dopleta
Yes, we already discussed this device several years ago ... And the price, indeed, was exorbitant for it. We also showed a video of how Japanese chefs do this with knives!
Alycha
Yes, chibo. I did not find another. For half what it costs and I would buy. Just did not understand, she only slices to a certain thickness or there is a difference in the nozzle
Svetlenki

I'm even afraid to learn this machine, honestly.

Yes, we already discussed this device several years ago ..
exactly, I also read and watched the video, a very interesting device, go to Kitchen attachments will be at the price of the unit itself .. but I really want
leostrog
Oh, but I found another one - 300 W motor and 4 replaceable blades.
🔗
Here's what they write in the reviews:
"Well built, easy to clean and plenty of power for the harder vegetables. A little more expensive that other spiraliser out there but i think it's well worth the money for something with a little extra power".
True. until I found where it can be ordered from and what voltage is needed for it (if 120 is bad) ...
dopleta
He is Australian, and his voltage is 220. In the reviews and in the video, I did not see anything particularly impressive. Only that the power is higher, but for some reason it cuts - and this is clearly visible - at exactly the same speed as ours, which have three times less power. leostrog, but you were only interested in the power (because otherwise it is similar to others - and they rub hard, and they wash easily, and many have four blades, although, frankly, three are enough)? But even if it spirals three times faster (although this is clearly not), then why, if ours also cut one full-size vegetable in a matter of seconds?
leostrog
Thank you. what we saw about the power. I found one on eBay. but not a fact. what to agree to send, and the shipment will be very expensive .. It seems to me (although I may be wrong) that the motor power in email. the device can be compared with the power of a motor in a car when the engine is 900 hp. from. and 1600 liters. one hundred . the second car will be more durable in terms of engine wear.
dopleta
Quote: leostrog
but not a fact. what to agree to forward
Did you see there in Postage: Posts to: Australia?
leostrog
Yes. saw. of course.
But sometimes . when you write a private message to the sellers and ask them to forward them, they agree. I have had this more than once (usually from America and Germany (I buy a lot for needlework and for children).
Can. Indeed, I will buy Bella for a start for my daughter (she has two small children and vegetable pasta are relevant to them).
They need carrot, squash. beetroot. rutabagas. kohlrab (?).
dopleta
Yes, he cuts all of the above perfectly. But in the vertical beets, rutabagas, kohlrabi, and zucchini, only medium-sized ones will enter.
leostrog
Yes. pasta with pom. email the device is wonderful. And then yesterday I cut a rutabaga for them with "noodles" on a Kenwood disc, a small "julienne" - not bad. but thick.
Mirabel
Girls! who already spirals nonstop and has experience. Look at this one.

If you have already given this link, I apologize
I am specifically confused in all the presented spiral cutters. Do you think you will not have to press hard on the piston if there are hard vegetables?
on the video, everything seems to be easy, but in fact, how it will be is not clear. I like that you can collect and store it compactly, and it's not cheap at all.
Or take the vertical electro already? they also sent a discount on it. Well, they know what I think of her
Oksana1999
Girls, what can you cook from vegetable lasagne sheets? Other than lasagna, nothing comes to mind. But something is so expensive, so I want to understand)
dopleta
Oksana1999, Oksana, in fact, this carving technique is used mainly in Japanese cuisine for rolls, for decoration, for cutting the finest straws from these layers. Japanese chefs do it with knives. The technique is called katsuro flour. Daikon, cucumber and carrots are usually cut.

Found the video we were discussing:

Oksana1999
Thank you! This is necessary for professionals (I understood why such money)
Larissa, what is the thickness of the cutter in your spiral? I couldn't understand from the pictures.
dopleta
Quote: Oksana1999
What is the thickness of the cutter in your spiral?
I didn't quite understand the question, Oksana. The thickness of the spaghetti in the electric? 3 mm.
Oksana1999
Yes, I'm sorry, I couldn't figure out how to formulate)
Is this the minimum thickness or is there a smaller insert?
leostrog
I have just read the instructions for this device (Bella):
There are two types of pasta - fetuccine and spaghetti, and fettuccine looks thinner (or is it just in the picture).
But there it says in the instructions. that fruits and vegetables should be maximum 2-7.6 cm thick and that larger products should be trimmed. i.e. kohlrabi. Rutabaga and beets will need to be trimmed anyway.
And the voltage of the device is 120 V. and we have 220 V., and a good voltage converter (not a lousy Kittai one) itself stands as another such spiralizer.
Dopleta ... tell me, are fettuccines really thinner and also - what kind of transformer do you have?
I know. that the quality of the transformer is very important - because of a bad one, the electric / device itself can "give an oak".
Svetlenki
leostrog,

