Asteria,
Check out the related topic about the Kenwood 450 - it's programmable. You can bake with live yeast in any oven, you just need to "catch" the algorithm of actions.
Asteria
Rina72, sazalexter, thanks for the answers.
I will study the issue further. All the same, I would like to have the most natural bread (fresh yeast, quick-sour natural milk, etc.) and a minimum of labor and attention to the process. Well this is a dream: sleep in a sweet dream and wake up to the aroma of freshly baked bread

I welcome everyone!
I'm going to buy a bread maker.
I ask you to advise and help me in choosing.
After reading different reviews, I realized that there are a lot of negative things about Mulinex, because they are not very reliable, in contrast to Panasonic.
Is this a myth or is it?
Actually, I wanted to bake baguettes and I didn't quite understand if it is possible to bake baguettes in Panasonic, even if they are not baguette-shaped.
Vladimir006
Thank you, I understand, but here's a specific question about the quality of Mulinex, because I like its functionality, but the reviews are not very good, it seems.
I want to buy a HP that would run the maximum number of programs, but the main thing is the reliability of the HP itself.
and I would also very much like a baguette, perhaps not in the form of a baguette.
the price of HP does not matter much.
I would prioritize like this:
reliability
dispenser
baguette
number of programs.

I have a mulinex bakery with baguette baking dishes. So these forms are gathering dust on my shelf, since the baguettes are very small: 4 pieces 15 cm long and weighing 100g. After a long preparation of the dough (2 hours) and then baking (45 minutes), my husband took all the hot dogs at once, but I didn't get it. But we no longer have the strength to wait another 3 hours to prepare the second batch. So I knead the dough in the bread maker and bake the baguettes in the oven. So I find the baguette mold completely useless.

buy any bread maker, in any there is a * dough * program, make dough for baguettes in cotton, mold with your hands and bake baguettes in the oven. It is advisable to buy a mold for baguettes.

Thanks everyone for the answers!
While I'm leaning towards Panasonic 257.
we'll see.
I understood everything about the baguettes, apparently it will be just French bread
not yet ready for culinary feats.

So my one-year-old dream has come true - now I also have BREAD !!!
Long dreamed of Panasonic, but the "toad strangled" mercilessly, and her husband was categorically against it. And on the weekend we accidentally got into a special offer in the store, and now I have Moulinex OW200036, such a beautiful orange !!!Which bread maker to buy?
The first white bread according to the recipe from the instructions turned out great, but, as I understood, the trouble with all the mules is the white roof even on a dark crust. I had to put it in the oven for a minute under the grill. A kilogram loaf was made in the evening.
Second, the pizza dough is excellent !!!
The third village from the instruction is good, but the roof is blushed in the oven.Which bread maker to buy?Which bread maker to buy?
And still I'm so happy !!!

Hello, dear forum users! I really need your help. I read perhaps 3/4 of the topics about the choice of a bread machine, and ... I got completely confused. We decided to give the parents a "helper", but since they themselves do not have such a miracle, the choice is difficult. Help!!!
The following things are important:
1.reliability (since they live in a village, the problem with the service, if God forbid that, will be very relevant),
2.the Russian menu (and in general, since they are under seventy, so that it is not very clever, and the display is readable ... although they overcome the computer a little))
3. The possibility of baking rye, Borodino bread, preferably without playing with the programs, but: fell asleep-pressed-took out the finished bread
So far I have only found the Panasonic 255, which seemed to fit. Maybe there are any similar (and possibly more suitable for our requests) HP? The purchase will be made in Moscow, so I think the question of finding HP according to your advice will not be difficult. I hope very much for your help!
Sherly
Thanks for the advice! In Mulinex, I was very confused by the number of complaints about marriage and breakdowns (and to be honest, I was surprised too ... there used to be teapots of this company, a meat grinder, which is probably already 12 years old, is also alive and well ... therefore, I watched them almost the first turn ... and then read the reviews, looked at the forum voting on the reliability of the HP, and somehow I don't dare ......)

