Well, here it is the multi-cook for 30 minutes.
Did you do exactly the same as me?
Everything turned out great for me and everything is described step by step
Or maybe somewhere they deviated from the recipe and this is the reason ?!
Natashok
Today I tried another cooking option. Turkey (thigh) 3 cm pieces and carrots on the Roasting mode 20 min 1 level. 10 minutes before the end of the onion. Then on the Vegetables mode, also in large pieces, apple, tomatoes, bell peppers and prunes. Vegetables are not boiled in 20 minutes. It turns out to be a very correct dish! Recommend !
Natashok
A separate recipe will not work. I do not know how to exhibit pictures and in general ... The main principle is to repeat. And vegetables, too, all sorts of different can be. to whom that to taste. Well I wrote that in Element I liked the dishes "Stew with vegetables" more. Now, if you do in ours, as I did the last time, it will be very tasty!
warmike
Yes, everything seems to be according to the recipe, I tried step by step. Has anyone ever tried mushroom soup? From unfrozen mushrooms?

It didn’t happen to me, but it’s like it shouldn’t spill anywhere any further, it’s like a basin, too, without holes. Can I scoop everything out, wipe it off and let it dry?

I happened ... boiling water ... True, in another multicooker, REDMOND RMC01, I dried it for 2 days, there were no problems.
Natashok
but there it seems like it shouldn't spill anywhere further, it seems like it looks like a basin without holes. On the contrary !. All liquid poured out. I was just afraid to turn it on right away. After all, the electronics are all there too. She put the jars of yogurt, poured the liquid, turned it on, and walked away. And only after 5 minutes I found an opportunity. So chefs, be careful)))
Natashok
I'm all about mine, about girlish))). I must tell the world. After I poured water without a bowl into a multicooker, I did not turn it on as a precaution. And the milk was already poured into the jars! So I put all this household in an electric oven. Set t up to 50 C. And after 5 hours yoghurt turned out. Exactly the same as in a multicooker)))
danaia
Hurrah! Finally I join you! While the state of complete delight! : bravo: You have to cook a lot, because there are three kids! I already want the second! Girls, tell me, please, on which programs is the 3rd oven level set? I can't put it on, it doesn't go further than the second one. With what it can be connected? And another question for experienced chefs, is the soup tastier on the soup mode or manual? Thank you in advance!

Congratulations on your purchase! She was also happy in the same way. We don't cook soups in our family, but borscht with beans without meat really tastes better on the "Stew Meat" program. Only the beets must initially be boiled whole. And already when ready to grate. I will be very glad if it is useful to someone)

All measuring cups from MB are standard - 180 ml, so you can either use any other, or measure 180 ml.

And I cook rice and buckwheat in a multicooker, I don't really like cereals in pressure cookers. On a multi-cooker, I probably need to cook better.
Macaroshki, in the sense of some horns I buy from durum wheat and they need to be cooked in cartoons in proportion for every 100g 1 multi-glass of water, a piece of oil, salt. Dumplings, for 400-500gr you need 100ml of water + oil, potatoes also have a little bit of water and oil. All the water boils away and everything is fried a little from the bottom.
There are even recipes pasta with chicken
this is how dumplings can be on the buckwheat program dumplings

and here buckwheat prepared the nests on the program nests

And I cook buckwheat in milk porridge. 1 part buckwheat and 2 parts milk. The milk is all absorbed and the most tender buckwheat is obtained.

Hello everyone!
I have 1055 almost from the first week of its sale ... and I never found an approach to porridge in it ... not to dairy, but just rice or buckwheat as a side dish ... but the most offensive thing is that I never I was able (and I tried very hard) to choose a mode in which you can cook porridge for dogs (rice + buckwheat + vegetables), no matter how I change the proportions and modes in the cartoon, all this turns out to be a mess ... in general, I returned to the stove and pans regarding cereals ...
I will be very very grateful to someone who will advise which multiv machine is really good at making cereals ...

