Millet porridge milk in a pressure cooker Brand 6051

Ingredients

Millet 1 m. St
Milk 4-5 m. St. (I took 5 m. St., Because the porridge was not needed thick)
Butter, salt, sugar to taste

Cooking method

  • We wash the groats very well, place them in a bowl. pour milk, add salt, sugar, butter, mix. We close the lid, select the Milk porridge mode, the default pressure is 30 kPa and I took the same default time of 15 minutes (but after the porridge was cooked, I would personally set 10-12 minutes for myself, I like the grains to be felt more strongly on the tongue ).
  • The porridge turned out to be very tender and the first word was when the lid was opened: airy !!

Time for preparing:

40 minutes

Note

The porridge turned out to be lush, airy and sooo tender. For myself, next time I will slightly reduce the time, so that I can feel more large ones. But the porridge was just perfectly cooked. The lid is clean, the saucepan is not even dirty above half.
How it was prepared:
11-10 start of cooking, the square runs
11-21 running square pressure 20 kPa
11-22 30 kPa, the countdown time began 15 minutes.
11-37 cooking is over, heating has started, the pressure is still 30 kPa
in 5 minutes of heating, the pressure dropped to 0, but the valve does not open yet, it blew off forcibly in 40 seconds, the lid opened, everything is clean and tidy.
While Brand only makes me happy

I also cooked porridge, it turned out delicious.
But, Tatyana, as you said, at the delayed start, I just cooked her in mashed potatoes overnight. No, it is certainly tasty, but my household is used to a different consistency. I will try to cook without delayed start

I just don't understand why this is happening on a delayed start?
An acquaintance of mine only cooks in this way, she says excellent cereals are obtained .. True, she does not have Brand, but Redmond (but she is also a pressure cooker). And he says there are grains, but I got a homogeneous mass

I have a lot of pressure cookers and everywhere the same picture is on a delayed start, cereals are saturated with liquid overnight, with all the consequences there should be such a mass. Maybe your friend is just satisfied with such a mess. For the first time I tried to eat it, saving time in the morning, but now it doesn’t, I don’t cook, it’s better to get up early, load everything, and eat with pleasure

And I have this problem ... I put millet porridge on a delayed start - 5 hours, plus it stood for 1.5 hours on heating (milk porridge mode, 15 minutes). The fact that it turned out to be very boiled does not bother me, on the contrary, I love it so much. But here she has some kind of incomprehensible aftertaste ... as if milk had melted or something ...
At first I thought, maybe I have glitches, but no, everyone confirmed that there was some strange taste. Before that, I also cooked buckwheat milk, with the same delay and heating time - it also tasted strange, and then I cooked rice already normally - without delay and heating, and then it turned out ok - porridge with the usual taste of porridge.
I have the first cartoon, I used to cook porridge as usual on the stove, so I don’t even know ... it’s unlikely that the milk sour (in 5 hours), could it really somehow change in 1.5 hours of heating ??

Often the gruel turns out like melted. If you are cooking on a delay, the cooking time can be reduced (you would have had 8-9 minutes), the cereal is already steamed. Your milk would not turn sour, if it would have sour, you can see stratification, like milk flakes and water separately, and the taste would not have turned out to be melted. You just have a heated product, many people like it. Try to play with time, reduce your active time and don't keep it hot for too long. Good luck to you.

Tanyulya, thanks! I somehow did not even suspect before that porridge can melt, digest and that such a taste can turn out ... I will experiment.

Hello!!!
Tatyana, thanks to your videos, a few days ago I became the owner of such a multicooker-pressure cooker, which is incredibly happy. Today I prepared millet porridge according to your recipe. The porridge turned out to be very tasty !!!
Before this multicooker I had only MB Stadler Form Chef One 909, which pleases me for 2 years. But I also wanted a MV pressure cooker and your videos were the last impetus to buy it Thank you !!!
Tanyulya
Nina, thank you very much for your kind words. Friendship to you with Brandik.

Hello everyone!
I fully support! It is worth reducing the time on a delayed start!
I cook like this on a delayed start: 1 multi-glass of cereal, 1 liter. milk. Cooking time - 4 minutes. I set the timer so that the multicooker has time to cook, release the pressure and stand for another 10 minutes (I always turn off the heating). That is, if I need to get up at 7, then I bet on 6.50. I get up at 7, go to the shower. After a shower, the porridge is ready, I take it out of the multi - and immediately into my mouth :)

and at the immediate start I cook for 5 minutes. I turn off the heating, I don't release the pressure myself.
