  • The specified amount of dough is enough for 8 jars. The dough in the jar should not be more than half of the jar or form. I put the jars in the air fryer right on the bottom of the larger bowl, they all do not fit into the deep-fat basket. And yet, I did not completely close the fryer, but left a tiny crack to make it easier to pull out the bowl without a handle.

  • P.s.
  • I couldn't find the right molds for the air fryer. When I was buying large glass canning jars, I found these jam jars on the counter. In the vastness of the worldwide network, I found baking recipes in glass jars. These jars with a wide neck, rolls out of them shake out easily. You can store these buns in the refrigerator by covering the Cupcakes with the lid, I suppose in cans, you can also bake.

mary_kyiv - Have you tried silicone muffin molds?
They are easier to handle in an air fryer

I don't use silicone baking dishes, I prefer ceramics.
These glass jars are 325 grams, that is, it is good for buns or muffins, and for muffins, you probably need to take smaller jars in which they sell mustard or horseradish.
I was still baking bread in a glass slate, it turned out funny, the bread rose a lot in the firmware and came out like a bun.
The main advantage of baking in an air fryer is, of course, the speed of heating, you can do it in small portions, for me it is important not to drive a large oven for a few buns for breakfast.

With silicone, it's clear, in his garden, I myself also like ceramics more
It's just that I'm such a coward with these hot cans, as I think how "convenient" it is to tinker with them .... probably I would be calmer in ramekinki, but I generally bake rye pastries, the dough allows you to lay the cake directly on the grid.
According to your recipe, the dough keeps its shape, can you put the koloboks directly on the grid or have you already tried it and didn't like it? without a can the crust is different?

And why put cool dough into jars, explain to dark? Is this air fryer akin to an airfryer?

I, too, at first was going to bake cupcakes in frames, tried to shove them in a deep fryer, but, here, those molds that I have did not fit at all. If you put them in a basket with a mesh, then only two things fit in and they stand as if inclined to each other, and you cannot put the ramekin on the convex bottom of the airfryer, it just falls on its side. These jars have caught my eye, the need to look for a suitable frame has disappeared. And with jars it is convenient, of which buns, muffins fly out at once.

The dough is not steep, it keeps its shape due to the seeds, it is sticky curd and adheres perfectly to the net without a mold. Perhaps, if you take completely dry cottage cheese and sprinkle the finished dough thoroughly with flour or flakes, it will not stick, I don't know, I haven't tried it.
I use molds because buns, if baked without a mold, get too thick and hard crust, such a hard ball comes out, I did not like it. Only the cakes were soft.

By the way, for the air fryer, I just found the next accessory, it is called airfryer baking basket HD9925 / 00, this is a specially designed baking dish, costs about 18 pounds, should be ordered.
