Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version

Ingredients

boiled beets 1 piece
canned tomatoes 2 cans 250 g each
garlic 1 head
bitter pepper 1 piece
salt 2 tsp
sugar 1 tbsp. the spoon
spice taste
vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons
water (optional) 100-150 ml

Cooking method

  • 1. Chop the boiled beets and place in the flask of the soybean machine. Add peeled garlic and chopped hot peppers, oil, salt, sugar and spices.
  • Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version
  • 2. Pour in 1 can of tomatoes. (Here they will play the role of "water" in the car, otherwise the engine will skid). If the liquid does not reach the minimum mark inside the soybean machine, add some water.
  • Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version
  • 3. Button number 3 "porridge / rice paste / pudding" - the program is automatic for 15 minutes.
  • Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version
  • 4. Remove the "head" from the soybean machine and add another can of tomatoes. Try ready-made ketchup, add salt if necessary.
  • (If you plan to roll it up, as I did, then pour it into another saucepan, bring to a boil and pour the ketchup into sterile glass containers).
  • Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version
  • Ketchup in a soy cow / soy milk maker (Midea Mi-5) - winter version

The dish is designed for

Approximately 1.5 liters.

Time for preparing:

5 minutes preparation, 15 minutes preparation

Cooking program:

button number 3

Note

Note 1. To taste boiled beetroot is almost not felt, but it gives a rich bright scarlet color to the finished ketchup. With raw beets, I didn't really like it, the taste is too noticeable and the texture of the sauce is not so uniform.

Note 2. If you don't like beets, replace them with a jar of tomato paste.

Note 3. To prevent the sauce from being too hot, remove the seeds and white streaks from the hot pepper.

Note 4. I will add that the summer version of "glass" store tomatoes does not roll.

In the summer I do it differently.
1. Scroll fresh tomatoes cut into slices on the button No. 4 "juices / self-cleaning / grinding without heating".
2. Add chopped hot and sweet peppers, garlic, sugar, salt, spices, oil and a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste for a brighter color (optional).
3. Then, as in the above recipe - button number 3 - with heating for 15 minutes and pour the finished ketchup into the jars.

Helen - mur_myau - thanks for the sauce!
(I had a glitch in the morning, so I wrote in gratitude - "Thanks for the co")

What spices do you add and in what proportions?
I checked all the spices to my taste, wrote it down, but I haven't cooked for a long time, and somewhere I touched that leaflet with proportions ...

Yeah, I see.)))

You are welcome! Cook for health.
Usually I put red chili (I like spicy), black pepper, dried thyme.
Another tasty combination is basil and nutmeg.
In my mood, I can scroll an apple without a skin with tomatoes + Indian spices (garam masala). In general, you need to put what seems delicious personally to the cook.

By the way, I read about apple and mint sauce here, I will try to make it in a cow. You just need to buy apples. It should be fragrant.

I took it from an intermediary from St. Petersburg, I can throw it in a personal. But abroad, the choice is better, and prices can be found lower. But wait longer for customs to pass.

Under the avatar under the phrase "Where:" there is a house - this is now a profile, and next to the house is a picture for sending a personal message.

julifera, Thank you!

Lenochka, I tried to make ketchup according to your recipe from fresh tomatoes!
I am delighted with the result!
Following your advice, I first chopped the tomatoes with a little water in the Juice / Wash program, and then added everything according to the recipe + tomato paste and turned on the Wet Beans program (the one that makes soy milk from soaked soy).
And that's it! Fast, tasty and ketchup!
His color turned out to be funny - completely orange, I did it without beets, next time I will definitely add it so that the color is more saturated. And you can do that, it turned out very tasty! It's nice to dip even bread into it!
So my next thank you Lenochka, and for the recipe, and for telling about this wonderful device!

Amazing nearby. I had the strangest thing - pink sauce.)) But there was no yellow yet.
Maybe remove oil when cooking? I have noticed that it "brightens" the final product slightly.
And more tomato paste.
Or a slice of boiled beets for color.

By the way, it is also delicious to add an apple without skin and seeds to ketchup.

And what is the technical trick of splitting the tomato part into two stages?
One part at once - one after?
mur_myau
Zvezda askony,
I didn't quite understand whether the "winter" or "summer" option was meant.

I don't add everything right away, so that, firstly, not to overload the machine (not to exceed the upper mark), and, secondly, adding tomatoes at the end improves the texture of the sauce. I usually use canned tomatoes without the skin in pieces (Italian, Hungarian).

If you are talking about the "summer" option, then grind at the first stage so that the tomatoes play the role of a liquid. If you grind everything at once along with pepper and garlic, the machine slips. There was even a case when it turned off for a while and the engine cooled down.
Zvezda askony
All is clear, thank you!
Anise
Here, take 2, from fresh tomatoes with the addition of beets. If the first ketchup was tasty, but more like vegetable caviar, then this one turned out to be almost indistinguishable in appearance from the store one. And the taste is great! So I'll leave the recipe for use. Anyone need a ratio, I sketched in grams just in case?

Anise - very necessary!
Zvezda askony
Of course you do! I have already cooked beets.
I plan with an apple - only the red pepper is not bought yet
Anise
Girls, I'm writing. At the heart, of course, is Lena's recipe.
I didn't add hot pepper.
Fresh tomato ketchup:
Tomatoes - 820 g. (8 pcs. Small, "cream" type)
Water - 60 ml (you can try and add a little less if the tomatoes are juicy)
Boiled beets - 210 g. (maybe a little less, 180 grams will be enough)
Garlic - 2 cloves
Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp l.
Salt - 2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Black and white peppercorns - 7 + 2 pieces
Olive oil - 1 tbsp. l.

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, cut into cubes. Put the "ladybugs" in the bowl, add water, turn on the Juice / Wash program (the one that only grinds).
At the end of the program, add all the remaining ingredients according to the list (cut the beets and peppers into pieces) and switch on the "Porrige" program.
I put black and white peppercorns, grinded well during cooking.
I didn't add any more spices.
Zvezda askony
Did it!
The truth has stepped on someone else's rake
But without this there is no way

Beets need small and boiled
I put it big enough and raw
As a result - a nuclear raspberry-red color - and there is a taste of beets
Garlic - I'll put more for myself - it's still winter - you need to protect yourself from viruses - 5 cloves - barely noticeable
I put spices
thyme
rosemary
coriander
ground white pepper
garlic
Corn porridge mode
It tastes good to me - my husband said it's better without beets - only tomatoes
When we eat - I will make a tomato version from ANIS

And I could not put the cow's head in place when I tried to cook puree soup from raw vegetables - there was not enough space (offtopic a little). How do you get out of this situation?

"Pour boiling water over tomatoes, skin them off, cut into cubes. "- more precisely
For some reason I missed in the description about skinning a tomato, only now I saw it, I apologize.

Anyuta, I push the contents of this "head" from side to side, squeezing it inward (in, wrote), but in my ladybug it is narrow at the bottom (a sort of stick with a propeller), therefore it is always installed, and only with little effort.
I can suggest this option: put in most of the vegetables that need to be cooked, add water, turn on the Juice / Wash program, which only grinds, let it grind the contents. At the end of the program, add the remaining vegetables to the resulting puree, and the "head" should fit. Switch on the main cooking program.

We must try, ATP. My cone is not narrow, but healthy.

Anna1957,
You have a joyung, if I'm not mistaken? There is such a healthy leg, like in a hand blender.
You can try to grind in two passes.
