Girls, I need your help. I set the meatballs to stew today, set the Stew mode, the default pressure, 15 minutes. I poured meatballs with tomato paste and sour cream. The snake was running, the pressure did not build up, then instead of 15 minutes, 1 minute was displayed and the cartoon turned off. I added 100 ml of water, did it all over again, worked the same way. Then I set the Meat mode. The pressure didn't build up, the snake continued to run. Steam was coming out of the hole, the meatballs were cooked, but it seemed without pressure. Before that I cooked rice for meatballs, everything worked as it should.
Please tell me what you did wrong.

Perhaps the silicone ring was poorly dressed, correct it before closing the lid.

And for the first time I made yogurt with dry Lactin sourdough. I bought jars from the Severin yogurt maker. Delicious, tender and not at all sour yogurt turned out. Thick, like sour cream, you can season salads.

Natasha, don't tell me where the dry yoghurt starter is sold.
I bought a live "Thermolacta ..." (I don't remember exactly), but it turned out yogurt with lumps and I had to cook for 9 hours. I did it right in the bowl - there are no cups, and somehow I don't dare in glass containers ...

100 ml of water cannot create a pressure of 50Kpa (by default in extinguishing mode), therefore the program was reset
try steam mode with appropriate settings

When extinguishing, I do not add water at all, the pressure is great.
Enough juices from meat and vegetables. I stewed fish and potatoes, also did not add water.

It all depends on the volume of food, with small volumes of moisture is not enough.
I also had this problem, so I am writing based on my own experience

My son has a Vitesse pressure cooker, but when he saw the Brand 6051 modes, he said that he would definitely buy it.

Compare modes, see what works best. I love the 6051 pressure cooker.

Today I have made a discovery for myself. I have a yogurt maker Moulinex 582, but the yoghurt in it turned out to be unsuccessful. There are seven 170ml jars. So they fit perfectly on the bottom steamer in Brand 6051, and one does not fit in 502.

With the acquisition of me. The agony of choice is over. Already cooked potatoes with meat and superb broth))). A multicooker appeared in the house at 21.30.
Tadam-mmm bought Brand 6051, or rather my husband bought a gift for the New Year.
Girls well, I will ask if something is not known to me. While I read, I read.
Here's a question: what kind of care? Wash with any dish detergent or special? And the devices, I read that the plastic spoons are the cookers that are included in the set scratching the surface. This is true? What can you buy? What kind of scoop spoons? And how to crush mashed potatoes?
Thanks for attention.
Gasha
Hello Anya! A wonderful gift!

Wash with a foaming agent like Ferry. I haven't scratched anything with plastic spoons yet, but I use a narrow silicone spatula and spoon to heap. It is better to crush mashed potatoes in another dish, and keep the saucepan, it is not difficult to shift the boiled one! Delicious meals with a new assistant!

We own this multicooker since September. My wife and I decided to give the same to their parents on NG

There was no question of choice - everything is obvious - a bunch of modes, reliable, and most importantly - everything is clear - there are no these married electronic displays where everything is on, flashing and you have to click several times to turn on the desired mode. Everything is simple here - each mode is a separate button.

We buy in a clever store of the Technopark chain - everything is available there, only if you just arrive, then a multicooker can cost up to 12,000 rubles, and if you pre-order 5,990 rubles.
DVK
Dear girls, and some of you have experience with the "Warm-up" mode, otherwise I have never used this button. As I understand it, this mode also occurs under pressure - that is, it cannot be used for some ready-made dishes - pilaf, etc., well, that is, in those where the liquid has already been evaporated. Then it is for soups ..... Well, in general, who has experience of using - share .....?
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
DVK, I use the HEATING mode only to warm up milk porridge in the morning, if I cook them in the evening. I usually don't put a lid on a pressure cooker at all. I don't use it for anything else.
francevna
DVK... once heated chicken broth, covered with a glass lid. The broth boiled very quickly, It's good that I was standing nearby, I barely managed to remove the lid.
YanOchka-
I warmed up, or rather boiled the first and second courses. With the difference that when the liquid is boiled, the lid is blocked, and when the rest is heated (buckwheat, rice, mashed potatoes, meat ...), the lid opens freely.
In this mode, the dishes are quite hot (I don't mean soup), in contrast to heating where the food is lukewarm. Therefore, I often boil milk on it, there is no need to set the time, select the mode, one press and that's it.
Suitable for quick WARMING up, this is the moment when you need to warm up to a warm state, but in a minute, like in a microwave. True, you won't be able to go far, the button must be turned off on your own, in this case, turned off after one-two-three. you can boil baby nipples, because in this mode the water boils and continues to "gurgle" for some time.
It is convenient if you need to boil over (ladies will understand), for example, borscht. This is when large portions are cooked and stored in the refrigerator for a long time. Boil over, pour the leftovers into a small bowl and let it cool down again into the refrigerator again. (sometimes it is necessary)
All these manipulations were done with the lid closed.

