Kurbat
Many thanks to everyone! Eeeeh, I'll venture to start using it, the new one is exactly 10 years old)
Bijou
Kurbat, well, will you wash it, is it not enough for you, perhaps, body movements?)))

Just don't start right away with complicated things like potatoes, pancakes, cutlets or cheesecakes. Here are pancakes and pies - this is the same. And I bought my first stainless steel exclusively for sauerkraut. And for about five years she almost only did this, until I was enlightened on another forum about meat and fried eggs. I was soooo surprised that I immediately went and fried ... an egg. In my link, it is exactly on the first photo of the little Gourmet.)) After that I went and bought a big one.

Ah, here's another little benefit.) If you still can't make friends, boil ordinary sunflower oil in a stainless steel. Do not evaporate, do not build up a crust, do not overheat to smoke. Just let it warm for 15-30 minutes, simulating deep-fried cooking. Somehow, oil eats into steel and an unreasonable piece of iron is re-educated.)) Everyone probably knows how difficult it is to wash a stainless pan from traces of oil after frying brushwood or pasties. Seems clean, but not what it should be.

Good morning!
I continue to watch pancake pans.
Most of the reviews do not lean towards a specific model. The store visually liked the 22cm NEVA METAL. In one store, they recommended the 24cm BIOL cast iron, but for some reason there are many bad reviews about it. And in another online store, they said that the best 25cm TIMA / TVS Art Granit. But in terms of photo and size, I think it is quite deep for pancakes. What can you tell me about these? 🔗 🔗 🔗
Belka13
shtrih, I have a cast-iron Biol - I'm delighted with it. There is also Neva Metal and Swiss Diamond. They are also good, but the most delicious pancakes are made at Biolovskaya.
Kapet
Belka13, that's how it is, - cast iron rules, and not only in pancake making. But ... Show your biceps ..!?
Belka13
Kapet, come on! It’s not that heavy. This is not some kind of cauldron.
Kapet
Belka13, I put the kazan on once, and you don't touch it anymore, unlike the pancake pan ...
Belka13
Constantin, but the muscles will pump up a little. In fact, everything is individual. I was most satisfied with the result from a cast-iron frying pan, so I moved on to it.

You were offered here quite specific models with very specific reviews.
It seems to me that my wife will get tired of waiting while you collect reviews and conduct marketing research
Kapet
Belka13, my daughter also prefers a cast iron for pancakes. But at the same time, it happens that he sings the debut song "Lube" on television:

You are a unit, Dusya,
You, Dusya, are a unit.
You are a unit, Dusya,
One hundred kilowatts.
Come on, Dusya,
Eh, Dusya, squeeze.
Come on, Dusya,
Eh, Dusya, add it.

24cm BIOL cast iron

I have an electric hob and have a bad experience with BIOL. Pancakes came out "Day-Night". Half of the pancake is white, half is fried.

I switched to a pancake skeptic - there is no such thing. I am very satisfied. BUT the pan is really heavy, so if the joints / hands are fragile then maybe not worth it.

There was a non-stick Le Creuset. I fried perfectly, but pancakes with cast iron are much tastier for us

With cast iron everything tastes better, IMHO ... But for him, for good, care is needed if it is not enameled ...
Belka13
I have gas. Everything is baked evenly.

There is knowledge and experience in this regard, so we look after. More precisely, we do not look after in any way. Frying pan for pancakes only. Fried - removed. No washing. You can wipe it with a dry paper towel, but this is not necessary either, since pancakes do not float in oil when fried.
Igrig
shtrih,
About the pros and cons of pans made of different metals have already been said before me. Therefore, the choice is yours.
And I want to draw your attention to the handle. Categorically (oh, how tough!) You should not take a wire handle (as in the second photo), and not take a frying pan with a handle made of a flat strip of steel (although there are no pancakes like that). In the first case, unpleasant sensations from using (the palm is a very sensitive place), in the second case, painful sensations will also be added to the unpleasant sensations (sharp edges at such handles).
Timovskaya frying pan with high sides will be a little less convenient to use.
Our wife bakes pancakes, once bought a cheap Ikeevskaya, which after 3 months lost its non-stick properties, well, when choosing, I reviewed at least 20 pieces of pans !!!
Chose Risoli Granito, non-stick aluminum. The handle is the most comfortable, ideal ergonomic shape - fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, there is a convenient and very useful ridge-stop (exactly ridge!) For the thumb (Timovskaya has a hollow on the handle as a stop).
Keep in mind that the pancake pan has to be manipulated with each pancake if you do not use a dough distribution stick.
Sibelis
It would be interesting to know which pan is the best at the moment. With non-stick coating, suitable for induction, the price does not matter. What to look for from premium brands?
kirch
I have Stoneline (maybe I wrote it wrong). Unkillable. For several years, the view is already unpresentable, but nothing sticks
Svetlenki