With buckwheat in a cuckoo, I also did not work out ...
But I cook rice only in it. Really like! But only on the modes Sushi-rice and Pilaf.
The "Rice" mode here is, in fact, an analogue of "Turbo" in Korean models. It is intended for accelerated cooking, and in the English-language instructions it is recommended, for best results, to soak the rice for 20 minutes before this mode.

It seems to me that it is better to cook porridge with vegetables without pressure so that the vegetables do not boil down into snot. Kukushkin's cereal programs are not suitable for this - they are too intense. You can choose the right temperature on the Multicooker (no pressure) or try the Slow Cooker Level 2 (it works much like Stewing in a regular multicooker)
Vei
I kept this 1055 for myself only because of the Rice mode, which cooks an excellent rice side dish for me in 15 minutes. But in order for the porridge to not have stickiness, you need to cook cereals without pressure.
Today I tried to cook corn porridge without milk, namely the side dish option on the Slow cooker mode 1 level 1 hour. There, the temperature was all the time around 95C, an excellent porridge was cooked in a 1: 3 ratio in an hour, although the grinding was not large. At the second level, it seems to me that the temperature will be too high, but I have not measured it yet. Somehow very hot and fast for the Slow Cooker.
I've never even tried to turn off the pressure, but in theory I don't remember in what modes it is possible, or only on Multipovar?
martula
Thanks for answers! And I honestly sinned on myself ... I thought maybe I was doing something wrong or was too picky ... but it turns out I am not alone in dissatisfaction with buckwheat ... then I will make a second attempt to master cereals in a different mode ...

Greetings! In my opinion, only on Multipovar.
I often cook vegetables in the Multi Cook without pressure. When I want it to work without liquid. Stewed cabbage, for example, or zucchini with potatoes, or fish with potatoes I bake - I replace it with a Multi-cook b / d. Oven too hot.

Yes, not at all slowly, I measured 88C on my 1st level, and around 100 on the second.
Vei
I measured the temperature on the Slow Cooker Level 1 several times at the 15th minute, then at the 30th and 45th minutes. The temperature was stable at 95-94.5C. Yes, I forgot to clarify that it was just water, not food.

Thanks Lisa, valuable information. I also measured water. Simply, my thermometer is slow, until it crawls, apparently in the open bowl it is already getting a little cold.

In pressure cookers, in principle, you do not need to add water to stew meat with vegetables or just vegetables. Due to the pressure, its own juices are released to a greater extent than in a conventional multitask without pressure.
amateur
The potatoes were completely dry. And today I want to make stuffed cabbage rolls. Please advise on which program is better to do. Until I understand the principle of work of programs under pressure and without it, it is unlikely that something will work. So far I don't really understand the difference between "Stew" and "Multipovar". Thank you for your help.
Vei
The difference in Quenching and Multipovar is only in the heating algorithm, in the first mode it is some kind of special, that is, the temperature changes throughout the program, and on the Multipovar there is constant linear heating with a constant set temperature. And so there is pressure in both modes.
In my opinion, Stewing is preferable, although if you have cabbage rolls not with minced meat, but with chicken or vegetables, then it will be faster on a multi-cook.
Vei
Yes, and about the potatoes, I still did not understand what the essence of the problem was? It turned out raw or dry, or it boiled too much, what exactly is wrong with the potatoes?
Nymph
I made vegetables for the child on the regime - but the minced meat was salmon. Everything turned out great too
Vei
Ritulya hello! Well, share your impressions of the cuckoo over the past time, how do you compare with the Element?
Nymph
Lisa, hello!
I can definitely say: I quickly adapted to the Cuckoo.
What was better in Element:
1. Perfectly working programs with rice - there were 3 of them, and each turned out to be excellent rice of different boiling - rice for sushi, rice is soft (it turned out like my grandmother used to bake in a cast-iron pot - it was impossible to distinguish) - it was excellent, the third rice program I I didn't understand - but the rice on her was also very good.
In Kukushka sushi rice works perfectly, but simply "rice" does not work without a preliminary lock - I hardly use this express program.
2. Personally, I need sensory programs only for cooking rice, for cooking other types of food, I prefer programs with manual time setting.
That is, in Kukushka soup, stew, vegetables - it would be more convenient to regulate the time yourself, and not guess if the dish will be digested or not cooked. By and large, this is my only dissatisfaction - but it is not critical.
3. I also did not understand the buckwheat program in Kuku - I tried to adapt it for nests or cannelone - it does of course, but Panasonic copes with it much better, albeit a little slower.