Unfortunately, there is such a thing ... Although I have two HPs, both Mulinex, the first 4th year went, the second half of the year. I will tell you excellent stoves (there are no complaints at all), but after reading numerous complaints I am more and more inclined to think that I was just lucky (t-t-t) ...
Gypsy
it's not even about breakdowns, but about the color of the bread, you don't even need to go far, more than five posts of the photo is an excellent indicator of the lack of mulinexes.
Sherly
Thank you! I finally leaned towards Panasonic, although there are already 257 models (I hope that the announced new coating will really turn out to be stronger)) While choosing a gift, I came to the conclusion. that I myself desperately need HP So, I hope to join your friendly ranks in the near future
Gypsy
Sherly, I would also advise you to look at a small size x \ n for a loaf of 450-500 gr. They are small, inexpensive, have a minimum of buttons (no display at all) - the most for the elderly. Many on the forum have them, photos of bread were also exhibited - beautiful
Sherly
Thanks for the advice! I looked, because the small weight of the roll would be just - the parents live together. But for some reason I did not see that all three of our conditions were combined in one stove. Especially the question of reliability ... since they are far from services, and broken equipment 200 km away - health, alas, is not the same ... but we are far away
Gypsy
I have not heard on the forum that they break. I think even if it breaks, it's easier to buy a new one, look how much they cost.
see photo for comparison

As an option, of course, it is possible))) Please, tell me, what brands are we talking about? That is, which of them bake rye bread according to the fill-in-take-out principle? It's just that our dad is a lover of rye bread.
Gypsy
Binaton, Supra, Rollsen, Ariet ... they are all almost the same. I asked the owners if they bake black bread, they say they bake. But I do not know what kind of bread you are, 50 wheat and 50 rye are also considered rye. In principle, what you fall asleep is what any stove will bake. Ask the owners about rye in their topics, otherwise not everyone looks here.

is the information accurate? why can't other stoves do the same? I just didn't bake pure rye myself, but not because my oven wouldn't bake it, but because I don't eat. But I read that in Panasonic the owners help the oven to knead the dough for black bread with a spoon.

More precisely, there is nowhere in Panasonic there is a "Rye" mode and a spatula for it

I have an LG-201 bread maker. She is about 8 years old. It bakes great bread, but I would also like to have such an oven that bakes muffins, and not sweet bread, which I don't like and charlottes. I wish it was simple to operate too ..

Sherly, yet what kind of rye recipe are you talking about? Judging by this forum, people do not bake pure rye, but everyone bakes with the addition of wheat flour (and more often more wheat). If your rye has wheat flour in the recipe, then any, absolutely any stove bakes it according to your principle fell asleep-turned-got... Perhaps purely rye, too, anyone will just bake such purely rye recipes herself.

The fact of the matter is that this is such a model that it does not have a separate function for baking, which is why I want a new, more perfect bread maker. For more than a month I have been visiting the site and don't know what to choose.

Convenient stove, once you liked it, take it! Everything bakes very well. It differs from Panasonic 257 in the presence of a second comb blade for rye flour, which is not very helpful when stirring. The shovel can be bought separately, the price is about 20 USD. e.
The lack of a Rye Bread program is also not essential. How it is easy to solve with HP can be read here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=9345.0
If cost is of the essence, then the choice is smart.

Take better 257 - I myself chose between these two models 256 and 257 for a long time, chose 257 I am very satisfied, it is an order of magnitude better (do not throw the owners of 256 with slippers)

Between 256 and 257 Panasonic difference
for money - 1000-1300 rubles.
functional in 257
extra paddle (IMHO-2 is better than one if it breaks. Although unlikely, there is always a replacement)
-additional mode (always useful)
-dispenser-no need to wait for a signal. Pledged ingredients and free for 4 hours.
I figured it was worth an extra 1 t. P.
Moreover, you cannot add points 2 and 3 to 256.
But this is my choice and I do not impose it on anyone.
In any case, the panson deserves a choice.
At least 256 at least 257.

By choosing 256, you lose nothing compared to 257.
I have 255 panasik, the functions are the same as in 257; during the year of operation, I used a mixer for rye bread only once, because all the time I forgot about it and put a usual mixer for rye and everything was. I used the dispenser only 3 - 4 times. The last time the dispenser did not work at all, the raisins with candied fruits lay there safely until the end of baking. Therefore, let it be better that cotton squeaks when the time comes to put the fillers in the cake than to be deceived by it.
COOLER
To each his own.If I bake with rye flour, I put a scallop, if white is normal.