on "Warming up" I cooked cabbage soup and borscht - meat broth on "Soup", then, after the pressure was released, I threw in potatoes and cabbage, put on "Warm up" - and everything was cooked perfectly, after all, there was 5 minutes at a pressure of 20?

You can simply hold the ring in a solution of dry mustard, then rinse under running water.
Or in solution drinking soda - sold in the "All for baking" section.

I don’t understand this button. The only plus for me is that I can reheat food through a delayed start on this button. And so when I'm at home, I always warm up food on the Heating. Why put pressure on the Warm-up button, what does that mean?
Maybe Brand's representatives will write their opinion on this matter?

This pressure cooker is good for everyone. But there is one big BUT. Odor from silicone sealing ring. We did not have time to really rejoice at the assistant in the kitchen. Almost immediately after the purchase, they prepared meat, marinated with the addition of soy sauce and that's it. Since then, so that we do not cook, it is especially offensive for the yoghurts, it has a certain strange bitter aftertaste, vaguely reminiscent of that soy sauce, but rather unpleasant. You can only put up with him on meat dishes, and even then not at all. For example, a chicken breast roll for the New Year's table was spoiled. And I have no idea how to order this ring to Belarus ... So we don’t know what to do - it can be returned under warranty. Although this is most likely not a warranty case. So be careful with your purchase ...
Elena Bo
It has been said many times that all silicone seals (in multicooker / pressure cooker of all manufacturers) have the ability to absorb odors. Especially the first 2 weeks. Very sensitive to odors, it is recommended to buy an extra baking ring and milk. To keep yogurt odor-free, cook it in sealed cups. After preparing particularly odorous food, wash the entire lid, including removing and washing the weight.
Rub the ring with lemon to remove the odor. Do not close the lid between cooking, the pressure cooker must be ventilated.

Yuri, well, how much more details - dilute drinking soda, 1 tablespoon, in a liter of warm water, throw the ring in there, keep for about 1 hour and rinse under the tap. It's not a fact that it won't smell like anything else - well, there will be borscht, etc., but the effect will be .... The ring will insolently try to float, but don't let it - press it down with something, and at the same time wash it.
Well, the advice to buy a second ring is also very correct!
A-liona
Nothing helps my ring, so I had to buy additional rings. By the way, I tested the universal ring, after the third turn of the lid to the open-closed position, the pressure still accumulated. Testing the ring should be carried out under supervision)))

Very rarely I write messages in forums, well, I am not so sociable, I read more and more from the "bushes". And yet I decided to share my experience, remembering my fears and doubts when choosing a cartoon. My first multicooker Brand 502, chose for a very long time, spent 3 months on the forums and never regretted the choice. The use is simple and straightforward, everything works out great. I still wanted a pressure cooker, because having come home from work, you need to quickly cook dinner, so the problem of cooking is relevant for me, especially for meat. Back in early 2013. saw the announcement of Brand 5061. For herself, only she immediately decided. But we managed to buy it only recently. I carefully read and re-read all the messages in the topic on this pressure cooker. I would like to share my vision of some of the problems voiced. If you cook dishes with a low liquid content at the beginning, pressure may not build up, the snake is spinning, the contents boil, steam comes out of the float, but it does not rise, after a while the number 1 appears on the timer - the program did not go due to not gaining pressure. In this case, I turn off the program, turn it on again, open the lid and close it again. As a rule, the lid closes with effort, because the same float presses on it from below, and steam in a heated saucepan, respectively, presses on it. As soon as the float turns out to be the code of the hole in the bracket of the lid holder, it immediately immediately blocks and the pressure starts to rise. In the process of building up pressure, d