Buy the European version of Bella. You probably haven't seen, I gave a link before. I repeat

🔗

Irlarsen
Svetlenki, and I will say thanks again. Here Toko Toko he came to me at this link. Played enough. I had to slow down, because the children were traveling and I couldn't eat so many chopped vegetables. Very happy.

My results from vegetables that cannot be crammed into Kenwood because of their size: cabbage did not work But I expected so. I grabbed vegetables in the nearest store and cabbage of the wrong kind, but with crumbling leaves. They fell apart.
The pepper is great. Pepper measured: 8.2 centimeters. I bought one eggplant (small) and while I tried to portray spaghetti out of it, it ran out. But I didn't mean it. The numbers are mixed up. Let's finish our sote and try again.
dopleta

Three, more linguine. As for cutting vegetables, I don't. Shown in the photo is slicing cabbage, eggplant, and sweet potato much larger than 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter. Dimensions for spaghetti - 3 mm, linguine - 6 mm, fettuccine - 12 mm. And for the European one you don't need a transformer.
Mirabel
Irlarsen, Irina, Congratulations! : rose: I'll probably order it myself,
Irlarsen
I continue to experiment. I bought a pumpkin, although for some reason it was called an ecological zucchini in the store. Slightly oblong. There was not enough power. The pumpkin is, of course, very hard. The device technician honestly tried, but shut up after 10 seconds on all blade options. Here is the answer about power.
Miranda
Irlarsen, there are a lot of pumpkin varieties in the world, they are different.
I had a "vitamin" pumpkin, oblong (photo under the spoiler). I cut out of it and Kenwood cut it.

I had several of them, pumpkins. One wilted, because she had a broken side, did not notice. And the other has been perfectly preserved since the fall. So I didn't cut the sluggish one, and it was just more difficult with a knife, and the cube cutter did not take it. And I cut the juicy one.

Spiral chopper (slicer, spiralizer) for cutting vegetables and fruits

leostrog
Yes. I followed the link to the English Amazon and then to the German Amazon and was just upset - there are such wonderful spiralizers. for example Russel Hobs and a couple more. which have a high% of good reviews and a bunch of attachments. but. unfortunately, none of them are forwarded to me (and neither is Bella). Only the rather dubious Severin and Kenwood, but I don't want them.
Interestingly, there are a lot of negative reviews for the device from WMF. and this is a very good brand.
dopleta

Peeled? It is recommended to cut off the thick skin on all spiralizers. And harder than beets? It cuts beets perfectly.
Miranda
leostrog, sometimes it seems to me that people write reviews on Amazon. Besides, Kenwood, that neither potatoes nor carrots can. I didn't have a single joint, not a single one.

There are products that are not baked, but I did not expect. For example, pickles. Too soft.
Irlarsen
Miranda, yes, I also think that in the season there will be a pumpkin that will be cut. This one I barely cut off with a knife. She's super duper ecological for crazy money. But it's interesting! I will buy all the vegetables (which I find) and try to cut them.
Of the pleasant advantages. I would have been cooking an outrageousness for decades and I understand that the taste depends on the slicing, but what is TAAAAK! Sliced spaghetti carrots, zucchini and the same potatoes slightly fried in a wok just sparkled with new colors! And how fast! Even my potato eater husband agreed that such a potato turned out to be completely ready in a few minutes, although he almost tried to take the wok from me by force when I turned it off and began to apply it! Like, she’s crazy, I won’t eat raw potatoes, let me cook it!

I agree very much. I also theoretically understand that cutting affects the taste, the shape (the same million types of pasta) affects. But every time I am surprised!
leostrog
Yes. and what gorgeous zucchini pasta is obtained and low-calorie.
When the joints did not hurt, but their manual contraption ( 🔗) did great.
Now the time has come to mechanize labor. Alas..

