Girls, more than a year has passed since your discussion. What good advice do you have today? Maybe something new has appeared?
I have choppers in my blender and mixer, but there are choppers. Excellent, good. And to cut in different circles, stripes?

Caprice thanks for the answer, but if you can picture what kind of cutting in slices or as fries. Sorry that I'm not so smart, I have one slices, the second is like fries, the third grater is fine, the fourth is for mashed potatoes and two small inserts, if you honestly do not know where to insert them, one thin one, the other is thicker, you can tell in more detail Thank you, sorry for pestering

So I inserted the clip. You can see everything there, how it cuts. And for the previous vegetable cutter, I have no pictures

Girls, tell me who knows! I would like to buy an electric grocery cutter so as not to rub it with your hands. Need cutting into slices and cubes (as on a regular grater), you can also dice. What do you recommend? Or is it better to buy a Burner for these purposes?

At the moment, I have considered modern options for electric brushes available for sale. Found 6:
1) Mandolin Electrica (the price does not correspond to the power, well, the reviews in this topic finally convinced me)
2) Ariete 1789 Saladino Chef (price, reviews, power - quite decent)
3) Ariete 1796 \ 1792 (did not inspire, + negative reviews)
4) Moulinex DJ756G35 (everything would be fine, but according to some reviews it is rather weak for fresh carrots)
5) Philips HR 1387 (everything seems to be fine, but the price is incomparable with the next option) video (model 1388 by reference differs by the presence of a blade for fries)
6) Philips HR 7605 (not new, proven, inexpensive compared to the previous version) video

I have e-mail for 10 years. Vegetable cutter Philips is very happy, especially when in the fall I freeze the carrots for the winter at once 5 kg shred.
look at the Philips HR 7605, although they called it a food processor, but this is a vegetable cutter.
watch the video from point 6, is it not too dreary to disassemble and assemble all this every time or does it just seem to me so? and it gets hammered there all the time! (seen in the video in link 5)
or is it better to take Moulinex, everything is clean and simple there ..?

liquidboy, video at work is not available for me, but it is not at all dreary for me to collect mine, but it can be washed in the dishwasher perfectly, I still use it.

you definitely need cubes for the first 2 weeks after purchasing a cube cutter. After that, the family categorically refuses to eat Olivier, vinaigrette and fruit salads.

If you take Moulinex, then take the cubes with a meat grinder and a nozzle. Just a vegetable cutter Moulinex, even with the same attachments, seems to me low-power ...

OlennaTM,
Having bought all kinds of all kinds of mechanical devices for cutting cubes, from time to time I return to the fact that I continue to want and gaze intently at electric cube cutters. I refuse to buy what is on the market, because they duplicate my technique. I don't need a blender, grater, meat grinder, or knives - I just need one electric cube cutter. Well, why not invent it so elegant for little money, for us poor girls YYYYYY I hate all of them producers of damned YYYY lobbying their anti-cubic interests

I myself have a Philips HR7768 combine for a very long time and I also really like it!

His bowl and graters are very similar to the Philips HR7605, only I also have a blender, a juicer and a meat grinder.

Girls, there is a compact harvester (like Phillips in the photo) Binaton 705.
I bought it for the sake of shredding a small amount of vegetables, when I cook - anything, just not to rub my hands on any graters!
There is: a utility knife, a dough attachment, a beater attachment, an emulsion attachment, a fine and coarse grater, and shredders: fine and coarse. I really like him. He makes liver pate at a time, vegetables for borscht - also quickly.
If you need to prepare salads for the winter - all vegetables are rubbed with a meat grinder with Zelmer attachments - a "kitchen tank".

and for blanks or for freezing is also great. Freeze the zucchini on the stew in cubes, pumpkin into the pie, roll the vinaigrette into the jars - and the beetroot does not spoil, and the cube cutter once in the fall used and washed, and for a quick dinner, half the vinaigrette as a semi-finished product is convenient.

Removable knives, require improvement. The fact is that there is a sharp edge in the place where the knife platform clicks behind the plastic ledge. Which bites into the plastic protrusion and, when removing the knife platform, cuts off a piece of plastic. If this disgrace is not stopped, the plastic protrusion will be severely damaged over time and the knife platform will no longer be securely fixed. Therefore, it is necessary to blunt the sharp edge with a small file or scissor paper. "

"Horror, quiet horror! Low-power. When shredding carrots, it chokes. It took a lot of work to cut cabbage for borscht.))) As a result, I cut it with a knife! Cucumbers may be able to cut without problems.)))

