Cooking method

  • The mitlof recipe, which in translation from English (meatloaf) means meat loaf, has been known since the fifth century. I bring to your attention my version of this delicious and elegant dish.
  • Turn the meat in a meat grinder along with the bread soaked in milk. Fry chopped onions with grated carrots in vegetable oil, add chopped champignons, garlic, chopped celery stalk and, last of all, chopped parsley.

Well, it means that we are eating this charm. Before the new year, I managed to fall off with a sore throat without interrupting work (the end of the year, damn it !!!), so hungry times came in the house and any dish could enter the diet only if there was a minimum number of movements for cooking. So this is our very option !!!! We take out the minced pork from the freezer, send the messenger for a piece of beef, bacon and mushrooms. Dopletochka, you read on through the sentence. Well, there was no strength to do everything according to the rules. We take mushrooms, carrots, onions, we do not take celery (we don’t like it) and unpack it in a food processor to a state of vegetable puree. Since a part of the pieces will be thrown onto the walls by centrifugal force and we will not specially shake them off into a common chopper, they will remain intact and will pleasantly meet in the finished product. We throw it into a bowl. There is also minced pig meat (it was somehow created by an electric meat grinder). We turn the beef into a paste in a food processor and, finally, in the same place we dare to small crumbs of bread. We combine everything and add milk, an egg, all kinds of peppers and mustard, as in the recipe. From the resulting mass, we sculpt a half-cutlet figure, in the absence of a beautiful mold, we put it in a frying pan. Please note that the figure turns out to be rather small. Just for a festive feast. We put on a bacon, grease and bake. I was very afraid that it would not be baked, but everything worked out. The smell drifted through the apartment awesome. I got a helluva lot of curly bacon, so when dressing, the skin stripes turned out to be outside. They turned brown and my "cutlet" turned out to be orange with a bright ocher stripe - a tug. "Wow, you! And what is this Colorado potato beetle larva?" - the hungry husband looked over his shoulder. Dopletochka, do not be offended by him.Well, what do our men understand in the art of sculpting from minced meat? That's right, nothing! Therefore, they sniff and accidentally arm themselves with a fork, knife and all such utensils. And now, in fact, at the ready, ready to say so devour use. Very, very, very tasty! : nyam: Well that's the truth - the truth !!!! Delicate, not at all cutlet taste, interesting texture and spicy bacon - do not come off. They ate both warm and chilled, and as a sausage and with a side dish. There are no words. There is an order for repetition as soon as we finish eating. And what, and we can. With such recipes, we are not afraid of ailments! Thank you!!!

Yes it is really delicious !! One of the favorite "quick" recipes for the holiday table. And instead of bacon I wrap this "loaf" with a pig net, it also turns out very tasty!