which pan is the best at the moment. Non-stick, suitable for induction

Sibelis, Natasha, this is such a difficult question. It depends on why ... The non-stick coating will never give such a crust of meat or fish, like aluminum or metal ... And Tefal from Jimmy Oliver is nothing, I have Le Cruz, too good. But I am always very careful with them - do not overheat, only silicone devices when working with them ...
optimist
Sibelis, I'm a fan of Tefal frying pans. There are also from the expensive segment and cheaper. They are extremely durable and have a good finish.
Sibelis
optimist, Tefal are also different. I would take it, but I don't know how to choose. Look at the series, at the name, at the place of production?
dopleta
Natasha, you for induction? And for her, Tefal, in my opinion, has only one series and is produced, Tefal Ingenio Induct, I wrote about her in the topic "Cookware for induction cookers". I'm also happy.
Igrig
Quote: dopleta

Tefal has a lot of series that are suitable for induction. It's just a name with the use of this word.
You can see Tefal on the website.

🔗

Sibelis,
We have pans of the Expert series (also suitable for induction). This is the top ruler. Two years without any complaints, at least 5 times a week in intensive use.
Before that, they were also Tefal, also with top-end coverage for those times, they last 4-5 years without any problems. All were made in France.
In Russia, they make the lower lines of Tefal coated cookware. It is clear that by their properties they are significantly inferior to the top lines. This is objective and obvious, as is the fact that there is no eternal covering. This must be accepted calmly, without emotion.
P.S. There is also a sad experience. Voll's frying pan and cauldron began to burn after a year and a half ...

My two Vollovsky pans began to stick somewhere after this period.

The same story with Woll. Therefore, I will never take it again.

And all sorts of scanpans? The store began to consult, they recommended scanpan, then risoli
Igrig
Sibelis,
I can't say anything about Scanpan, but Risoli is a very worthy company. Just keep in mind, they have different series with different coatings. For some reason, the brown coating turned out to be fragile in my son, it swelled up.
The other Risoli pans have worked and are doing well.
Sibelis
Igrig, thanks, I will take into account. And I rejected the scanpan, because horse price tag there are rivets from the handle inside the pan. I don't like that. But they give a guarantee for coverage for 10 years ...
Igrig
Quote: Sibelis
But they give a guarantee for coverage for 10 years ...
I remembered about this brand. The prices are really exorbitant, they are made in China, the brand itself seems to be listed as Danish. 10 years - this is from the series "or donkey - or padishah" ...
Ballarini's native Italy, even for top coatings, does not give such terms. Depending on the series, from 3 to 5 years, it seems that there are 6, I don't remember exactly.
And Scanpan 10 is probably not for the preservation of non-stick properties, but like for the absence of a manufacturing defect ... And they say: 10 years, modestly keeping silent that not a single non-stick coating will last such a period, well, if you do not use a frying pan at all ...
Svetlenki
Quote: Igrig
And Scanpan 10 is probably not for the preservation of non-stick properties, but for the absence of manufacturing defects ...

Yes, you have to study carefully here. Even Le Cruz, with a lifetime warranty, is very meticulous when replacing coating defects, and if it's obvious scratches from kitchen utensils, there will be no replacement.

