There is no restore point, it is empty.
If you did not create a restore point, then it will not be
I would recommend creating a backup of the system, for such cases
This can be easily done with Acronis True Image.

An4utka
Hello again))
I want to buy such a computer
Processor: AMD A8 X4 7680, 3.5 GHz,
Chipset: Amd A68H,
Socket: FM2,
Memory type: DDR3, RAM
2 GB, 1333 MHz,
Hard disk 1000 GB, 7200 rpm, 3.5 "
Video card: AMD Radeon R7 series - SMA
Video Memory Size: SMA
Case: FOXLINE FL-815-FZ450R - 450W

For home use (internet, video, simple games) will it do? I couldn't find anything better for 11 thousand.
And the main question - will windows XP be installed on it?

Or is there another option the same, but with an AMD A6 X2 7480 processor, a radeon r5 video card

RAM 2 GB
I have the most doubts about this point. Now and budget phones for 6 GB. Wouldn't recommend leaving two.
An4utka
Chef, yes, but the RAM can be easily added if necessary.
Alex100
An4utka, XP does not see more than 3.5 gigs of RAM. If we are going to install windows 7. Although it has already stopped supporting
For a configuration like yours, 11 thousand is expensive
An4utka
Alex100, I could not find cheaper, probably this is possible only with self-assembly.
System units are cheaper only on Selerone, with 1 GB of RAM and without a hard drive, or with 250 GB, and that starts from 9 thousand ...

Alex100, bargaining? Are these used computers?

And the main question - will windows XP be installed on it?
To say for sure, you need to know what kind of mat. the fee is in the system. block. And on the manufacturer's website, see if there are drivers for XP for it. The AMD Radeon R7 located on the board has different versions, and, for example, the AMD Radeon R7 2xx has drivers for XP, and the later AMD Radeon R7 3xx and 4xx have only Win 7 and higher.
And yes, 2GB is not enough, especially considering that the video is SMA, which means. that video memory will be withdrawn from the main 2GB, most likely 0.5GB will be taken by AMD Radeon R7.
An4utka
Amasar, Thank you. I indicated all the available information, I do not know the details, unfortunately. Well, at the extreme, seven will do.

Yes, it is used. Do you want to take a new celeron or FX from AMD?
I will say right away that these processors are a waste of money

Antiquity, like everything on this socket. If used like a typewriter
You can forget about the upgrade. My purely personal opinion is, you shouldn't build a new computer on old hardware

In your case, it is still better to look towards the risen of the younger models
An4utka
Alex100, I see, thanks for the consultation)

An4utka, collecting yourself is not scary: 🔗... The most difficult thing is to smear the processor with thermal paste and attach the processor fan, but this can be done in a service at a computer store (I do it), for a little money. They just need to carry the motherboard, processor and processor fan.
You have written everything correctly about the processors you have chosen.
An4utka
OgneLo, thank you) Here I was just smearing ... I must also not fix the compatibility of the components ... I used to rather easily embark on adventures, but now something has become difficult to rise. I'm getting old ...

also with the compatibility of components cannot be adjusted ...
When I thought about updating my memory, I thought that my brains would cook, until I figured out what specific planks I needed.
It was even more fun when the program crashed on the motherboard and had to be repaired for reprogramming. Fortunately, I managed to buy a new one (with a no longer produced connector, for a processor that has not been produced for a long time) suitable for my processor (apparently, an old woman was waiting for me), albeit a shorter motherboard with less capabilities and functionality, but which allowed not deprive yourself of a working computer during the repair of the main board.

Unfortunately, when choosing components, you have to read a lot of technical materials, but the result is worth it.

The first computer I bought, as "new-new with the possibility of improvement", turned out to be unsuitable for an upgrade, even for memory sticks. Therefore, the next one was the computer of self-selected components. And here it is important, initially, to choose the best processor and the optimal motherboard, since the choice of these components is rigidly connected through the connector between them and so that the future computer does not turn out to be outdated while still in the project.

People, I was recently crying about my laptop, I took it to the workshop, my uncle immediately identified the problem, said that it was necessary to install (or reinstall?) Windows, it would cost 1,200 rubles and no guarantees, well, like you never know where you go there and everything will collapse again. This is normal? I mean the price and no guarantee?
At home I found the installation disk that the computer asked for, but mine, it turned out, did not even have a place for this disk. :-)
Alex100
An4utka, promising assembly, at September prices (now it may be cheaper)
There is a built-in video (if you want to buy discrete)
As a result, we have a system load in 5-10 seconds
Video games in full ashdi resolution (with discrete purchase)
Prospects for an upgrade.

