Lamb Madras Curry (Brand 6051 multicooker-pressure cooker)

Ingredients

lamb (I have a shoulder blade) 700 g
carrot 2 pcs
curry 3 tbsp. l.
butter 2 tbsp. l.
vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
onion 1 PC
garlic 4 cloves
paprika 1 tbsp. l.
dry mustard 1 tsp
tomato sauce 185 g
chicken broth (water) 300 ml
raisins (not used) 3 tbsp. l.
lemon 1/2 pc
black pepper, salt taste

Cooking method

  • The recipe is from my favorite book, The Culinary Treasure.
  • Marinate the pieces of lamb in Madras curry powder (I just have a market curry), black pepper, lemon juice and salt and leave for 15-30 minutes.
  • Saute the meat on a mixture of butter and vegetable oils until golden brown - it took me 10 minutes. FRY mode. Then add chopped onions, garlic and carrots, cut into slices and fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Add paprika, mustard, tomato sauce, chicken broth or water, raisins and stir.
  • Lamb Madras Curry (Brand 6051 multicooker-pressure cooker)
  • Close the MV with a lid and cook on the MEAT program for 25 minutes.

  • Our mutton is ready! Decorate the dish with parsley.
  • The aroma is not transferable, but the taste is even better!

Natasha, Thank you! I agree completely, the meat is soft and very aromatic! And without the magic saucepan, we would have had to cook it for 2 hours - no less.

I'm falling into a hungry swoon!

It was in the summer - apparently had a rest!

I know you are a lover of lamb and you should like this recipe - well, I really hope so ...
We are so hooked on this lamb - everything is so balanced in it. And it cooks in a pressure cooker so quickly that you never cease to be amazed every time! I always cook in large pieces (although small ones are indicated in the recipe).

Try it, on occasion - I hope you will get hooked too!