And the non-stick coating is perfectly scratched with whole spices such as cloves, cardamom, cumin. And shrimp in their shell can damage the coating when frying.
Sibelis
Igrig, but we sell these "native" tefali, ballarini, or do you need to carry it from over the hill? So it is possible, I got a 14 kg slicer from Brussels, I pinned a frying pan - a shit question
Fotina
I want to buy a frying pan from Kukmor. I choose between Dream Granite and Kukmara Granite Ultra. It seems that both of them are coated with Greblon, but which one?
Dreams seem to have 3+, but on the site I did not find confirmation, only from this top.
Kukmara has the "exclusive granit ultra" coating from Greblon. Apparently, also Greblon, but with what index?

I asked myself - I found it myself.
The Granit Ultra line has a Greblon C2 + coating with three additional layers of speckles, reinforced with a new generation of superhard minerals, similar in hardness to diamond. This coating can withstand 27,000 abrasion cycles.
The durability of the coating allows the use of non-sharp metal utensils. You can stir with a spoon or turn with a spatula.
How much did these specks REALLY strengthen the C2 + coating?
Sibelis
I have two frying pans Kukmora granite, but it seems not ultra. At least I don't remember. I like it very much.
Svetlenki
Does anyone have a Skeppshult grill pan? How are your impressions? What hob do you use? I would be grateful for your feedback and thoughts on this matter.

I had a le cruet - they did not make friends. Now I'm thinking about this. Do you need it or not?
Ketsal
Svetlenki, I and my daughter-in-law have a grill pan from Tefal. I somehow did not understand the buzz, but my daughter-in-law uses it every other day and squeaks with delight. It seems to me that the material has nothing to do with it, it's either your device or not. I like grill gas better. I didn't get meat on it, I make salmon steaks, but there are fewer splashes and odors on the grill gas. The daughter-in-law prepares meat, steaks and vegetables!
Angel with horns
Tell me something about a frying pan from the Neva metal cookware "Home" 24cm. A lot has been written about this brand, but one brand has lines and models that are very different in quality. If there are real users of such a frying pan, write your impressions, pliz.
dopleta
I have it - I won several pans from the NMP many years ago, including this one, in some kind of competition, and it is still in excellent condition: the non-stick coating has not worn out, and nothing burns.True, some users complained that recently the quality of NMP dishes has decreased, but I am very pleased with mine and I think they are no worse, and perhaps even better than expensive imported ones.
Angel with horns
dopleta, thanks for the answer.
M @ rtochka
Irina, I have another series, Bordeaux, I have been using it for a year. Also very, very happy!
Angel with horns
M @ rtochka, Thank you! I just found a home and a pancake house with a cat with a good discount, so I was tempted.
ValerieYa62
I have a pancake shop, though with emoticons. I have been using it for 5 years already. Excellent, I love her dearly))
Mirabel
Ladies! if the handle of the pan is like a scale .. probably it's the temperature? what kind of pot is this? type of pressure cooker will everything lock up and cook under pressure?
Igrig
Mirabel,
To be honest, I haven't seen any self-locking pressure cookers!
Most likely it's just a thermometer built into the handle.
For example, we have one in the mantle. I don't see any practical benefit from it. It still shows the temperature of the lid, not the contents of the pan ...

there are AMS pots, they have such a shnyaga on the lid and when the pressure starts to build up, it blocks itself, and while the products are not boiling, you can open and add what I forgot
Svetta
Mirabel, Vika, is the scale on the handle of the pan itself or on the lid of the pimp pan and open the lid for this pimp? If on the lid itself like this

This is exactly the case when "it is not very well cut, but very tightly sewn", when the design is far from graceful, but amazing thermal characteristics, complete indestructibility and the same initial appearance after many years. I have 4 pans, 4 pots, 4 ladles and 2 stainless bowls from this company for 11 years in use. I bought it in 2004. My daughter also has a whole line of Amet, including even a kettle.
I opted for the Amet pan, I needed a large 7-9 liter and at a reasonable price. Sometimes boil jellied meat, summer preparations, paint over cabbage, boil broth or borscht. I ordered this for 7 liters, then I will report)

Yulchik, usually they don't ferment in stainless steel ... Unless it's a super duper stainless steel. But I still wouldn't have dared. You never know

Svetlenki, Sveta, I heard yes. Who says what, some are allowed, others are not allowed, as well as about plastic
In any case, after salting, I will transfer it to other containers for storage.
