Girls, I froze these gingerbread cookies and kept them in the freezer. A month later, I defrosted them on the Bread mode, they were like just baked !!! I got them one piece a day for my husband, he said they were fresh !!!

Girls, and I baked gingerbread from this dough in the oven today, only replaced the soda with baking powder, and instead of nuts I added orange zest, ginger and cinnamon. Delicious gingerbread cookies turned out. At first they crunched like a shortbread, but they stood in a bag, became softer. I'll bake again tomorrow, because the portion turned out to be one tooth ... And I made it with holes, I thought they would go to the tree ... where there!

Cover the top with chocolate icing, however, I didn't really like this one, but I like chocolate more. glaze on sour cream, it is more creamy. If such pies are left for a couple of days in the cold, then on the third day they are even tastier! I advise everyone !!

Sonadora, I hasten to say thank you for the recipe, I baked it 2 times already, at first I was mistrustful of the recipe, I thought they would be wet, but no, everything turned out great. I did it in a mantle, rolled small balls - how they prepared steel with a diameter of 5 cm and I got 22 things, though without nuts and glaze, but they are so beautifully eaten by all household members. Thanks again, cooking is a pleasure, I love experiments in the kitchen!

True, they did not succeed a little, for some reason they turned out rather liquid.But it's not scary, because this gave me the idea to make a whole gingerbread like this, and then coat it with jam and cover it with icing. Next time I will! Yes, I also put baking paper in the double boiler - it is more convenient to take it out and does not seep into the holes.

Yesterday at night I baked this gingerbread with one gingerbread. I put in ground cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon, and a handful of candied fruits, raisins, and orange peels soaked in cognac. I smeared the top with the simplest icing of powdered sugar and lemon juice with some water. I took it to work.
