Ingredients

Tomatoes 2 Kg
Plum 1 kg
Bulb onions 250 g
Garlic 1 PC. large
Sugar 150-200 g (to taste)

Cooking method

  • I invented a fast, easy way to cook ketchup !! I'm proud of myself.
  • Cut all vegetables (except garlic) and plums (of course, without seeds) as you like, put them in a slow cooker and cook for 1 hour on Milk Porridge / Soup / Pastry. Usually this time is enough. If not enough, prolong the process. Do not stir anything in the bowl !! Then drain the resulting liquid !! It is transparent, almost colorless, but, of course, it is the juice of those vegetables and fruits that were cooked. Therefore, it is useful as a base for dough, bread and cold soups, as a liquid for rolling cucumbers and tomatoes, and so on.
  • Purée the cooked fruits and vegetables with a blender, add everything, everything, everything, cook until the desired consistency ... well, then everything is as always.

The dish is designed for

Try to drain the juice longer - maybe pour it into a colander and leave it for an hour ... More juice will drain - it will be thicker. Also, for thickening, you can continue to cook in a multicooker with an open lid or on the stove in a Teflon pan without a lid (only a multicooker or a pan with a mesh or the same colander to cover it to prevent splashing): the liquid will evaporate faster. Can be thickened with starch, like in this ketchup (by the way, also uncomplicated and deliciously delicious! I don't even know which one is better).