Irlarsen, Irin, try as advises dopleta, Larissa is good to clean the skin like that ... The fact is that during storage (well, you understand that it was not removed from the garden yesterday, but in the fall), the skin becomes thicker, rougher, which allows the vegetable to not deteriorate .. . I think that you have not completely removed this skin ...

leostrog, sometimes it seems to me that people write reviews on Amazon.

Miranda, you said that I did not dare! This is what I always think when I read reviews. But for spiralizers, they are especially numerous!

leostrog, I would help you, but looked at the shipment to Israel from us - they want a lot of money

Oh, girls, and I realized that it turns out to be influencing and very influencing. I used to make vegetable salads, but I stuffed them into myself because it was necessary, because it is useful, etc. ... And here, with the spiralizer, it's a completely different matter now, the taste is some kind of new, I don't know why, maybe it's far-fetched, but the desire to eat vegetable salads every day appeared.
leostrog
Svetlenki Thank you for your kindness. It seems that I found a couple of suitable and with a good rating there. Now I'm just figuring out what their voltage is.
I read the reviews very carefully. to understand. that this is really sensible and to the point criticism.
Irlarsen
Amazon is generally a funny site. So I bought a spiralizer. He came to me yesterday. Tell me, why did I receive a letter from Amazon today with a proposal to buy 6 different spiralizers at a discount? (earlier, by the way, the site was not noticed in impudent advertising) At least some graters or teapots were offered. Why do I need another spiralizer right now?
Alycha
I also have a manual one and now my right hand hurts and it is hard to twist. And even children love zucchini spaghetti. sometimes I twirl with tears in my eyes.

Ira, the pages you have looked at are monitored there, and depending on this, information about the goods that interest you is offered. This is normal. Moreover, directly on the page of the purchased product there will be a question - would you like to repeat this order?
And I have joy - it was discovered how to neutralize what sometimes annoyed me (the inconvenience of eating long spirals in fresh salads)! Just make one long cut along the entire fruit - from top to bottom, and you get charming short curls:

Well, I read a lot and could not pass by, first I bought an electric Gemlux (I haven't tried it yet, there is no time), and then I realized that I still needed a horizontal one for large sizes so as not to bother with cutting, so I bought Salter, the plastic turned out to be quite strong, not even expected.
Over time, now I have no seams at all, I have no time, but today I tried a mechanical celery root, I specially chose a large one.
It turned out great, the knives are sharp, cuts quickly.

win-tat, thanks for the report. I, too, have already come to the point of issue - I scratch my turnips: whether to take it or not (because some dissuade it from mechanical). Now I am inclined to take it.

Thanks to Larisa, after saying that the mechanical is not bad, I bought a spiralizer with 5 blades on Ali.

I liked it, it is not difficult to twist, the juice is a little on the table, but I hope to adjust.
Half rubbed the pepper, broke further, but it was too wide.
I also wrapped a pear with an apple.
Thank you all for the active topic, this prompted the choice and purchase.
Accomplishment
win-tat, Tanya,! I have the Ozone Salter in the box since Mon. Also some kind of nonsense with time, I just can't get it!
And I also looked at the celery root yesterday. But there was the last one, quite weak.

Larissa, I thought you knew! Here in video, you laid it out, at 7:58 auntie cuts an apple, so that instead of a tape, you get slices. (Something I was disoriented a little - nothing, what's "you"?)
marina-mm
Anna1957, Anna, we must take!
dopleta
Anya, who is discouraging you? There are a lot of us - owners of horizontal mechanical ones - is anyone not happy?
Anna1957
marina-mm, but can you spiral carrots of different thickness for comparison? I'm just wondering: do I need 5 blades or 3 is enough (Doblet is enough))))

dopleta, Larissa, there are comrades known to you and me Call to buy an electric one. But I am flint
dopleta
Accomplishment, Elena, not postponed! Of course, on "you".
marina-mm
Anna1957, Anna, I can spire, but tomorrow, we have one in the morning now. It seems to me that in three there is no blade without teeth, flat.