What I really like about Cuckoo:
Frying and oven programs - all in several levels - apparently not an aggressive specimen - nothing burns - very good (there were no levels in the element)

In general, what else can I say - both are good multi, I am happy with Kukushka - but I still miss the Element - if it were not for that general marriage and my remoteness from Moscow, I would not have exchanged it for anything.

The potato was both dry and damp

Perhaps I'll write my own little review after 4 months of using 1055, suddenly someone will come in handy ...

1. I have no desire to part with her yet, apparently we did understand each other

2. The most popular (for me) programs: Sushi-rice, Pilaf, Oatmeal, Vegetables, Stew, Soup, Roasting, PP. Well, Multipovar, of course!
I use the Oven mode (level 3) only for very fast roasting of meat.

3. I prefer the oven in a different multi with a more suitable pan shape. But here it is tastier than in others all sorts of stews, bigos, fried potatoes, etc. are obtained.

4. For myself, I defined it as "quick-fry". I still need one induction model on the farm!
But I don't consider it a classic pressure cooker, apparently it's all about the design of the valve - it almost never closes tightly, as in Brand 6050. Almost always soars, to a greater or lesser extent. Some dishes even benefit from this - not much liquid remains and the taste is not so boiled. The meat is more like fried and stew in a pressure cooker, there, too, a little steam comes out all the time.
In electric pressure cookers, it turns out to be more cooked, since the liquid does not evaporate at all. But there it is faster and more convenient to cook potatoes, vegetables for salad, broth, jellied meat, etc. In a cuckoo, potatoes can be cooked on Multipovar 105-110C. At higher temperatures, it begins to puff and evaporate water.

5. I often use the Multi Cook without pressure, especially for vegetables such as cabbage or zucchini, as we like vegetables without liquid. A strange thing: a level 2 slow cooker, where the temperature according to water measurements is close to 100C, works quieter with real products than Multipovar 97C. Apparently, their heating algorithm is different.

6.Hercules on Oatmeal is cooked without problems, rice on Dairy too. I like sushi rice very much, Pilaf is normal, crumbly, with a little frying on the bottom.

7. Irritating to reset programs that run without pressure when the lid is opened. Even the Yogurt is discarded! Curious once more, then press the buttons again

8. Many small superficial scratches appear on the bottom of the bowl. I understand that it is not dangerous, but the view does not decorate. They appear with stirring: from spices, fried crusts, etc.

9. Frankly unsuccessful modes: Buckwheat.
I tried to adapt it for other purposes (cooking potatoes, pasta). The water evaporates very quickly and the item to be cooked is pretty fried from the bottom.

In general, I don't see an induction alternative (for reasonable money) to it yet. Will appear - I will think.
P.S. I bought it for a stock. For the current full price (25 tr) I would not buy ... Then Bork is better, although he is overvalued.

How do you fry potatoes?
Gibus
Yes, in different ways, there is no hard recipe. I look at the circumstances. Probably depends on the type of potato, or maybe the voltage in the network is walking, but sometimes it turns red instantly, and sometimes somehow slowly.
Most often, I start with toasting level 2, then transfer to level 1 and close the lid. Or on Multipovar 110-115C without pressure for 15 minutes. I drop in a couple of times and stir.
Although the instruction prohibits closing the lid on Toasting, the 1st level is quite calm, the protective lid is clean.

I also like pre-fried vegetables (on their own, or with meat / chicken) to extinguish on the Ur 2 Slow Cooker, without adding water.
Roza_Irina
I'll tell you how I fry. Poured 1 tbsp. l sunflower, 1 tbsp. l butter. I cut the potatoes, salted them, put them in a bowl, added 0.5 multi glass of water and oven mode 25 minutes 1 level with the lid closed. Everything is fried and nothing needs to be interfered with. It turns out such a potato
