Only I do not understand your hitch with recipes. You will write in more detail what the problem is.

It's just that the recipes say, for example, the baking program for 20 minutes, or stewing for 60 minutes! what if I can only put the time?

As soon as the hiss starts, try to move the valve slightly until the hiss disappears.

I tried it, it didn't help! helps when I press lightly!

Of course, there is no Baking program in this pressure cooker. Just bake without a valve. It just takes a little more time in this case than baking. Here the temperature will be approx. 115-120 ° C, and on "Pastry" usually 130 ° C.
Stewing is a normal pressurized mode just like Soup. So it will take the same amount of time as in other pressure cookers. Just do not confuse them with multicooker - in multicooker it takes longer to cook because they work at normal pressure. So, at first, it is better to use recipes for pressure cookers, but as you get used to, you can adapt any to your pressure cooker.

I cook pilaf, it still poses steam and throws out drops of water, hisses scary! Is it really a marriage! I'm starting to get disappointed without enjoying it! Probably I'll carry it back to the store tomorrow!

The store will no longer accept it. Take it to the service center. If the marriage, they will correct or replace it, and if not the marriage, then they will show it. how to close the valve.
Eleka
noticed that there is a groove on the handle near the valve and water comes out of it during cooking. That is how it should be? If so, is the condensate container linden ?! I have it dry all the time!

As I understand it, there is no need for much cleverness to figure out how to close the valve! Most likely a marriage!
Eleka
I figured out the valve, it turned out to close in the central position, but the problem with the groove remained! Does anyone have the same problem?
NataliTima
Hello everybody! I ordered such a CF in Foxtrot for 555gr tomorrow should be brought, tell me how to check the steam valve for defects? Would you really like to get into a trouble?
Manna
On visual inspection, practically nothing. Only pouring water into the bowl, closing the valve and heating the water to the boiling point. If the cover is blocked, then the valve is ok.
NataliTima
Good morning everyone !!! They delivered my slow cooker, they checked everything works, but I have a problem with the lid, I can't close it right the first time when everything is boiling, I check it dangles, I have to open and close it several times while the valve works, there may be some kind of lid closing system that would close the first time Or is it just something that doesn't work for me?
Manna

And what does "hang out" mean? You mean there is a vertical move? So with all these pressure cookers. The lid stops hanging when enough steam builds up underneath and blocks it.
povar007
I confirm - the lid stops walking after a while. Checked on my Redmond
Manna
After what time and where does he stop going? Which Redmond?
povar007
Redmond RMC-PM4507 - this is what my grandmother has. Before the start of cooking, the lid also has a little backlash, but this is the way from the factory. When you start cooking in a minute, somewhere (envy of what you are cooking) stops dangling
Manna
I have already explained about the backlash. All pressure cooker lids of this type have it. After the pressure is built up and the lid is locked, the backlash disappears, reappearing when the pressure is released.
vavalina
A good multi-cooker for me. My friend wants to buy her, she read a lot like about her. Says that they write positive about this model.
ANKA wot
Hello girls! Tell me such a thing - they gave me such a slow cooker, and no matter what I cook with the valve closed, it periodically hisses for silence, so it should be ???
Manna
If there is an excess of pressure, excess steam is drained through the valve. Nothing wrong. The main thing is that this does not happen all the time.
Ofeliya
Having seen enough testing of this pressure cooker on another forum, my husband brought from Foxtrot could not resist buying. Beauty! And even at such a nice price. I tested it all day yesterday. I cooked milk rice porridge, steamed fish with potatoes, stewed cutlets, cooked soup from beans, made buckwheat and cottage cheese casserole. A bit unusual, but I think you can handle this.
Manna
And all this in one day? Here I have prepared, so I have prepared it Congratulations on a nice new thing
Ofeliya
It was just interesting. Especially after Polaris. And knowing what a pressure cooker is and what should eventually turn out.
The husband called and asked "well, how?" And I "leave him alone, don't bother me ... I'm busy, you will try in the evening"
I'm happy so far
Manna
Olga, I am wondering what caused the choice in favor of a pressure cooker with a mechanical control (already having experience with a "push-button" pressure cooker)
Ofeliya
I wanted a pressure cooker with a nice saucepan. With experience with Daikin coated pans, this was the deciding factor in my choice. Initially, I thought to take 4506. But then a very nice price for 4507 turned up. And I thought: the operation of the pressure cooker has a linear principle, that is, after reaching pressure, it simply supports it there. Then what's the point in so many buttons and programs? ... I read completely 2 topics of testing these pressure cookers on another forum and made sure that it copes well with cereals, soups, meat, roasts and pastries. So why not? If the one that you wanted costs about $ 130, and this one is $ 55 (instead of 90). Perhaps, if not for the store's promotion for this pressure cooker, I would have been without it for now. But discounts did their job
Qween
And I! And I bought this pressure cooker yesterday!

