Dear newbies !! and also old-timers themes !!

Before asking questions, I ask you to go to the first page of our Temka !!
I assure you, there is a lot of interesting and useful information !!

DaNiSa, Alain, do you remember the anecdote: mom barked at the children so much - "put away the toys and sleep" - that the neighbors above and below did a general cleaning and fell asleep at 21:00. So I went to the first page and refreshed in my memory some aspects of You remind me more often. It's helpful.
elena88
I also want to say that newbies do not even know about the existence of content on the first page. It was for this reason that she suggested making a "header" over the page. So that the calluses on the tongue do not rub every time. I once lived on an embroidery website until it was shut down for piracy. So they made such a permanent banner there and it was very convenient.
pssaha
elena88, I don't think that this will help either)) We all want it faster))
To be honest, for more than a year I have been reading HP from the first pages ... after all, so much information is useful ...! I was afraid to miss something)
elena88
pssaha, Tan, and I accidentally got on the first page. I was just looking for an answer to one question on icing in Yandex. And wandered around in different forums. And she was not going to stay on HP. Following the link, I got into the middle of the topic, read several pages, dig deeper into the HP search engine. I couldn't find the answer, but I found someone's information about what was on the first page ... and so on. So I accidentally discovered the content. And many may not find it.
tanyashi
excuse me, of course! But I didn't come here to spread the gingerbread and read the praises! I want to try something new, discuss something, how it turns out, this way and that! I saw this post in the header, but there is just a couple of lines about it, that's it! I beg your pardon for taking your time and bringing more calluses to your languages! And I don't want to "fast", I just wanted to reveal this topic!
pssaha
tanyashi, Tanya, do not be offended !!!! Crackle always comes with a good quality white dye, since the% titanium dioxide content is higher.
Therefore, there are a couple of lines ... nothing complicated ...
True, no one wanted to offend !!! Ask!) What did you fail?
Vei
tanyashi, Tatyana, I don’t understand your reaction at all, we least of all want to rub calluses on our tongues (to be honest, generally shocked by such turns!). It is customary for us to exhibit our work and comment on others' work in order to take into account all the mistakes that are more visible from the outside, or to solve the difficulties encountered in the process. Sometimes it's easy to get advice on different work topics. But we always do this in a friendly and voluntary manner!

In craquelure, there is nothing complicated or, in principle, worthy of attention IMHO. I cannot tell you what you did wrong, because you did not explain your problem, you didn’t show the gingerbread, you didn’t describe your recipe. We have what we have, it is laid out on the first page, and all this information (on craquelure, in any case) is quite enough. If you do not understand everything, then clarify your question, and do not present a claim. And believe me, I will be at the forefront to help you!
pssaha
Girls, but you can bring here a recipe for gingerbread from Judith, on the page of Tanya Khegai somehow came across ... I didn't seem to find it here .. Although it is very similar to the Mezeshkalach recipe ...
Here baked)

I would also feel offended, the girls pounced in such a tone. I am also new and I don’t even know how to upload pictures I’m sitting in silence, I haven’t even registered Tanyashi, write me a message, we’ll chat with you about all kinds of effects)

Liz, I wrote this in my previous post without regard to anyone, but about Alenin's message on the first page. Well, honestly, if I knew that it would turn like this, it would be better to keep silent.
elena88
pssaha, Tan, and you draw it here, and a separate topic. If it does not look like the ones that already exist.
pssaha
Vikasweet, Vika, no one pounced on, what are you!)) Yes, and "in tone" ... There are a lot of topics, but everyone is trying to find the time and answer!
True. If the problem was described in detail, they would immediately answer briefly!)
Let's be polite!))

No, what are you
I myself suffered for a long time when I began to bake cakes and paint gingerbread (the fashion was for Dutch gingerbread cookies) there were only forums. And every time they asked a question, they sent me to study 100 pages back and discussed how stupid and lazy I was, and there they printed 100 pages per day of such garbage (there were no moderators) I cried, took offense, but there was nowhere else to find out information - books, ancient computers, long internet in the wilderness of Kazakhstan and friends! Moved to Germany, learned everything
Now visiting a friend, I teach her daughter to paint gingerbread! What am I talking about, it's not difficult to tenderly address a person and just show or tell something that he simply did not notice! He will thank you kindly and the topic will close on a good note! I am always for new beginnings and keen interest!
It's harder for beginners than you
Maybe they will teach you something

I would also feel offended, the girls pounced in such a tone.
WHAT tone? I specifically came back and reread all the questions and answers, there were no sharp, cold or offensive answers and comments!
so somewhere, but here on HP in all confectionery topics (and not only in confectionery) such oil pours on the heads of newcomers that you will not find anything like this anywhere else! You go to BB or Samovar, that's where you'll think 100 times before writing or asking a question!

we discussed craquelure on the topic, all this was brought to the first page, everyone who was interested in it tried it and did not encounter any difficulties. If Tanya had problems with him, then she had to at least explain what kind, what exactly does not work, show a photo of what happened. Here, no one ever clamps anything in terms of recipes / secrets and information... Dilute white American gel with starch and powder to a gruel and apply with a soft brush on the gingerbread. The thicker the layer, the larger the cracks. I don't see any difficulties. If there is no American, then titanium dioxide is taken, then you can start discussing what to replace, took the dioxide, but the cracks did not work, diluted in such and such proportions, applied in such and such a layer, dried so much, the photo is like this!
I'm still waiting for specifics to help, otherwise, what can you suggest or fix? We were asked about craquelure, how we make it, we sent it to where it was said.
Where am I wrong?

