Dear smoker owners, tell me, does steam come out of the pressure indicator all the time? I just got it, boiled water on the "Soup" for 15 minutes. Almost all this time there were few pairs. This is normal?

No, steam must not escape through the indicator. Steam can be vented through the pressure regulator if the pressure in the smoker is too high. Steam can escape through the indicator only for about a minute after the liquid boils and before the float is raised. If steam escapes after closing the valve, then it is not completely closed.

The pressure indicator in the handle should be rinsed well.
It must fall (move) under its own weight when the cover is turned over.
Steam comes out of it only until it closes, when the pressure regulator is loaded,
then nothing comes out of it, well, only if a little bubbling and very slowly.
Steam can only come out of it if it is clogged and not closed.
Husky
And I had a pressure indicator through the hole, until it blocked off steam and "spat water". As soon as it was blocked it was no longer "spitting water" and there was no steam.
At 4 minutes after switching on, the first sounds appeared.
At 8 minutes, bubbles came from the pressure indicator (holes on the lid)
At 10 minutes, the pressure indicator blocked the air supply to the pan (that is, the pressure in the pan rose)
Manna
Husky, and you poured cold water? My valve closes after 5 minutes. I pour hot water.
Husky
Yes, she poured cold filtered water.
Marinasdl
my valve did not close either at the 8th minute or at the 12th minute, the hiss and the flow of steam from the indicator kept increasing. I could not stand it - turned it off

To the left of the indicator, on the side of the handle, there is a small metal button. Click on it. It is possible that the plate overlapping the float, which is displaced when the lid is opened and closed, is not fully open and interferes with its lifting.

Not pressed, the steam goes on more and more intensively.

Check the locking stroke by opening the cover.
Press the large button inside the lid (it is opposite the small outer one) and release.
Everything should click and move easily.
Open and close the cover.
Look at the little button on the side
it should normally be about 3 mm long.
When closing the lid, the button extends up to about 10 mm
and again sinks into place, when the lid is fully closed, to a size of about 3 mm.

If all this is so, then all this will work.

Well, if you just look at the integrity of the valve gasket in the handle, this small silicone ring looks like a small coil.

Checking his condition is more difficult, but let's not talk about it for now.

It is better to turn it off so as not to scald, and try some thin long object like a crochet hook to check if your float is moving at all. Have you checked it? Maybe it got jammed there?

While there are no chips, I decided to read the instructions, I agree with Luda that the photos are not informative. If I didn’t have an LL pressure cooker, then I probably would not have immediately figured out what kind of indicator, what a regulator is (and that and that pressure). Took instructions from LL. it is just like on 2 sheets of A4. But everything is so accessible, informative, schematically shown that even I, well, generally a person far from technology, was able to figure it out. Here's a piece of the photo:
🔗.
I think that manufacturers need to think about this, the description is one thing, but the diagram is completely, completely different.
Vichka
And with multicooker and everything like that, everything is somehow simple, I don't even read the instructions too much. Opened the box, took out / washed and go!
Here I bought a built-in microwave and read the instructions before turning it on, so now I just have it - I can't figure it out!
I made a conclusion for myself that I will only study kitchen appliances myself.
But I'm certainly not an example!

Relieve pressure and turn off multicooker.
Open the cover.

I did everything, everything moves, the float has risen. The water has been boiling for about 10 minutes (there was boiling water). Steam is visible on the handle, sometimes it is stronger and visible visually. Doesn't hiss. Question: change?, Because if you smoke, then all the smoke will be in the kitchen, or is it still not so scary?

It seems to me that multicooker is simpler, there are no valves, pressure indicators (I have Panas), but with a pressure cooker, the unit is still more complicated, but this is my IMHO.

It is not entirely clear. Where does the steam come from?
From a load with a black ball or from the handle valve?
Nothing should come out of the valve.
If it still goes (etches) slightly, then either a torn gasket or there is a burr that prevents the valve from closing completely.

There are two options:
1. Change the valve under warranty.
2.After chatting with Brand, get the go-ahead to try to fix it yourself (it may not work), well, if there is someone to do it.

You don't need to be upset about this,
just a slight inconvenience and delay in smoking.

There is no one to do, the most annoying thing is that I just bought it today, and I don’t even know whether it’s simple or not. Suddenly this is a technically complex product, and everything is only through the service. I'll call you tomorrow and ask. I bought it in Eurolux in St. Petersburg.

This, in my opinion, can be done, but not the best solution.
If they are stubborn and do not change right away, then everything will drag on,
if replaced, then good.
You can do otherwise, ask Brand for a new valve or a gasket from it.
Replacing it is not difficult, unscrew one nut.
There is a representative from them here, I will attach the mail address now

Do not worry if the marriage will be changed without problems, I also changed the multicooker (the modes were confused). The only thing I didn’t like was that the courier had brought it, and I had to ram it myself. Good luck!

I don't think there is any reason to worry, they usually reserve for orders.

For the sake of business, I set up cooking pea soup. I made a frying on the "frying", poured boiling water over, put potatoes, peas, salted, poured all kinds of herbs, put on "soup" for 50 minutes. We wait... 5 minutes normal flight, the valve closed. Peace and quiet, the current timer flips a minute ago ... Snow outside the window ... Beautiful ...

Muzhan will soon cut it off in order to stop spending the family budget !!! "
And that's what I wanted to ask. Girls who bought a saucepan for the smokehouse without a heating element, tell me how is it quality? Like a multicooker (Brand 501, for example from Daikin) or simpler ??? I would like to immediately order a spare pot and a sealant. Am I thinking correctly ???

It all depends on whether this smokehouse ischo and a pressure cooker. If yes, then the train of thought is very correct And the quality ... yeah, it looks like the inside is similar to 37501, but the outside is different ... mnu has ceramic pans so covered on the outside ... I don't know what kind of coating it is

Masha, are the peas whole or in halves? Not soaked?

Somehow it didn't work out in my multicooker with peas. I think it will work in a pressure cooker.
SchuMakher
Luysia Half peas, did not soak, covered everything and closed. The result is the same as in the cartoon, the peas are boiled into trash, potato slices. For the lean version, 40 minutes would be enough, with the ribs I will put 50-60 minutes.

I'll test all the modes and leave this toy only for smoking or for emergency cooking of soup (well, like, "oh mommy, there is no soup !!!" it happens), otherwise the cartoon characters will stand idle, they will be offended by something good!

Shit, wow, it’s already over, although it’s not surprising, when I arrived at Brand yesterday, they were just loading the car there, including smokers.
Girls, keep your fists, set the sausage to smoke, I'm sitting waiting

Py. sy. there are no shavings in the store, came from the garage, cut off two branches of red rowan, cut them, put them down, set the grate and put the sausage. First, cold smoking for 10 minutes, a slight smell appeared in the kitchen, but not significant, then it switched to hot smoking, steam began to flow from the indicator on the lid, the smoke was hiss, then the lid seemed to suck and the steam stopped going where the valve is (I would called it the pressure relief valve) a puddle formed under it. The question is, is this how it should be? or I poured water, but poured 100 ml.
And yet, I didn't immediately figure out how to start cold smoking - I press the lower part of the button, and the "hot" smoking lights up, then I don't even know why I pressed it a second time, and oh, miracle, cold smoking turned on.

So "People, be careful" !!!!

I really liked the pea soup, and the ribs look appetizing, and the vegetable coclets are wonderful.
Well, it seems that the smoking program is over, I wonder what happened?
