Cabbage lasagna

Ingredients

Cabbage 18 large leaves
Minced meat any about 1kg
boiled rice 300gr
Champignon 300 g
Carrot 300 g
Onion 3 heads
Tomato sauce or tomato seasoning 2 tbsp
For the sauce
Butter 50 g
Olive oil 50gr
Wheat flour 3 tbsp. l
Cream 10% 500 g
Meat broth 500 g
Salt, spices, ground nutmeg taste
cheese 400 g

Cooking method

  • First, let's prepare everything you need.
  • Let's go to the sauce. Let's make Bechamel. Heat butter (rast and butter) in a skillet, add flour and fry a little. Fill with broth and mix well the flour until completely dissolved, without lumps, gradually diluting with cream. Salt and add ground nutmeg.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Cover with a lid - let it brew.
  • I cut the cabbage at the stump in depth, so that later the sheets can be easier to disassemble. I immerse it in a deep large saucepan and fill it with water. I cover it with a lid. I bring to a boil and boil over low heat for 20 minutes with the stump down, the stump up and on the sides. In the process of cooking, I remove the sheets as they lag behind the swing.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • This procedure is necessary to soften the cabbage leaves. If you are lucky and you have your own cabbage or you are preparing this dish with spring cabbage, then, of course, it is enough to scald the leaves. But in our area, cabbage is made from iron. Sheets are like wire and scalding is like pellet for an elephant. I don't even know why, but it is very hard. I even crumble a cabbage salad, and then boil it a little in water. Otherwise VERY tough.
  • Further in the leaves you need to either cut off or beat off a thick vein. This number doesn’t work for me - the baby is either asleep or immediately demands hammers the same as those of the mother and also thresh.
  • Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry in vegetable oil. Add coarsely chopped onions. Fry the onions until transparent and add tomato paste (sauce or seasoning). Fry a little more.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Chop the champignons. I use raw - does not disturb the taste and gives the juice needed for stewing.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Minced meat
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • (here beef is completely cooked, that is, with onions, garlic, salt and spices) I use raw, do not fry. Again, due to the hardness of the cabbage. It takes a long time to bake and prepare the minced meat. Again, meat juice is released, which stews the dish.
  • Rice
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • I boil it in Mushroom mivina with the addition of salt and turmeric for taste and color.
  • Let's pick lasagna.
  • Grease the form with rast oil and Bechamel sauce. Lay out the cabbage leaves
  • Cabbage lasagnacut at the base to straighten
  • Cabbage lasagna.
  • It should be laid out so that the sides of the form are adorned with sheets. Miss Béchamel again. Lay out a layer of minced meat
  • Cabbage lasagna.
  • Then a layer of rice Cabbage lasagna
  • mushrooms
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • layer of carrots with onion and tomato
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Next, cover with cabbage
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Then grease with Béchamel
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Then again minced meat, rice, mushrooms and onions = carrots = tomato. Cover with cabbage and grease with Béchamel. Sprinkle generously with cheese.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • We put in a cold oven. We bake at 200-220 for about an hour. We check the caputsu for softness and if in doubt, then more. Mine stood for 1.5 hours.
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Cabbage lasagna
  • Cabbage lasagna

Note

DO NOT SPILL LIQUIDS, as mushrooms and minced meat will give liquid.
If you like salt, add a little salt and pepper to each layer of cabbage. Consider that minced meat with salt, rice and salt!

I love her very much. You won't surprise anyone with an ordinary one, but try cabbage.
And yet - I advise you to try it for the first time without rice. I add for satiety - three sons and a husband - selyavi.
I have a large shape - 3.6 liters, measuring 36 by 26.
The lasagna is obtained with a slide over the sides - it's not scary.
In the process of baking, the slide above the sides decreases, so that it will not burst through the top.
I advise there is after cooling, then it is well cut. Delicious especially on the second day.
But all the proportions are approximate, since nobody canceled the flight of fantasy. And every time I do and change something.
Once upon a time I saw the recipe at Nastya Skripkina. Changed in life.
With love, Your Tumanchik

Thanks and good luck! Try without rice first.

We called it "Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls", but of course without embellishment (mushrooms, cheese, bechamel sauce) I think this recipe is much tastier. I took it to the bookmarks.

Thank you! today I will cook very much I love cabbage in any form, a wonderful recipe.

Irish, a little remark, if you will allow, you can do easier with cabbage, cut the stump and send it to the microwave, putting it down. After 10 minutes (if the swing is large) it is very easy to disassemble.
sima12
I already want this lasagna, it tastes good to me even at sight, but I can imagine what it tastes like
We will definitely try, thanks for such a recipe !!!

No dear with our cabbage such numbers do not pass. It is necessary to cook it specifically. To understand it, it will burst, but it will still be very tough and the leaves will stand to death. She is crossed with hedgehogs or something ...

So it is there and boil too, the leaves become completely plastic, you try it once. It gets very hot, much more than in a pot of boiling water. That's the only thing I do for stuffed cabbage. In general, the truth is, cabbage has become completely different from before, probably for sure it is crossed with hedgehogs. Very tight. Finding a more or less soft head of cabbage in the store is generally not realistic, you take a small swing. and it weighs as much as before.