Sorry, I accidentally posted a text to the forum. Let me continue my wordy message. The liquid released from the products allows pressure to build up and that's it. Because sometimes there is enough liquid, but if the products are dense and there are a lot of them, it seems to me, they do not allow steam to gather well. Therefore, when cooking not very liquid dishes, after the contents boil, I use the technique with opening and closing the lid and the problem with the pressure build-up is removed. When preparing liquid dishes, this problem never arises, everything works as expected.
The problem with condesat is not worth a hatched egg. Nothing flows onto the table. It happens that it flows from the lid onto the body in grooves, first I wiped it off, and now I tilt the body of the pressure cooker a little towards the drip tray and everything flows into it. O-ring odor problem. Yes, it strongly absorbs the smells of dishes, it does not bother me, I cook milk porridge on the same ring, the porridge smells like porridge. My sense of smell is fine. For the most sensitive, only one or two rings, otherwise any multicooker is contraindicated for you. The only thing that somehow didn’t like it was the baking, it seems to me that there is not enough temperature, so I bake in the Brand 502 multicooker, there are no problems with baking, otherwise the Brand 6051 pressure cooker does not cause any comments, but only satisfaction when using it. I really hope that my wordy message will help someone in using and choosing a pressure cooker.

A separate question for the representatives of the Brand company. I live in a small town and my friends bought and brought the pressure cooker at my request. We bought a refrigerator in the store. ru Kaluga. When I took the device out of the box, I noticed that the sticker had been torn off from the case. They ripped off with something hard, the body was slightly scratched, there was a small piece of a silver sticker and the remnants of glue in place of the sticker. I was ashamed to ask my friends, people stopped by on purpose, took care of my purchase, and they are unlikely to be able to answer me anything. Evidence that the pressure cooker and bowl are not used, everything works well. Will the absence of a sticker affect the case of TTTT. breakage on the case warranty.
Denis BR
Good afternoon, Oksana! Thank you for the good analysis of our technology. I read your posts. The fact that there is no sticker is not a problem. Check if you have the serial number of the product (at least in 1 place): in the warranty coupon, on the box, on the case 6051. Its presence will be valid warranty support from our side.

I disagree a little. If you don't have any other multicooker, don't talk about any. I have three of them. And the problem with such absorption of smell is only for Brandovskaya for some reason. My Panasonic induction has a silicone O-ring - it doesn't smell. The cuckoo doesn't smell. And here porridge doesn't smell like porridge to me. I mean, it smells, of course. but has a persistent foreign smell. I tried to rub the ring with lemon and rinse it thoroughly, put it to air - it did not help. Still, you need to find the second somewhere.

People where you bought them (spare O-rings), otherwise I will have to dig the whole topic to find information?

How's it going? At the Brands .....
oksana1000
Dear Denis BR, in the warranty card, the serial number is simply overwritten, I found only a barcode and some number on the box, and I already wrote on the multicooker body, the sticker was torn off, it looks like it was the serial number on it.It was located at the bottom of the body, next to the connecting seam of the body, to the right of the drip tray. There is a rivet under it, I don't see clear traces of rivet opening, maybe the multicooker has already been repaired? I don't know what to think. Think, do not think, I will continue to cook.

Scarecrow, is there Yulmart in the city? They have a silicone ring for Unit-10 that matches our 6051.

Dear Chuchelka, I have two slow cookers and both are Brand, so I cannot say about other manufacturers. But I noticed that some manufacturers sell their pressure cookers with an additional ring. So the problem with the smell is not limited to Brand. But I repeat that in my opinion this problem is not at all a problem and it can be solved. And the numerous advantages of this pressure cooker and its functionality for a very affordable price should not translate into messages about caution with the purchase of this pressure cooker, as the respected yuryd,.

I remember myself when I was sitting on the forums, choosing my first multicooker and studying various posts in the topics about different multicooker. Any negative feedback caused a corresponding response. Therefore, I emphasize once again that the odor problem is not great. I never cook milk porridge on a delayed basis. Perhaps in a similar situation, the smell may be present.

That's what, in my opinion, objectively, baking does not turn out well. I tried it on hand, at 130, it still bakes much longer than on baked goods in my Brand 502, and the result is better in it. We have already written about this, but users still bake, and they succeed. We haven’t made friends with baked goods in Brand 6051 yet.

I have not seen a multicooker with additional rings, to be honest, at least large and well-known Brands such as Philips, Panasonic, etc.

