Pork stewed in pomegranate juice

Ingredients

Pork 1 kg.
Bulb onions 0.5 kg.
Red wine, dry 1 tbsp.
Pomegranate juice 1 tbsp.
Pepper, salt, herbs, sauce individually after preparation

Cooking method

  • In the original, the recipe and cooking process taken on one of the Georgian sites * looked like this:
  • Cut the beef into pieces, put them in a saucepan and put them on fire. While the meat is juicing and browning, mix finely chopped onion and pomegranate juice in a separate bowl. Then add to the meat and simmer.
  • Beef - 1 kg
  • Onions - 500 grams
  • Pomegranate juice - 1 glass
  • Pepper, salt - to taste
  • Your Option:
  • It differs from those existing in Runet, not only by the modified step-by-step process of cooking meat using an open fire, but also by the introduction of dry, red wine into the recipe. Pomegranate juice, unlike similar recipes, is not used as a marinade, in the initial stage, but at the final stage - for stewing.
  • Pork stewed in pomegranate juice

Time for preparing:

45 minutes

I look at all the recipes taken from foreign sites, and I just want to say "I've already seen this somewhere .... I don't remember where, but it looks so much like ...." and I want to quote:
“Nobody cooks by themselves. Even if a chef is completely secluded, he is backed by generations of past chefs, advice and menus from contemporary chefs, and the wisdom of cookbook compilers. "

Laurie Colvin, writer (1944 - 1992)

It was, it was, all this has already happened ... everything that we fry-steam-cook every day, on holidays, all together or separately, we only distantly repeat each other, swapping something ...
So far, the original recipe has not been found, from the execution of which I would like to say AH! And drown with delight and what he saw !!!! , read the history of the recipe, the dish, the history of the people, the city, the village where the dish was brought from ... and how interesting you can present all this !!!, with videos, pictures, stories, traveling in the footsteps of culinary recipes ...
And not just read reports and a scan that nowhere else such a recipe has not been found on the Internet

This is just my personal opinion, no offense to specific authors and performers of these recipes presented in the competition.

I am more than sure that it is the search for this rarest recipe that you are now doing, rummaging through the mountains of information on foreign-language sites. In the meantime, he eludes you, you share your works with the audience ... after all, there really was so much already and it would seem - Here he is! But no ... there was, there was already this recipe. Where is it only? I would remember. Or I'm wrong? Maybe you don't have time for such nonsense? Maybe the slogans are still simpler? Share your lyrics in the forum thread, and not under the post cut, then I will be sure that you are not "hooked" by this particular recipe. Hope to see you in the contest soon.

Yes, God forbid !!!! Offense is the best defense!

I just live, cook what is acceptable for myself and my family, on the forum I expose what I prepared myself under the terms of the Forum Rules! And I have already said everything about this for a long time, in my post, here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=110140.0, after the words "I want to remind everyone ..."

I will take part in the competition when I have something to say and what to share and surprise (it means that there is no such thing yet, call me) .... but for now I have the right to express my opinion about the recipes submitted to the competition, because they are for this in the public domain ...

And do not go on to discuss personalities, this is not included in the terms of the competition

Well, in the meantime, until THIS moment "when I will have what to say and what to share and surprise" I would like to hear more constructive, and not offtopic. Although here you are right, so far that you and I do not have equal positions with regards to this competition so that there is actually nothing to discuss, including the person. To continue the dialogue, please prepare or postpone the topic for general discussion in the competition forum.