An SSD is significantly lighter than an HDD, and the absence of any visible printed circuit boards.
For a stationary computer, it's not about anything at all.
(that's why I'm getting on my head here at all)
SSD has an order of magnitude less processing time for disparate data, respectively. data read / write speed grows several times. For stationary ones, there is an M.2 2280 SSD with NVMe support, and this is a read-write speed of up to 3500 MB / s, I'm afraid a "normal" HDD will not be able to accelerate to this speed (we will leave the array issue for now).
Reliability - alas, you need to monitor the health of the disk, but any of the memory chips can be unexpectedly covered. As an option - take the type of memory organization MLC, but also not a panacea. It is possible to recover, the successful cases were not even my memory. Moreover, some manufacturers silently change the dead SSD (within a 5-year warranty).
But ordinary HDDs can also die, and here the question is whether they can be restored, or the head will fall when dying and leave grooves on the disk, after which only magnets can be removed from it.
For laptops, a huge plus of SSD is the absence of rotating parts, with vibration and shock loading on a laptop, this is important. And the energy efficiency is different, there are no start-stops of the ordinary HDD engine.
I have a system on a stationary computer on an SSD (the same M.2) and copy data for processing, long-term storage on classic HDD and a copy in the cloud.

32-bit - yes, but 64-bit sees more, although 64-bit XP is still a dinosaur in modern reality.
under XP (as well as under 7) it is now more and more difficult to find drivers for modern equipment, win'8 generally starts to swear if you put it on the 8+ generation Intel i3 / 5/7.

install (or reinstall?) Windows, it will cost 1,200 rubles and no guarantees
here the main question is - to reinstall from the recovery partition or put "your own"? "Own" for this money will be unlicensed (or without activation) - is it necessary? From the recovery partition 1200 is fine, but you can do the same yourself (this will delete all old data from the disk!)
Alex100
System and software - SSD is beyond competition. Just remove the paging file from it.
HDD for archive.
I got my first SSD about 8 years ago. I use these discs everywhere, including game consoles.
Even ancient gadgets with SSDs take on new life
P / S No XP at 64. This is a different axis from Windows 2000.

Crown
Alex100, can you answer my question above? As I understand, you are in the subject and can check out how much such a service can cost.

Oh, already answered.
I realized that my own, from a flash drive. This is bad?

Just remove the paging file from it
I know that the resource of SSs is very dependent on the number of rewrites, but I will not put swap on HHD. Speed is more expensive than a resource. Ideally, of course, completely disable the paging file by setting this way to 128 GB of RAM (for low-resource-intensive tasks, you can disable the swap, starting from 16-32 gigabytes).

On my laptop with 16 gigs of RAM, the load was rarely more than 50% filled. The paging file was disabled immediately. The laptop has worked for more than 6 years without problems. (Once only cleaned of dust) Much depends not so much on the number of bars, but on the frequency. (you need to look at the operating frequency in BIOS) Now the PC has memory (3200) 8 gigs in conjunction with a risen for 8 cores, everything flies by plane. First I wanted to buy up to 16, but I don't see the point.
Of course, who wants to build a budget computer for reasonable money, as an option or an express. But it is undesirable to take video cards there, they come either from farms or from gaming salons. Marinka processors and RAM will do.
Margass
I don't remember how much RAM on the laptop (that's a shame), but it's like a temporary dump of files for work or for Skype for children. SSD, if it dies - do not mind. The loading and operating speed of the system is fabulous.

On a stationary 32 GB of memory, swap to a second SSD (regular SATA with children's games, I don't mind it at all). Memory is used when opening a heap of working data, because I cannot say that it is superfluous

This is not bad, you just need to understand that 96% of it will be an unlicensed operating system, there may be an inscription on the bottom right about the lack of activation and / or a warning when loading. Home users don't seem to be bothered with this, but still ..