I chose between the M-110 and this one. Immediately I decided to either take one with a bunch of buttons or the simplest one. Yesterday I looked at both in the store - I still did not understand the joke about 55 programs in the 110th.
In pressure cookers, in principle, the cooking method is the same for both push-buttons and this one - cooking under pressure, and I need a pressure cooker to cook meat.

I thought, I thought, and decided to take this pressure cooker because it was very well made and I liked the bowl very much, and then there was the final day of the action. The sales girl told me to think more fun because the price for this pressure cooker has already arrived and tomorrow (this is already today) it will be 700 with something hryvnia (which, I think, is also normal, since even in online stores the price has exceeded for 1000 UAH).

PS: The bowl in this pressure cooker is the same as in the 110th - non-stick DAIKIN ® (Japan).
Manna
Virgo, I don't really understand 55 programs in a pressure cooker either. The only advantage of multi-mode pressure cookers is that they have a wider temperature range, that is, they can ferment the dough and ferment yogurt and fry intensely. And in many modes under pressure, there is no point at all. So, if you need a pressure cooker for pressure cooking (), then it is easier and cheaper to choose the most ordinary pressure cooker without priblud
Qween
Thank you for your congratulations, Mannochka!

That's for sure!
I have been waiting for my dream pressure cooker for several years. I thought that they would soon do something revolutionary. But the analysis of each new model showed that it was a pressure cooker plus many functions from a multicooker, that is, 2 in 1. And I wanted something so interesting, precisely related to pressure cooking, and I didn't need another multicooker.

One of these days I am driving and looking at a huge sign of Eldorado hanging on which it is written that the pressure cooker Redmond 4506 is for sale for 599 UAH and the crossed out price is 2 times more. Well, I think I'll buy such an inexpensive one and will continue to wait. It turned out that they had already been snapped up. And I decided to stop waiting for the dream pressure cooker. While I wait, others cook jellied meat in an hour and don't expect anything.

All in all, I quickly selected from what is available on the market and meets my pressure cooker requirements.

By the way, there are pressure cookers much cheaper than this one and with a lot of buttons - in general, a choice for every taste.

Qween
I was already cooking in a new pressure cooker.

I really, really liked the result and the operation of the pressure cooker is simple and convenient.

These are the ribs with soft bones:

Pressure cooker Redmond RMC-PM4507

I would cook these on the stove for 4-5 hours.

Manna
Anya, and how many times did you cook them?
Qween
Mannochka, I didn't answer right away because I was on the old site.

Set a timer for 70 minutes. The next day I was preparing a roll of a shank, then I saw that opposite 70 minutes was written "Meat on the bone." 70 minutes is with a set of pressure.

On the bottom of the bowl I put onions, ribs on top, salt and twisted coarse black pepper. No liquid added. That's the whole recipe.