I, like you, do not think this problem is terrible and unsolvable, although it still exists. The multicooker functionality is really good. I've already written my review a couple of pages before.
A-liona
For me, for example, it was problematic to find an additional ring, until the Brandovites had them. And, again, I arranged delivery to my mother's address, because a chair and a backpack with provisions must be taken to my mail)) so as not to fall into a hungry swoon while standing in queues. At the expense of the smell of the native ring - nothing is washed, passing by the pressure cooker, you can guess what was cooked in it recently) Cottage cheese and casserole was not possible to make, porridge was tolerable. With an additional ring, too, friendship has not yet developed. I cook porridge every morning, and you always need to stand by the multicooker "above your soul", because without my help it will not gain pressure.
DVK
The whole point of a small problem is the smell from the silicone ring. For example, I really have it - if you smell it, but it is not transmitted to the products (maybe I just don't feel it). And all that is necessary to release on sale (from the same China) rings made of high-quality silicone (for example, the Korean cuckoo) - 100% sure that they are in China, make a new label like "super ring" on the box in the corner or sell separately more expensive than usual. Brand representatives listen - I think many will agree to buy such a product !!!
Galya13
I will also insert my five kopecks about the ring. Faced the fact that I also need additional rings, namely rings, and not one, after cooking meat with very fragrant spices in a pressure cooker, the ring smells terribly of them for a long time, after that I tried to cook milk porridge in it, but did not eat , because my favorite milk buckwheat also smelled like seasoning for meat, I think that baked goods will suffer the same fate (sadly
yuryd
Galya13, I agree with you completely. It's a shame that a good device in itself sharply limits its functionality because of one ill-considered little thing, on which either the manufacturers decided to save money, or they simply did not take into account this probability, and as a result, only one type of food can be cooked in SV. Sadness.

Quote: Elena Bo
It has been said many times that all silicone seals (in multicooker / pressure cooker of all manufacturers) have the ability to absorb odors.

I also have MV, and it is far from the most expensive and not branded. If there is a slight smell in it, it is only from the ring itself, if you smell it. And the dish never absorbs anything, at least it does not reflect on the taste of the dish. For Brand, as I wrote above, it is the taste of the dish that changes, not only the smell that could be experienced.
Galya13
Here I am, there is also Panasik 18 and Marusya 47, but I don't see anything like this in them, but the smell after the cooked dishes remains, but it's worth aerating and that's it, at least milk porridge doesn't come out with the taste of aromatic herbs
A-liona
For me, for example, the problems are not limited to one ring. The multicooker is the first, it took a long time and painfully to choose And there are three problems today. If one - with a ring - I decided to buy two more, from the second - water that drips onto the table and flows down the body - I cover the knob with a rag (I forgot what it's called) and slowly open the lid, then the third - washing the bowl - it's simple. Sometimes, after a long soaking and washing several times, I leave it as it turned out and cook further.

Hello!
Can anyone help.
Today I decided to once again cook a potato grandmother in the 6051 brand. I switched on the "stewing" mode for 30 minutes as usual, the snake ran a little, "1" appeared and after a minute the end signal. I tried several times to set the mode, including the "meat" mode, and everything is repeated. And the lid .... was closed, but not blocked. No pressure builds up. But the cartoon is heating up. As a result, I turned on the "baking" mode, and cooked on it. But the pressure did not build up and the lid could be opened during the operation of the regime.
What is this glitch !?

It seems to me that I showed a unit when there was little liquid for the formation of vapor. I added a little bit, turned it on again and it worked. In general, all problems were resolved with the purchase of the second SV - Shteba. These two pressure cookers are designed to work in tandem. Yes, there is a very unfortunate water collector in Brand, but there is most water when cooking soup, and I only cook it in Shtebe, where it tastes better. And only fish in it. It just seems tastier in it. But porridge is only in Brand. Yes, there is a smell from the ring, but everything is not so critical that it is impossible to eat. I washed it in water with lemon and everything is fine.

I already wrote on the previous page. If there is little liquid in the food, the lid may not be blocked and the program is turned off. Try to restart the program and open and close the lid, provided the contents are boiling. The lid will close with some effort, it immediately locks and the pressure builds up, only the pressure can take longer due to the small amount of liquid. In this model of pressure cooker, the overheating protection system is too sensitive. If the pressure is not accumulated, it turns off the program and goes into heating. You definitely don't need a service center yet.
Llusty
Everyone writes about rings ... and indeed the problem is solvable (I already bought a couple). But here I have a problem with the bowl, if you wash it, turn it over and leave it to dry ... no one noticed a soooo disgusting smell? If you don't turn it over, wipe it dry, then it's okay, but I still feel this smell .. not so critical, but I can't leave the porridge overnight because of the bowl. I can't wait for the bowls to appear on the site with other finishes.
A-liona
As I understand you! I do not leave anything in the bowl at all, I immediately put everything cooked in other containers. By the way, I also dry it so that I can put it in a slow cooker later.
