Note

The recipe from the book of the Deli "About breakfasts"

My comments.

The cupcake is delicious !!! Recommend! Even the children were eating by both cheeks :)
Baked for about 45-50 minutes. There is a lot of syrup from 1 cup of water, half would be enough, even less.

I'm starting to write my report ... and that's what I want to write ... that's how I read the recipes ...

I was too lazy to bother with paper, took my good old silicone mold and baked in it. It took me a little longer to bake. Then she began to saturate with syrup ... first gently with a brush, then I realized that this was a long song ... and poured everything over. It was scary to watch, as the liquid layer turned out to be good. I was afraid that everything would not be absorbed at all. But no. Normul.
Delicious! I confirm! Damp, but interesting. Moreover, when I tried it while still warm, it was sugary sweet ... I thought I ruined everything. And when it cooled down, then the sweetness returned to normal. But nevertheless, I will really do less syrup next time.

And I also got to know cardamom, for which I would like to thank you, GruSha. As such, the enta spice was bought from me, but the bag was still there, forgotten, abandoned. Only it is not ground, but in .... fruits? buds? capsules? can someone tell me how to do it right.. I took three things, seeds in a mortar, threw out the scales. Or maybe it was necessary with her? Who has dealt with spices? How is it correct?

Anya, you did everything right. It is the grains that need to be ground in a mortar)
Tell me, is the cupcake itself moist without impregnation?
Anka_DL
No, it is dry without impregnation.
Well, this is if I was not mistaken with determining the moisture content solely by the crust of the cake not removed from the cake mold
When baking, it rose up with a small volcano and cracked. I inserted the stick to check readiness in the center. As soon as it stopped sticking, I took it out of the oven. The crust on top had dried well by that time. Almost like a cookie. Just a few mm. Piercing with a toothpick for subsequent moistening, I saw this way

And the taste? It is that piece, if you try, that is without impregnation.
GruSha
Anya, it's a great cupcake.

By the way, whoever is afraid of the new taste can bake without cardamom, it also turns out a very tasty coffee cake

I can't know))) I haven't tried it. I did not hold it without impregnation and in my hands, let alone on my teeth. So just looked from above, poked and poured.
Therefore, she wrote that without impregnation it would be rather dry. At least a crust, that's what impregnation is needed for it, but definitely not a glass.

And if you pick out the part that is not soaked from a piece of cake?
Anka_DL
Tanya, he is soaked all over))) Just the part that is dark, she bathed in syrup.
Ok, let's say that the light center part, which got less soaking, is wet, not wet, just the way I would like to see the whole cupcake.
