Since many in PM asked me about Philips multi-cutter, I am writing a mini-report here.
It takes up little space:

Electric vegetable cutter

6 attachments included:

Electric vegetable cutter

Top row of grater, fine and coarse. The bow on the shallow did not hit the lens. Bo did not expect such a result. Large onion:

Medium sticks. Onion:

On the right is a special nozzle for potatoes.

After frying, largest block: 35mm x 4mm x 7mm

Bottom row slicers. Cucumbers:

julifera, Thank you!

Today I cut onions, carrots, bell peppers on a slicer 2.4 mm of this recipe. Carrots stick two together at once. At the end, they "lay down" and instead of circles, they turned into ovals. The onion is also cut as it hits the knives, that is, not always in rings. As a result, for such a dish quickly and without waste.

Three days of thinking about this multi-cutter (Philips HR1388 / 50) haunted me. I read this topic, read reviews on the net and ......... ordered it yesterday.
Now I'm waiting. They'd rather bring it to me, I really want to cut everything on it ...

I sit looking through the harvesters, there are very compact ones, but none of them has the required number of attachments

The video is wonderful. I want to warn you: turn on the shredder first, and then load the product. In this video, the cabbage was loaded and then turned on. This will cause the motor to burn out.

For salad, frying, vegetables for roast, soup is enough. For blanks, no. Today I reworked 27 kg of cabbage for pickling on Boshik MUM86

I recently called Phillips, so Mozhel 1388 has not even been announced yet, so, as I understand, wait a long time, or even pass by, and their disks are so expensive ... some nonsense
I just looked at the Bosch Cubix, I don't have any Boshik, so I sit for days now I read reviews about it and so the cube bribes me and the price is nice now ... I'll talk my husband to a vegetable cutter, but a little more ....

I did not expect that Phillips-cube would help me out so much when preparing cans - I plowed so many vegetables, for cans, for drying - while I like everything

Yesterday at home we thought and thought, thought and thought and decided - after all, we like Philips Cube much more than the new Philips Vegetable Cutter 1388.
Filikubik has excellent thickness of both graters, and there are cubes for every taste - it covers all our needs.
And in the new vegetable cutter, the chips for fries are so small that we don't use them, and it's a pity to keep this device just for the sake of thin straws like Korean carrots.
In addition, nothing scatters the cube, no need to pick up suitable tall bowls, does not jump on the table and does not stagger in the process, all attachments are conveniently stored in the bowl, conveniently disassembled and can be stored without taking up much space.

And we decided:
- stop wanting a novelty 1388;
- to buy Philips 1669 for parents with a set of additional attachments.

It would certainly be gorgeous if a disc for thin cubes was released to the Philips Cube
Admin

I've worked with a Phillips cube, looked at the cut and figured that for everyday use it is just what you need:
- cubes 1x1
- small thin straws (carrots)
- thin strips (cabbage for cabbage soup)

I don’t make fries every day. for soup, you can cut 1-2 potatoes with your hands, if for frying fries, then Berner's slicing will do, it copes well with fries.

But the model 1669 has a hook for kneading noodle dough, which I really like
Aina
And it annoys me in the filikubik that one hand is busy with a button
And if you knead the dough, then stand over it and bzhikai and so on with everything.
Here are the cubes, however, wonderful and small-sized it
I keep thinking and wanting, wanting and thinking ... and I rub and I rub everything by hand

And how long does it take? No more than 1 minute, and then with interruptions - you can endure for the sake of a high-quality kneading of dense dough

If the vegetables are prepared in advance, there is no problem and shrug with one hand, a matter of habit

But I very often use thin straws:
- for pilaf
- for soup (short sticks)
- for borscht, truffle and beets and carrots
- for pumpkin porridge.
I, in principle, on 1388 and began to stare because of this grater

For whom this does not suit, they buy a Bosch cube or here's a novelty from Philips, or both together
But you have to pay for everything - Bosch is bulky, and 1388 is without cubes.
And the fact that you need to hold a button in Filikubik is for me the most suitable payment for everything that he gives
It doesn't bother me at all

I rub very little carrots for all of the above dishes - my hand does not get tired at all on Berner.
But for Korean carrots, yes, it's already stressing 1.5-2 kg with handles (wipes sweat from the forehead)

Shl
I lied - not everything from the list
- for borscht and soup, I don't like bars as for Korean carrots, I will run into the size after grating filikubik
(and we don't like pumpkin at all)

Aina! The Bosch cube is good and convenient, and if you want it, of course, it is convenient for harvesting the holidays, and Philips is a vegetable cutter for every day, this is for me personally, and if you choose between them take a cube, there are more functions - it's a combine! And I want Phillips because I have Boshiki!

Girls, a wonderful person Lana19 gave me the coordinates of an online store (I was looking for disks for Bosch), but found it in parallel for a Phillips at ridiculous prices (just in the official service for 300 UAH apiece), I don't know if they fit a vegetable cutter, but judging by the diameter must, there is for fries and for drannikov. Who needs to write in a personal

Girls, I greet everyone. I read on the forum about the Philips HR1388 / 50 vegetable cutter and bought it. I like her very much. But there is one question for the owners of this device. Does the disc holder bend slightly to the side during operation when you press the vegetable with the pusher? When the top cover is removed, it is felt that the disc holder flexes freely in different directions. I hope I explained it clearly. I am worried that suddenly something is not right in me. And if everyone has it, then the design features. Develop my doubts.
julifera
These are probably the design features such, because the stubs remain hefty from the deflection.
5:25 a.m. - a bit too much in the unfinished balance

Aina

from the deflection, the bits remain hefty.
The stubs remain when, for example, the carrot lies down. I run the cut without anything for a few seconds, raising and lowering the holder. The bits are practically rubbed out.

I took such a cut from a friend for hire, try it and decide again whether it is needed or not. The disc really bends and sways there, this is a design feature, and it should be so. The undercuts remain and you need to act as Mistletoe describes and that does not always help, that something remains. Carrot rubs well on this grater, goes freely. But I tried to grate the apples with a hard skin on a fine grater, they didn't rub at all, the porridge got stuck, the juice flowed out. On a coarse grater, they frayed. The most trouble-free grater in it is small blocks. The sliced product scatters from centrifugal force, you need to substitute a wide and high dish, but this is so in all graters that they rub in a circle. In my meat grinder, Mulinex flies even more with graters, just have time to catch. : girl_haha: Cucumbers for salad on both inserts are very thinly sliced - not my size. In short, Philips cube cutter is better for me personally, but it is much more powerful.

You can put it in a saucepan, but it should also fit the size. I didn't have one, either higher or lower, and the diameter should be wider if the saucepan is high.
And I somehow love wide low pots, they don't fit here.
Alenky
Svelana62! Have you tried everything already?
Svettika
Girls, thank you all! I calmed down knowing that everyone has such a deflection. To prevent the slices from flying apart, I also put a tall bowl. Well, in order to have less waste, you just need to get the hang of it and push the vegetables correctly with a pusher, as I wrote above Omela.

Svelana! Have you tried everything already?
No, Alena, that's not all. I also tried slices of carrots on a thick slicer in a meat and vegetable stew and potatoes on a coarse grater for pancakes (we love so much). All liked it. The fine grater and fine shredder have not yet been run in. I just cook mostly either in a slow cooker or in a slow cooker, shade well. There you will not feel such a trifle. You probably need to rub the apple and carrot on a salad on a fine grater, I haven't done it for a long time. A small shredder, I think, will go well in winter for winter cabbage for salad. And you won't have to grind too much.
Alenky
Svetlana62 Are fries in use or can you get by?
