Maybe your idol Redmond is not a pressure cooker, but just a cartoon? Otherwise, what is this soup in SCW with "last 20 minutes"? Yesterday I described how borscht cooked, my main time was 25 minutes (and that due to the fact that the offal were from domestic chickens "long-playing", and it could have been less, in the last three (additional) minutes I have the cabbage is cooked in. Now, if a simple MV, then yes, such a time for cooking is normal.
Well, what am I talking about !!! Pay that kind of money, and cook soup for an hour!
By the way, about borscht, I generally throw in cabbage for 1 minute - until the pressure builds up, it will boil for a minute, and then until it releases the pressure (even if it is forced) - during this time both cabbage and noodles are ready (in the case of soup).
Lud-Mil @
Yes, I read here in Temka that cabbage can be thrown into borscht for one minute, but I didn't dare, I decided to try it for three, in principle it's normal, soft, but not overcooked. I'll try it for a minute another time.
irysska
And somehow I still can't comprehend that cabbage and only 1 minute of time But this affects cooking on the stove in a pan, that is, a habit. At least you slap me, but I still cook borscht in a saucepan

Irisochka, it’s in vain !!! Much faster in SV! My husband, as it turned out after accidentally overcooked borscht, loves everything to be well boiled. So now I generally cook simply - I fry a fry in the SV, add everything else in it (including cabbage !!!!), and put it on for 40 minutes (the meat ingredient is beef tail). But I would still advise you cabbage - for 1 minute, my version - for an amateur.
The revealed preference of my husband reduced my efforts and time spent on cooking borscht.
Yu l and @
And in general - while the SV is gaining pressure and releasing it, the cabbage lies in steep boiling water, the total time is 20 minutes, not 1 minute! So don't be afraid of this moment. Good luck!
Lud-Mil @
Yes, some time after the pressure was released, I opened the lid, and it was still boiling! True, the gurgling stopped immediately, but I managed to see the boiling well.
My husband, as it turned out after accidentally overcooked borscht, loves everything to be well boiled.
It’s true, there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped ... but now everyone is happy.

Girls, did anyone bake bread in our pressure cooker? After all, our SV also has a baking function, theoretically it should ... Has anyone tried it?

I baked bread twice, it seems to work out fine, I exhibited a photo https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=284862.660 seems to be the case of bread without kneading.
lyudo4ka
And I baked bread. An excellent loaf came out. Knead in HP, the last proofing in Saturik on defrost for 25 minutes. and baked for 40 minutes. on the one hand and 15 on the other. And now the pros, compared to baking in KhP:
+ no holes from dough. shoulder blades
+ does not crumble when cutting (I don't know why, but after HP, it crumbles terribly)
+ bigger size.
And about cabbage in borscht, I cook in two ways: after laying the cabbage and frying for 1 minute under pressure, or in general (when you don't need to eat now) - I bring it to a boil without closing the lid, it gurgles a little and I turn it off, close it, he insists on that too time is running out. But more often I use the first option 1 min. under pressure, because waiting is not a hunt, I am very fresh, only cooked borscht
But in the option to lay everything at once (at the beginning) I do not like it, it reminds Stolovsky.

it was in Saturik that I did not bake bread, but I did bake it in a Dex60 multi - and indeed, the bread crumbles less (this is especially noticeable on the crust), and somehow it tastes better than from HP (but since laziness is fooled, I bake in HP)
Yu l and @
Oh, girls, thank you !!!! Not only will I now hold my head high in front of my godfather, but also I will probably bake bread for the weekend - they provoked me!
And the fact that the bread from the bread machine is crumbling - and we were always annoyed. Probably the best option, like Lyudochka -
Knead in HP, the last proofing in Saturik on defrost for 25 minutes. and baked for 40 minutes. on the one hand and 15 on the other.
Lud-Mil @
I report: the bread maker is kneading the dough, it has a dough program for an hour and a half, then I think, too, in Saturnichka on Defrosting, to let it rise again. How it will be baked - I will report on the photo, but it will probably already be a night.
Yu l and @
Oh, I envy!
Lud-Mil @
Julia, and your HP flows directly strongly, you won't even be able to knead? And then maybe you can quickly knead and immediately in the cartoon, then knead there a couple of times, somehow it's hard to knead with handles.
Yu l and @
To be honest, I no longer remember how serious everything is. I only remember that the last time I tried to cook jam in it, and it all ended up on the table.
But your words turned out to be the last straw - I will probably try to knead this weekend, only I will pour the liquid over, and not to the bottom. Or in general, I will stir it a little with a spoon in a separate bowl, and then transfer it to the HP. Well, it's really hot to bake something, your hands are itching!
Lud-Mil @
So the jam can run away on horseback ... In any case, you can try, at least even the way you thought up, there will already be dough, not water, it will not run away, but the bread maker will knead it anyway better.
Yu l and @
No, the jam is not on horseback, unfortunately ...

If you try, I will be very grateful - in addition to the above story, my bucket in HP also broke, it flows. And, as a sin, there is no money for a new one. And I already missed bread. True, HP for these purposes, of course, is better - you don't need to knead it yourself. But for lack of a better ...

Sorry that is not the topic, but here somewhere you can get hold of a bucket for HP? I have a DEX bm707, which has already played around with a bucket, leaking, I put a gasket there, it seems like nothing, but I would like to update it.
Lud-Mil @
Mad max, I don't know how it is with you in Ukraine, our search engines give out a bunch of "addresses, passwords, attendances" on the request "buy a bucket for a bread machine". True prices, for the price of some buckets, you can buy a new unpretentious budget HP.
Mad max
that's why I'm asking, maybe there is somewhere with adequate prices
Lud-Mil @
Well, here I am with a photo report.
In appearance, the bread was a success (I will appreciate the taste when it cools down a little), it could have been issued with a separate recipe, but the authorship is not mine, probably not worth it. I found the recipe for this bread just a couple of days ago, when I was "wandering" around various cartoon Temko, now I was trying to find the original source - it's useless, so I bring to your attention a free retelling.
Warm water 500 ml. (I used serum instead of water)
Flour 800 gr. (I poured less, I won't say for sure, probably 600 grams, followed the bun, then a little more. The bun was formed, but not tight, but a little loose, I wanted so much that the bread was not too dense).
Vegetable oil 4 - 5 tbsp. l.
Honey 1 tbsp. l.
Salt 2 tsp
Yeast - 1 tsp(I poured two, because lately I have been catastrophically unlucky with yeast, I decided to play it safe)
Cut 1 onion (this is already a gag)
I kneaded the dough in a bread maker, when the first kneading was over, added the onion, went through a full cycle of 1 hour and 30 minutes - transferred the dough into the pressure cooker. This is what I had.

I put the Defrosting for 20 minutes, when the time is up, I kneaded it, and again Defrost for 20 minutes. Here is the view after the workout.
Saturn ST-MC9184 pressure cooker multicooker (reviews)
I would like to praise Defrosting, super awesome program! You couldn't think of anything better for proving - the dough was a little lukewarm, the bowl too, no overheating, maybe even yogurt will work on it. After the second proofing, I turned on the baking for 45 minutes. The dough has risen almost to the top of the bowl.

I already shook out the bread, then turned it upside down and the Baking for another 20 minutes. Here is a finished loaf, baked on all sides. Height 10 cm.

I was just in the defrost and made both yogurt and fermented baked milk, including it periodically several times.
Lud-Mil @
Luda, yes, it's a pity that on Defrost the maximum time is only 25 minutes, if it were possible to put at least 2 - 3 hours at once, there would be a real Yogurt program. It's really not relevant to me, in addition to two multi with yogurt, but others would be useful. Although it's still good, and so you can do it, and without fear of overheating, as it can happen on Heating.
And it actually smells amazing, whey usually always turns out a very successful dough.
lyudo4ka
Yes, here I have 2 multi and 2 CBs and not one device has a full-fledged program Yogurt - sadness.
Lud-Mil @
Yes, it's a shame. Well, at least with this program you can now get out of the situation. And you also, I see, have a perfza, it is very similar to Atlanta - the first cartoon of my sister. Atlanta is also without yogurt, and my sister for a whole year, until she bought herself a Polaris Floris, very successfully made yogurt in it on the heating (she turned it on for 10 - 15 minutes once or twice), says that she keeps the temperature for a very long time.

in principle, normal, with a stove price of 700-800.
Yu l and @
We had 250 on the market, and on some site I saw 220, but there + forwarding. On HP type Alaska
Lud-Mil @
Yes, you just need to fill in the query in the search engine, as I wrote, and look through all the possible options, for sure there is an inexpensive option somewhere.
And I bake bread again, today I weighed exactly flour - 600 gr. everything is gone, and the bun is a little tighter than yesterday. I'll see if it works out okay, then I'll post the recipe, because I have practically nothing left of the original.
Lud-Mil @
Well, another bread has been baked. Bread in a multicooker-pressure cooker Saturn ST-MC9184
Has risen even a little higher than yesterday, and the weight turned out to be one hundred grams more.

Today, in addition to onions, I cut another sweet pepper finely and threw it into the dough. Baked for 40 minutes on one side and 20 on the other. I didn't cut it - I want to give this loaf to my son tomorrow. I'm sure that it's baked, because.before turning to the other side, she pierced him with a wooden skewer.

Wonderful bread turned out!
Lud-Mil @
hope, Thank you! The bread turned out really good, very tasty (due to whey, probably), I would just eat it like a loaf, but I have to limit myself.
I don't remember if there was such information here (although I read the whole topic), today I discovered that a removable plate from Polaris 0105 perfectly suits our Saturn. Now I will look for one for myself, otherwise I want to cook a fish, but I am afraid that then nothing I won't get rid of the smell.

removable plate - is it a liner?
if yes, then he fits both from dex40 and from redmond 4507, although they look different, but the pressure is gaining, all the way.
I haven't tried others, but I'm sure that more than half of them are identical

I saw dexline on sale both a liner and a silicone ring
Lud-Mil @
Yes, he is. What suits Dex and Redmond is good, but it may be easier for someone to find from Polaris.
With Polaris they are not just identical, but absolutely identical, only there is no pin to pull (only a hole for it), the Polaris pin is silicone in the center of the plate, where we just have a ring, and there is also a ledge. I tried to put it on - it sits on the lid, like a native, the lid closes normally. The plate itself seemed a little thicker to me, and the silicone ring is also denser.
Lud-Mil @
Oh, and they hid our cartoons "in the locker". So strange, I miss these pictures.

Devulechki!
Can you tell if a teflon bucket from Saturn can be washed in the dishwasher?
Lud-Mil @
Well, again, everyone hid somewhere ...
Snail, most likely not, because there is no coating outside, and it seems that such dishes cannot be washed in dishwashers. And in general, I would not risk it, suddenly the coating deteriorates, where then to look for a new pan?
Julia, well, did you bake bread on weekends or not?
I baked it again, the flour was freshly bought, for some reason it took a hundred grams more, the dough in the proofing was already pressed against the lid, I was afraid that it would stick to it in the baking, I pinched off a small piece, then Saturn baked pizza on this piece.

Snail
Lud-Mil @, You were right
I called the Saturn hotline today, they confirmed that the bucket cannot be washed in the dishwasher, as well as the lid and the silicone ring. The girl said to call the service center of her city, but they do not answer. I was not too lazy, I called the service center. They are, of course, oak guys, they asked, why do you need a new bucket, have you already damaged the old one? I said that I wanted more and in response I heard that in principle it could and would cost around UAH 150, maybe more, BUT you need to come to them and bring a deposit. In general, for now I will cope with this, and then we'll see.

My mom, after listening to my culinary derambs, now also wants to order this Saturn for herself
I have now put my Panasonic cartoon aside, today I will hide it in the closet. Previously, she could not get enough of cartoons, but now she seems to me a lame horse

Julia, well, did you bake bread on weekends or not?
Unfortunately not. I felt bad, not only bread, I did not cook anything at all. It's good that thanks to the CB, there was a sufficient supply of food, so we survived.
Now I have discovered that bucket leakage is not everything. The shaft does not spin in HP. The engine, thank God, is spinning, so my husband promised to take a look in the middle of the week. I wait and hope, there is no time to knead with the pens yet. Maybe if he bakes ... But for now, a little other worries.
For the same reason, I do not perform new feats in the SV, but I carefully read your descriptions, and I blame them. So do not be silent !!! To all
lyudo4ka
Snail, with a new assistant.
Yu l and @, do not be sick !!!
Lud-Mil @
Julia, Get well ! It’s a pity for the bread maker, of course, this is also such an assistant, I can’t (and don’t want) to do without her.
lyudo4ka, I also usually bake pizza in the oven, because we eat it very quickly, such, from a multi, put my son on one tooth, I do three things in the oven on a large old round frying pan (in the sense that each one is a whole size frying pan). It just needed to attach the remaining piece of dough somewhere, at the same time I decided to test the Pizza mode, in general it turned out well, and it was baked quickly - 20 minutes, so if someone in "field" conditions, at the dacha, on a trip, really wants pizza, you can do it.
I also baked Chocolate on boiling water in Saturn, set the time to 40 minutes, rose very high, looked quite baked, but the middle seemed damp to me, I decided to turn it over and bake the top, and then I ruined it. During the coup, the saucepan somehow slipped out of my hands, I still held it, but the cake crumpled and broke. I still pushed it back into the pan, baked it for another 20 minutes, but after that it adhered very well to the bowl, got it out in pieces. I came to the conclusion that it was necessary to immediately put the baking for an hour and not be wise, everything would be fine. But of course the biscuit was not gone, I cut the pieces into pieces, dipped them in sour cream, whipped with powdered sugar, put them in a salad bowl (cover with cling film), sprinkled them with grated walnuts, it turned out very tasty.
If we draw a conclusion from the last days, when I actively tormented Saturn with baked goods, then we can say that the coating of the saucepan does not like baking, although the baking itself turns out great! So you need to look for a suitable spare bowl with good coverage from another pressure cooker for this purpose.
Alla, for this reason, I would not take my own saucepan in the service, they will probably bring the same quality, it is better to look for something else. Although the coating of the saucepan behaves well on other dishes, and even if something sticks, even the same baked goods, it can be easily washed after soaking, you do not need to scrub with all your might. And of course, if you really need a new pan, and there are no other options, then the opportunity to order it from the service will be very useful.
Of course, mom needs to buy a pressure cooker so that cooking is quick and convenient. And Panasonic will also come in handy, I have both Saturn working, and multicooker, sometimes even all at once.
irysska
As a spare wheel, an excellent option, proven in person - a saucepan from the Deh 40 pressure cooker - becomes like a dear one, and the quality of the coating is many times better (just for baking).
But the only negative is a saucepan for half the price of a pressure cooker

PS but this is for Saturn 9184, i.e. 5-liter !!!