Model Philips HR 1388, new with extra grater for fries.
I bought this new product, I use it, of course, the potatoes are not very similar to fries, since they are somewhat flat and also rounded, but as for a change to fry, it will do.
It is convenient to use, right in a salad bowl or in a package, however, the lower power is felt against my old Phillips -7735 (700 W), but I forgive him for the compactness.
If there are Berner's graters, then, it seems, and not really necessary. Only with me, no matter how much I use Berner, I remember all the time that it is not a good idea to cut yourself on it, but here safety attracts.
Photographed in comparison with Thermomix, so that the real size of this grater was clear.
In my case, it fit in as it was there, I would not recommend it to others.

I just saw this topic ... A month ago I thought about buying this vegetable cutter. I bought it. I am very satisfied. Here is the report:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=193859.2480
I have been using it for a week now. I really like the free disk. Yesterday I made fresh porcini mushrooms for frying. Amazing. I really like the CD Julienne. Radish and cucumber salad in a second. Today I chopped bell peppers, onions, carrots on a thin slicer for stewed beans. I don't see any problems with removing the attachment. Films well.

Babushka, with the update you I also like to use this grater, although I can’t call it ideal because of its low power (compared to Philips combines, and here many already have them) and an incomprehensible grater-fries (on Berner 10 mm french fries it turns out much better). By the way, I also have no difficulties with changing the attachments.

I would like to share my impression of the Philips HR 1388. The longer I use, the more I like it. Easy to disassemble, wash, compact. I make salads on it every day. Yesterday borshchik made without meat - easy! The whole process is 30 minutes with cooking. I have not tried to cut sausage yet. And grate the cheese. Tomorrow I will make thick waffles on feta cheese, so I'll try
Tanyusha
My old Phillips vegetable cutter has a fries attachment and she is 14 years old.

I want to share my delight (again) with the use of the Philips HR 1388 electric shredder.
In a matter of seconds, she chopped vegetables into a stew: eggplant and tomatoes on a fried platter, onions and bell peppers on a thin slicer, and carrots and garlic on julienne. Cut right into the pan. Due to the fact that the sides are not very high, it got a little past.

Girls who have Phillips 1388, help me decide, I have a few questions here:
1) Is it realistic to chop cabbage?
2) are thin strips similar in thickness to Korean carrots or like on a regular grater?
3) Is the 2.4mm shredder good? I just don't really like it when the slices shine through in a salad or stew, I like thicker, plus I plan to chop the onion on it for frying - really?
Thank you in advance, I'm really looking forward to it, otherwise such an impatient child is already ... I really want and I'm afraid that I will get something completely different ...

Shred cabbage for salads every day. There is a thin slicer and thicker. I use both depending on the dressing. For Korean salad I use a julienne attachment. I make the stew on a fries attachment (eggplant, zucchini, potatoes). It is convenient to chop the onion on a slicer. I just lay it with a fork (after turning it on) so that it crosses the rings. But, all this is convenient for small volumes. A combine is better for blanks. It's my opinion.

Babushka, Thank you very much! That is, Korean carrots can be made !!! Have you tried cutting halves of an onion on a fries attachment, in theory, you should get almost cubes or is it my fantasy?
Damn, when this film appears in Kiev, we only have the previous model 1387 on sale, and it does not have a disc for fries, and for some reason 1388 is not there, although I watched it in Russia at full speed, and in Belarus it already exists ... can
I looked at Supra, but in Ukraine you will not find it with fire in the daytime, and there are not enough graters there, but the cubes certainly win over.
Thank you, girls))) I probably got to the right place, there are all such lovers of kitchen appliances, they are stunned))) Don't show anything to my mom except the knife and the board, but I already don't have enough space in the kitchen and that's all, it seems ...

Exactly! I recently looked for a leg for a mixer (also a Phillips), so in the service one leg without a motor costs 320 UAH, while a new one for 380 can be found ?! We found a new one through a slando for 100 (people are specifically engaged in spare parts, only the assortment there is one or two and missed), it works fine, it just snaps a little tighter than the native one. I think they won't have a disc for fries, and I don't even want to call the service after the blender! I will wait for 88 model
Alenky
Interestingly Babushka bought her in Prague, whose assembly is she? The Turkish assembly is coming to us! The model will not reach Ukraine 1388 only!