Wait a minute! So, you mean just put? Without water? Is it just straightforward?
kil
Yes, it's that simple, I put it in a transparent microwave container, well, the saucepan is ...
Cabbage lasagna this is how it looks later (well, this is already in the form of cabbage rolls, but you can see that it is almost transparent).
Well, just very hot right away ...

Moreover, the lower leaves are softer than the upper ones, and if there is a lot of cabbage, sometimes I turn the swing over or remove the required amount of leaves from the head (already easily and without breaks) and scroll a little more in the microwake. but no need to mess with boiling water and water and pots.

Vaughn kaaak! Wow!
I remember that somewhere on the site someone already mentioned this method. But I missed this information, because I remember exactly that this person does not have a stove in his house, in principle! So I thought that she was cooking in a saucepan with water, but only in the microwave. But there is no akaz! Thank you, Irishkin! I will now bear this in mind!

So, girls, a minute about the microwave. We take cabbage, just put it in a container and just turn on the heating for 10 minutes? or what other mode?
Elena Tim
Irk, and Irk! Go repeat for those in the tank!
Yes, just put Natasha! Bombanet - Irka will buy a new one!

So, that means bombing. Do you cook vegetables (zucchini for example) in the microwave with water. Cabbage has enough of its liquid. You just need to cut out the stump, then cook it. And since the bottom is always baked faster, then put the cut down, well, if you really want, add some water to the bottom, there will also be a lot of steam. I set the mode to the most powerful one, I don't remember, my microwave will soon be 20 years old, but in my opinion it has 1200 power, Panasonic.

I confirm, this is the most wonderful way! I found out about him about a year ago. In general, I put the forks directly on the turntable, without any utensils, for 10 minutes, take them out (in oven mitts! Very hot!) And onto the platter. Has cooled down a little - I disassemble. If I see that the leaves are harsh, put in the microwave for another 10 minutes.
No need for a hefty pot of boiling water, no steam in the kitchen.

tumanofaaaa, you have very beautiful lasagna. Thanks for the recipe

Yeah I fly, every day in traffic jams.
And I was thinking about Vietnam.

Some talk, but mostly it is for the soul ... (my husband, I only endure, because everything is good in moderation)

I also cook cabbage for cabbage rolls for many years only in the microwave without water. And also spinach for pies, potatoes for mashed potatoes and salads, beets for everything ... yes, broccoli, you can't remember everything.
kil
How long does it take to beets?
Erhan
Irinadepends on the size. I look when ready. On average, probably 20-30 minutes. I also noticed that if you add water, it cooks longer and longer.
Yes, I also fried onions in the microwaves without oil. Liked it, only then the smell remains. I fried the garlic somehow, I liked it too, it caught fire beautifully.

Why, one wonders, did I retire my micra !!! I'll go get it, get it for the sake of the cabbage, otherwise everything is on the stove, but in the MV, since I got burned !!! And in general, this is the first time I hear about such a method - I look like the same in a tank and with hatches battened down

kil, And your birds, just lovely! The dog is big, the look is so masterful!

The husband commented briefly: "BOMB !!!!"

But I still had some incidents. The cabbage was just iron. She sat in the microwave for 20 minutes, was quite soft, the leaves came off easily, but an hour was not enough for her. I think it is worth doing, as Irina recommends, after all, cabbage of late varieties. I suspected something of this, so I immediately put out 1.5 hours and went to put my own people to bed. I came to my senses 15 minutes before the end, I come running, and the cheese on top is not just tanned, but what a tanned kapets - the blacks are nervously resting))))). Either I bought the wrong cheese, or they should sprinkle them later. I had to take it off, since it twisted easily with such a wooden roll and no one saw it. So in the photo there are two take, it's good that the cheese still remained, although I also managed to overexpose it, and put it in addition for only 30 minutes. No, the cheese is somehow wrong. And the sauce was not enough for me, you can do more. And it turned out so delicious, we liked it
Further in the leaves you need to either cut off or beat off a thick vein. This number doesn’t work for me - the baby is either asleep or immediately demands hammers the same as those of the mother and also thresh.
And this is my junior assistant, when they took away the hammer, tried to steal either minced meat or rice - she took an active part in cooking.

You are smart !!!! And your baby is just a princess and assistant! Cabbage when boiled is cooked enough to lie comfortably in the lasagna and be cooked along with the rest of the ingredients. But everyone should decide for himself !!!

I wonder if someone tried the same thing, but with salted barrel (pickled) cabbage?

Maybe the leaves will be softer and the taste more piquant ?!

A good idea. I think it will be great. But it is hardly softer - stewed cask cabbage is always harder than raw one. But in general, I really liked the idea. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the recipe! Cooked yesterday, very tasty. Special thanks for the Bechamel sauce, in so much detail. And when I did it before, then without broth it turned out to be very thick, And you have it yourself! I did it with milk, the cream was gone earlier) But I bypass Mivina, maybe I don't know why?
Girls! Thank you for the cabbage in the micro! I very rarely cook cabbage rolls precisely because of the fuss with cabbage.
