Snowflakes - size 10.5 cm. Pen test, so to speak, in this technique. I liked doing that.

My varnish is kind of very fast. Yolk + 1 dessert spoon of water + Ukrasovsky dry dye is diluted in it. A minute before the end of baking, I take out the gingerbread cookies from the oven, quickly smear them with varnish and - back into the oven for 1 minute. Tried it with milk, so it curls up from paint or from temperature and some grains on the gingerbread. When it becomes with water, it becomes better. But sometimes it also starts to bubble if I hold it in the oven for a longer time. The temperature is 180 degrees there. Too much for varnish. Therefore, I hold little. And if, before varnishing, I overexposed the gingerbread cookies and they are already ready, they are already enough, then I just grease the gingerbread immediately after taking it out and no longer put it in the oven. The varnish on a hot gingerbread and so immediately dries and sterilizes. And earlier I added 1 tbsp for 1 yolk. l of water or milk, it was so thin, everything flowed from the gingerbread. Now 1 dec. I make a spoon, it's already better, but you need to look at the size of the yolk, the eggs are different, in general, to catch the required density empirically.
