Salad Sunny Magadan

Ingredients

Smoked fish 300-350 gr.
Corn cons. 1 can
Carrot 1 PC. average
Eggs 3-4 pcs.
Rice 100 g
Onion 1 PC. average
Pepper taste
Mayonnaise taste

Cooking method

  • Carrots and onions are medium in size, 3 or 4 eggs depending on size.
  • Fish can be anything from herring to salmon (herring is more economical, and it is easier to separate the bones from salmon), not even greasy, but not dry.
  • We select the volumes of ingredients so as to compensate for the salinity of the fish.
  • Separate the bones from the fish and chop finely, like onions; cut boiled eggs and carrots no larger than corn grains. Mix in a container with boiled rice, season with pepper and season with mayonnaise, mix.
  • Decorate with carrots, corn kernels and yolks if desired.
  • History:
  • When I got a new job (for a long time already), there was a tradition on my birthday to treat them to a signature dish, such as pizza or fish in batter.
  • I had to come up with this recipe based on corn salad with fish sticks, replacing the sticks that were not tasty (for my taste) with natural fish, adding piquancy with smoked meats.

Why "sunny" is understandable, since the shades of yellow and orange carrots openly hint, but why "Magadan" - I myself do not know, I have never even been there.

I usually don't decorate salads, but eat them in their natural form. Here, decoration is without frills and will not take much time. "Naked" it looks like this:
