Cooking method

  • Delicious, not too sweet roll with a characteristic poppy pattern. You can make it with your favorite pastry.
  • Cooking the dough
  • Mix warm milk, yeast, a tablespoon of flour from the total amount and a tablespoon of sugar from the total amount and let stand in a warm place for 25-20 minutes until a fluffy cap appears.

Remove from heat, add slightly beaten eggs, zest and lemon juice, liqueur. Cover and leave in a warm place until swollen.

  • We take out the dough and roll it into a rectangular layer 1.5 cm thick. From this amount, you can make two rolls or one very !!! large ! In general, I did half the serving and divided all the ingredients in half.

We transfer the layer of dough onto the paper, spread the poppy filling along the long side of the layer, stepping back 2 cm from the edge, trying to divide it into exactly two parts.