128 are also good because for programs that love caches, you can create a RAMDisk and flush the cache there. The bottleneck will disappear, the speed will rise to an unprecedented level

And of course, do not forget that for a good productive system, you need a high-frequency processor, with good cooling on it, preferably copper, a motherboard (if there is no money it is better to save on the process, take the cheapest one on a new socket), a power supply (no money for a branded one, we take FSP) and naturally a good case (if there is no money, take a box of bananas or screw it to the wall, before finance appears)

My beloved tablet died, which went with me all the difficult periods of my life: chemotherapy, radiation, all operations. It was a friend. And so he died. The workshop said that this is "age" and cannot be repaired
Alex100
Irene, it's just more expensive to repair than it costs, that's why they said so.
What is a tablet is a screen and a board. You have a whole screen, it remains to find the board

if NVRAM died, there is no point in restoring, it will be zero, and the price of the issue is decent. Whether it is necessary?.
Crown
Margass,
missed a little - happened to the computer?
Blue screen, but I am a round dilettante in this business. :-)
Margass
Crown, the blue screen can be for a number of reasons, but it has already been written about it can be restored, but there is no guarantee of further work. it is worth trying to reinstall the OS (from scratch, if there is no important data on the disk) and look for further "well-being", or try to find the reason (usually it is a disk, because of it, files are damaged and incrementally, but it can be anything).
Alex100
The blue screen in most cases is RAM. Reinstalling the system is temporary.
The memory can be tested before starting the system. Again, all this requires a specialist.
In your case, 1200 rubles without a guarantee - money in the trash can. Better to find another use for them
OgneLo
Quote: Margass
can they restore
From experience: HDDs are restored, and best of all, archives are restored from all types of files. SSDs are not recoverable. I recovered after fully formatting a 1.5Tb HDD in FAT32, and a 2Tb HDD with Win8 after killing it with a 10. In the second case, a donor was used to recover the data. Both times, the restoration was carried out by specialists.

I, on an old computer with XP, had a blue screen due to the initially installed broken cable. And everything was cured by replacing it.

Crown, Galina, personally, I reinstalled Windows downloaded from torrents a hundred times, and nothing, the flight is normal. Now my seven has ceased to be supported, so I will soon put 10 from the torrent.
I do not see anything wrong with unlicensed software, the only thing I check on the website is the total virus, so as not to pick up a virus.
When reinstalling, the most difficult thing is to download the necessary drivers.
But if you have an installation disc, then in general everything is ready for work, and the licensed one.

I would advise you to overpower yourself and learn how to reinstall the system yourself. With modern 7s and 10s, departures happen quite often, and you will be dependent on specialists in every case, even for nonsense. Having a computer, it makes sense to learn basic things yourself. Reinstalling the system is a trivial task.
As for the specialist, he should have been asked, but did he test the computer? is he sure that the hardware is in order and the problem is only software? Why doesn't he give a guarantee if the hardware is working properly?
For what 1200 and what is he going to install, a license or also from a torrent?
Crown
For what 1200 and what is he going to install, a license or also from a torrent?
I have no idea, he answered evasively to my question about the details, something like about secrets at work. :-) From what the conclusion suggests itself that it is elementary to fix this problem. For now, I took time to think, and there I took a couple more completely dead laptops for testing, on Sunday he will tell me if it is possible to revive them and for how much. Based on the result, I will already decide what to do with this pretty cornflower-blue screen. :-)

Thank you all for your participation.

I explain to all those who like to install pirated assemblies (I will skip the topic that stealing is not good) that by installing hacked software, you are already installing software infected with viruses. And this product will work crookedly. I have no antivirus at all and I do not reinstall the system. They have been working for me for years until the next update. At the moment there are ten and the office is the last.
OgneLo
An4utka, it is very convenient to select components and compare them with each other on the Nyx website: convenient filters for choosing according to specific parameters, the ability, if necessary, to add components that are no longer for sale to the comparison. And you need to clarify the details of the selected components and decide on the place of their purchase on the websites of manufacturers of specific components and services of valuable aggregators such as the I-market.
teara
Alex100, in no case I argue that a license is better than a pirate, if you really pay, then I would be convinced three times that the license will be given in case Galina.
Regarding the stability of the system, I often meet with my friends blue screens on brand new computers and computers without problems with iron. I don’t know who is to blame, whether friends are poking somewhere in the wrong place, or the license is still being updated with quirks, but when I updated, somehow, the licensed seven flew a bootloader, and after its problems were restored, ugh, ugh, it does not arise. Maybe the handles were crooked, which I also did wrong, but I'm sinning to update. But there was a blue screen with no problems with the hardware of the know.
