prascovia you can talk about all sorts.
If not difficult, please show your waffle iron.
I am plagued by vague doubts that it is cast iron.
Most likely aluminum or some kind of alloy. I have several of these.
I showed it somewhere. In order not to stick, you need to warm it up very well.
Grease with butter and bake over medium-low heat.
I used to bake mistletoe waffles Yoghurt
I really liked it.

And, really, suns. So pretty. Why don't you fold them? It is more convenient to eat them in tubes.

Quote: Julia_Ko

I wanted to make a cake. But while I was thinking about what filling to make (the waffles themselves turned out to be very sweet), the waffles somehow imperceptibly ended.
And about folding ... A video came across in the internet, as they do with the help of either a stick or a pencil. Pts cleverly obtained from comrades

Not, Vichka, pancakes will not work in the waffle iron. I've tried it. Even pancake dough makes waffles, not pancakes. Waffle maker, hazelnut

I found Cloer 271, like Manna's, I found it, the next day I climbed to make an order, and they were already bye-bye Here’s something else to look, but you need to look for reviews, again interrupt the whole topic, checking the availability
valushka-s
girls, does anyone know the differences between Cloer waffle makers 271, 281, 285? something messed up?
while looking at myself on the sly
Manna
271 without a bell, 281 with a bell, 285 with a bell and instead of white paint has a stainless steel coating on top of the metal. That's all the difference.
valushka-s
mann- point, and which is better to want?
is there any point in these gadgets?
Are the waffle makers white? and I thought they were in a stainless steel!
Manna
Valyushka, I am sorry that only now I saw the questions. Personally, I like the 271 model more (I bought it myself). I don't need bells every time, and I like white more than stainless steel.
valushka-s
manna , Thank you! now there is something to think and dream about!

Hello everyone!
Yesterday all evening I was choosing a waffle iron, I really wanted a device for thick Belgian ones. I even thought in Germany to look for an option with ordering an efe waffle iron, but I did not find an option for the Belgian waffle to have a heart shape (well, I really wanted that). in the end I thought, thought, I really need these nuts from efe, so that I can wait for her for another month and ordered cloer 1629. today I’ll arrive already I want to try to bake yoghurt waffles in the evening for the children in the morning)) and myself dietary, on corn starch)

Cloer 285 was selected by reading the reviews in the forum and the descriptions of the models.
1. At 285 the cord is quite long, while for others it is shorter (in the summer I will take it to the dacha - and there to the sockets, as to China in reverse).
2. Stainless steel - beautiful, but fingerprints remain, because the waffles are giraffes.
3. The bell is a very convenient thing, as I shake it, I take out the waffle - until I have never readily deceived the waffle. The downside is that the sound is quite loud, the husband has already asked if it is possible to make it quieter. True, I once baked waffles late in the evening, the children were already asleep and I was afraid that I would wake them up with this nightingale trill (we have no door in the kitchen - they were dismantled during the renovation), but everything turned out okay.
I think to try to muffle it somehow (the speaker can be covered with something heat-resistant). Although I generally miss this sound.
The only thing that worries me about it is the slightly crooked upper half-shape. When I close the waffle iron, it clings a little in the place where the halves of the molds connect and I noticed metal chips there - either Teflon is being erased, or metal.

So, my advice to those who will buy a waffle iron, even a different model - it is better to do this in a retail store, where you can choose from several pieces, and I bought in an online store with home delivery and I had no choice, and I did not pay attention to this defect at first.
xomka
and I baked our first waffles. The first pancake turned out to be not lumpy for children I made yoghurt, myself dietary. tasty, but from non-dietary I will look for the perfect recipe for us further. I also did not understand with this signal light. the instructions say that the wafer is ready when the lamp goes out. and my lamp somehow lit up once after closing the lid. I don’t understand, if there’s a jamb in the waffle iron itself, if I did something wrong
Zima
I have a similar waffle iron, I noticed that it works stably (the light comes on, then goes out - and the degree of ruddy is normal for my taste - at position 2) if you do not turn the temperature control knob. As soon as you start changing the settings back and forth, the waffle iron stops understanding what you want from it ..
But the light still comes on every time, just now immediately after the test is booked, then after a while ..
xomka
Zima, in, mine was just puzzled when I twisted from four to five))
thanks for the comment, you will have to watch her next time and don't tweak anything
Zima
Yeah, next time I won't twist anything either, let's see what happens

There are bonuses in Eldorado. But there is nothing to buy except the waffle iron. And the waffle iron is available Severin 2103. Are there any reviews on it? Or at least it is worth taking or not? If you answer quickly, I will be very grateful.
Hairpin
I have a five year old Severin for thick waffles. I have no pretensions to Severin (raclette maker, egg cooker and waffle iron). Taking off my hat.
Lyalya Toy
I have Severin too. Very happy
Aygul
Thank you, Shpilechka, Lyalya Toy! If the site did not cheat, and they are in the store, I will buy)
Aygul
Well, there was no Severin without a waffle iron again, there was some kind of wreck in one copy and Maxwell, it seems, nothing like that, the latch is good, but he is kind of small
Papa [BO]
Highlight the names of quality thick waffle makers. If you don't have them in Ukraine, it's okay to order from anywhere, just from the good ones I've found only KitchenAid - 5KWB100E.

