Pineapple jam with raisins

Ingredients

Raisins 250 g
Grated zest of 1 orange
Grated zest of 2 lemons
Juice of 1 orange
Juice of 2 lemons
Canned pineapple 860 g
Gelatin sugar 400 g

Cooking method

  • 1. Mix all the ingredients except sugar in a bowl and close the lid. During the day, the mixture should be infused. Stir occasionally.
  • 2. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan, add sugar, put the saucepan on low heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Simmer over high heat for at least 4-5 minutes, until enough liquid has evaporated and the mixture thickens.
  • 3. Fill the jars, making sure that all the fruits are covered with syrup. Close the cans immediately with airtight lids.

860 is the net weight of pineapple without syrup. And the fact that your syrup is in demand is great so that nothing is lost, it's all in the matter!

Based on this jam, I made the following:
frozen pineapples - 800 gr. (2 packs of 400 gr.)
dried cranberries Champion - 100 gr.
dark raisins - 100 gr.
walnut - 100 gr.
orange zest - 5 tsp (or fresh from 1 orange)
sugar - 900 gr.
Mix everything, let stand for an hour until juice is released and cook. It is better to cook on the stove, take a half portion for a bread machine.