I'll take another roll from the shank and bring it to show.
Manna
70 minutes ... minus a set of pressure for 15 minutes, let 20 ... total 50 minutes somewhere against 5 hours without pressure
Qween
I cut the roll of the shank lengthwise, so that later it would be more convenient to cut each half:

Pressure cooker Redmond RMC-PM4507

There were two such rolls from one shank (this one has a little fat, and the second is leaner). I salted and pepper it and left it in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning I put it in the pressure cooker, poured 150 grams of water and set it to cook on the "Meat on the bone" mode - this is 70 minutes. The finished shank was divided lengthwise with a fork and a knife into two parts (this is very easy, since the meat is very well boiled). I smeared each part with garlic, put it in bags, shaped it and put it under pressure for a couple of hours to give it a more oval shape. The cooled rolls hold their shape very tightly and are perfectly cut.

The liquid turned out to be 300 grams together. Next time I will pour a little more water and put a piece of meat - there will be 2 rolls and a couple - three plates of excellent strong jellied meat.

I really like my new pressure cooker! It performs its functions perfectly.

Yeah. And the knuckle is also instant.
By the way, I want to note that although fast, but very high quality. I didn't expect it to be so cool. I thought it would be more boiled, but it turns out that the ribs have a stewed, rich taste, and the shank boiled as required.
Manna
Well, wow shank She must have been full of it
Qween
Well, yes, my mother chose the most beautiful ruleka in the bazaar - she stood obliquely in the bowl.

Oh, Larissa, and do not say, I constantly catch myself on this thought
Ofeliya
Qweenwhat appetizing ribs!
But I’m not going to adapt to making juicy cutlets in it. 2 times I tried to stew cutlets for the child and 2 times they came out dry. In polaris, I cooked them at 2 pressure and it came out very tasty and tender. And here it does not work and that's all ...
But pasta and baked goods are great.

Hello! Yesterday I re-read all 12 pages of this topic, and today I joined the happy owners of this multicooker-pressure cooker! Thanks for the useful information! I tried it - it turned out to be a good lean herb soup. At first I put it on for 20 minutes, but I didn't understand if the water boiled, the pressure button did not light up. I added 10 minutes, then waited another 5 minutes, could not stand it and blew off steam. The soup was still boiling and slightly overcooked. I think that 20 minutes would be enough. My first pressure cooker, I still don't understand how to determine when the water has boiled, especially if you are not near it and you cannot hear when the small valve hissed. Can you tell me? I turn it on immediately with the valve closed - there is still little experience, and I need this unit so as not to stand next to it in the kitchen.
Manna
Close the valve immediately. As soon as the water boils and a sufficient volume of steam is accumulated, the valve closes (hear a click, steam will stop flowing through the valve).
sv_kot
Thank you! I need to practice, I didn't hear the click at all)))
Manna
A quiet click in the valve area. Valve lock click. The main visible indicator of boiling water is steam from the valve, and valve blocking is the absence of steam
sv_kot
In your explanation, everything is really just thanks again!
marinochka83
An excellent model of Redmond multicooker and even a pressure cooker. It seems to me that this is an excellent combination of price and quality, which justifies itself in the kitchen. He cooks well, the food does not burn and it turns out delicious)
Manna
This is not a multicooker, this is the most classic and simplest pressure cooker.
Ofeliya
Yesterday I baked a piece of pork 1.4 kg, set the timer for 45 minutes. It turned out wonderful! Only the ring from the aromas of spices can not be washed
Manna
You can try to wash it several times with soap, then grease it with citrus fruits, then wash it again and air it, if necessary. You can boil the ring or drive out a pressure cooker with lemon water.
Qween
Girls, I cooked broth today. I really liked the result.

It's good that I immediately imagined that I needed this wonderful device for meat dishes, since everything smelled very strongly of meat aroma after several times of preparation.
sv_kot
Qween, for novice pressure cookers))), how was the broth cooked in more detail - time, and with or without the valve closing?
Qween
sv_kot, I put about 600 g of pieces of pork shoulder in the bowl, poured 1.5 liters of boiling water, set the cooking time to 30 minutes with the valve closed, that is, in the pressure cooker mode. When the timer beeped, I did not open the lid for about 15 minutes. There is no need to remove the foam. The broth is good, the meat is perfectly boiled.