I will write a short history of my choice. Since I love waffles that are sold in all sorts of shopping centers (Liège, etc.). I decided to make such houses. But when I started choosing a waffle iron for thick waffles, I ran into a problem that either consumer goods for $ 30 or industrial for $ 1000. Well, in the middle of Kitchenadas for $ 600. 600 $ seems to be not a little, given that you do not make waffles every day, I started looking for an alternative. The criteria were as follows:
1. Flip, since this, as I understand it, is the main feature, so that the waffles are lush.
2. Teflon.
3. Not more expensive than $ 300.
4. Not disposable (well, that would be enough for a long time).
Since I can't find anything normal in Ukraine, I moved the search to ebay. But there is plenty to choose from. Ultimately I bought just such a L'EQUIP LW425 Belgian Waffle Maker, in Russian here is its description 🔗
I found it for $ 110 with delivery, and quite good, I arrived in Kiev and Seoul in 14 days. Today I came and today I made Liege waffles, the only thing that I did not find pearl sugar and replaced it with brown large Milford. As I understood the essence of this has not changed, the waffles taste better than the purchased ones, I am satisfied with the result and the waffle iron.

Please tell me what kind of animal it is - Multigrill 6 (7) in 1. Maybe someone has such a thing. It is very tempting to have 7 devices in one at once, but somehow it is scary to buy. I usually have no luck with technology, I'm afraid to make a wrong choice.

Girls, why did I just enter this Temko. Well, again I got sick. I want, I want. want. I just don't know which one to choose. If I order, I will order two at once, for thin and thick wafers. I think Cloer should be chosen. And I don't know what models. Here's a read recommend for thin 271, or 285? And is it worth taking 285 or is it better to take some other? And for the fat, which is better? Can someone tell me, I will be glad to any advice. And what is better to take 15cm or 20cm in diameter.

I decided to take cloer 271 for myself! girls already tested model, I don't want to experiment
I have a waffle iron in my immediate plans (as soon as the first opportunity appears)!
before, once I had a Soviet waffle iron for many years, and I was very pleased with it,
but unfortunately it broke and we were left without it.
and then I started talking to my son about the waffle iron, and it turned out that he even remembers how delicious the waffles were!
so that the boom take! and play! and in those days I was so pleased and proud that I have such a unit !!!

Yes, I realized that many people praise the 271 models here, now I would also choose for thick waffles. I wonder how they differ?

yes, girls praise all three models.
unfortunately I do not have a separate waffle iron for thick waffles. I have replaceable panels in a sandwich maker.
wait, maybe the girls will help you with the choice later! good choice!

Olga, but for the fat ones - which ones? There are for the Belgian (rectangular) - they are thicker, there are "flowers-hearts" - they are thinner.

And I don't know which is better, honestly and have never tried it before. I think they taste the same? I choose on this site 🔗 I do not know where else I will order, so that both would be cheaper. what do you think is better to take?
Manna
Olga, it's hard for me to say about a waffle iron for Belgian waffles - I don't have one (and I don't like such waffles). I have a "flower". I most often bake liver or vegetable, fruit, cottage cheese pancakes in it. The very same size for livers. Whether the Belgian / Liege and so on. Waffles in "flowers" will turn out, I do not know - I have not tried it. I think there is not enough room for yeast to climb.

I would choose from Cloer waffle makers. They are really good. If the "flower", then you can and Klatronic, as I see. It is good because it has two forms - it’s faster to bake, but it bakes unevenly (or rather, not always evenly, and I don’t understand what it depends on), and unlike Cloer, you cannot adjust the heating time, and the coating is not as high-quality as that of Cloer (over the course of a year, I started hinting in places that it was about to start climbing). So my next "flower" will be Cloer 120 (24cm) or 171 (20cm) ... or 1329 (2x16.5cm). And for the Belgian they have 1445.

Thank you all for your congratulations! Surprisingly, everything turned out to be simple and tasty, baked according to the Ukka recipe from Loravo. I wanted to make it with boiled condensed milk, but she was not at home. These waffles are like a donut on the inside, but crispy on the outside. An unexpected combination, the child is delighted, and she also helped me bake them!
In general, everyone is happy.

Shl the waffle iron bakes quite evenly and the speed suited me - fast enough, but it also does not have time to burn if you spin (look at the computer)))) and forget about them)))
Tanyulya
Lisa, congratulations. My son is very fond of these, fat.