Me too: sorry: it looks rough, but no offense, hearts are probably too much

I just wanted to reveal this topic!
What recipe do you have? I can't do it either. I think it's all about the dye. I have a dry ukrasovsky. To be honest, I have already waved my hand at this craquelure
pssaha
tuskarora, Elena, you're not offended?) Not?))
And then I’m already afraid to comment) ...
What was the idea? ..It looks like there are a lot of hearts and colors ... Here is one big bright one, and around there are pale roses, the flowers are not voluminous and the background is beige, not white)
elena88
ledi, Vera, thank you! Glad you like it These are recipe gingerbread Lera sahara, Hungarian varnish and icing. On one gingerbread I painted icing with kandurin. Did not like. It turns out sloppy. It is impossible to paint over all the white areas. Initially, it was necessary to make a pattern with brown icing, and then to chandelier. And so ooooooo long and carelessly, no matter how hard you try.
elena88
tuskarora, but I liked the fill. Very even!
pssaha
ledi, Vera, nothing will work with this dye ... it's not your business .. Buy a gel or dry dye and everything will work out.
I'm not talking to the right - to the left to paint each gingerbread crackle ... A couple of pieces for creativity)
tuskarora
What are you people? This is when I was offended? I am only grateful for all the comments. I’m saying, I don’t like something, but I don’t understand what. Gingerbread is for household needs (I will hand it over to my spouse) so it's okay, he is delighted with any of my creations. But for myself I want to figure it out .... But ... I have a lack of artistic taste, you know.

Larissa u, Larochka, thanks for the praises! Something you rarely come to see us Show something interesting from your creations.
Yes, I do not come in rarely, I rarely write, I admire your work. The only trouble was with my daughter, my child almost lost sight, I hope that everything worked out. And there is almost no moral strength for creativity. I do something to order, there are more cakes, I just have to. Now I will shake off a little, then illumination may come. I tried to draw tulle, I'm not very happy, but I understood the principle. As I can, I will work

And for the New Year, I made such boxes for my relatives, with fresh flowers, cookies and pasta.
She also decorated the boxes herself. The gifts were simply unpacked in wild delight, I did not expect.
They said now they only want such gifts. Nice, knowingly tried

Larisochka, the boxes are cool, straight vintage, great! And the tulle on the heart is just like living. And where do we have something about tulle? (It's even scary to ask if it's on the first page.)))
pssaha
Mona1, Tanya, and who are you already scared, huh?

Tatyana is a joker, however!

Larissa u, Larissa, very wonderful gifts! I would also be delighted with such a box!
Your macarons are gorgeous! Do you make them in Italian or French merengue? Can you provide a link to a proven recipe?
Katerina79
Girls, I'm 20 pages behind. Now I'm catching up with you :)
What a great fellow!

This is in French, I do it in Italian too, I like the first ones more.
It's not about a proven recipe, they are all proven (now I absolutely don't care what recipe to make, they need to be "felt"
Larissa u
pssaha, yes, Tan, that's right, the principle is the same. it's easier on paper or wood, of course, it was on paper that I made my first attempts
Larissa u
Girls are dear !!
Thanks a lot, everyone!
And newcomers are welcome, we are very glad to see you. There are some who misunderstood someone. No. There is no aggression here, never mind. Let's spit on any suspicions and we will live in harmony, than our "stove" compares favorably with many sites!
tuskarora
Larissa U, Larisochka, such gifts are simply gorgeous! And the tulle is so delicate! You are a real artist! Health to you and your father!
elena88
Larissa u, oh, Larochka! I just looked into the topic. What a fine fellow you are! I really liked the tulle. I want it too, but not enough time yet. And what wonderful gifts! You are a master craftswoman. Come to your senses and come back to us more often. Your health daughter and you and your whole family. I also want macarons, I have already read a lot of things, but my hands will never reach it. This must be taken once by the collar and done. Then yes. And so I'll get ready before Chinese Easter.

I tried to draw tulle

Larochka, you know how much I love you and your work, but to be honest, this is the work I don't like. starting from such an elongated heart shape (that's not how she is to me) and ending with the background, tulle and roses. I understand that this is the style, and I usually like this style, although not mine, that is, I do not work in this style. But this particular work I do not like the absolutely inedible look. Actually I don't like craquelure for the same reason, and gingerbread in such techniques and style (like Tanya Svirko) is somewhat interesting, but not gingerbread or cookies. In my opinion, everything should look delicious and beautiful at the same time. Here, everything imitates inedible textures. Tulle - drawing with chalk, the background is either clay or wood, roses ... well, the roses, in my opinion, simply did not work out, although they are the only ones that look like from salt dough, that is, like a food product. Perhaps if you made them colored and more pinkish, then they would play in contrast, it would really turn out a veil with flowers, otherwise the idea is not clear to me. This is my opinion, and I am sure that you will not be offended, because in my place you would have voiced your opinion 100%, even if it does not coincide with the general praise.

With all my heart I wish my daughter recovery and you yourself health and strength, so that you have the opportunity to do what you love!
Larissa u
Vei, Liz, what are you, what insults!
My approach to all my works is not quite like food, I want more art.
We are so different. Here I ONLY love this heart. And in no way there should be any color there, neither!
but on the other hand, the gingerbreads covered in red do not seem absolutely edible to me ... but you do just that, basically, and there are more colors!
So everyone has their own taste, that's okay.