If I pass the kitchen, I take off the top cover and look.
But not always.
I had to poke with a spatula once when raisins and small nuts soaked in cognac, despite stirring with flour, were one conglomerate.
Dry candied fruits and izm sleep without problems
If I look that the dispenser has emptied the contents, I close the lid. If not, then there are no problems either.
And I wouldn't hear a squeak

My wife and I are planning to buy HP. Well, and of course the question of choice arose. It is imperative for my wife that HP, among other things, must be able to bake dietary bran bread... How suitable are the Panasonic 256/257 models for this purpose? Do they know how to do this - or what other models are more rational for this purpose? Is there such a recipe? What is your advice on this matter?

In theory, perhaps this stove and feast for the eyes and many others with a rye program are available, and what is rye baking, what nonsense is eco. The dough was kneaded, it rose and baked for 60-90 minutes at 180C to get happiness.
With the latter, however, for some reason, not everything is so fun in the topic of rye.

I have a good old stove LG-201 ... the bread bakes amazing !!!!!! Sometimes I bring bread to work, it leaves with a bang. With this stove, there are no problems at all, I measure everything out with glasses and spoons. attached to this stove, I don’t bother with grams at all, as in Panasonic .. The stove is already 8 years old !! There is no special rye bread program, but she bakes this bread too. I never move away from the instructions, the stove for 8 years has never failed !!!!!!!! Therefore, I do not understand people who shout: only Panasonic ... My friend Moulinex is also very happy ..

I can draw an analogy with a photo.
There are DSLRs for Kenona, Nikona, Panasonic, Samsung, Pentax, Olympus (we won't talk about Leiki and Hasseli - this is another niche).

So, not a single normal commercial photographer will work with Panasonic, Samsung, Pentax, Olympus. And not because show-off, but because the result is important ..

So it is here. I have an Sd-253 from 2005, about a year ago I bought Moulinex 5004. After several baking sessions, there was a burning need to give it to me, which I successfully did.
And old woman 253 is still working.

In general, all bread makers cope with ordinary baked goods and you can get decent bread in them.
Well, seal the window with foil, for example, in some HP models, and the crust will turn red better, this is tolerable. The list goes on.
The fun starts with heavy baking, I want rye and a lot. Baking it is somewhat more complicated, there is no time, but it is eaten quickly. What to do? Bake a large loaf. Here's an example - 1650 gr .:
Which bread maker to buy?
With a rye loaf 1650 gr. many bread makers, to put it mildly, will just stop working, and Panasonic bakes and bakes, although he also has a second comb spatula for rye bread, from such an amount of dough it still slightly sags, but Panasonic works. There is something to think about.
In Panasonic, in addition to the high price, a large and powerful motor with burnout protection. Very reliable and quiet mechanics. The oven is very quiet, which is not the least important for baking your morning breakfast roll.
Open the HP from below and see and touch how powerful this node is in Panasonic.
The difference in HP is already visible in the store, take out the bucket and compare it with a bucket from another stove, for example, the same Panasonic.
What can I say.
How to bake such a loaf, see here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=9345.0
Many people bake rye bread once a week on weekends, not because of a good life, there is simply no time, here is an example: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=9345.0
And there is something you want.
And so, of course, all HPs bake bread and you can get used to getting a decent result in all.

My first bread maker was Japanese, it was also assembled in Japan .. in those days there were only three programs in the ovens, one of which was * yeast dough *. You, Vanya28you will probably be surprised, but even then (almost 20 years ago) there were windows in Japanese stoves, the window did not affect the ruddy crust. So, I mean, I can't even imagine x \ n without a window for myself, I NEED TO SEE my bread kneading, rising and baking. I do not use foil in the current Chinese cheap stove, I do not cover it with anything .. I read about these manipulations only here. I don't need this.

do not be lazy then and go to the website of the service centers and see what spare parts are offered for which bread makers. The point is that there are spare parts for those models that most often fail. To Kenwood and Panasonic only spatulas. Non-brand models are good for the price and bake anything, but they either start to strip off Teflon in a bucket in a week, or the oil seals fail in a year. Repair of such stoves consists in buying a new bucket, at a cost comparable to buying a new one of the same model. And they react to the voltage in the network to the detriment of the quality of the bread. I already have Alaska and LV without buckets. True, I sometimes use them only for baking.
